what about disease or epidemic outbreak and death of the fish ?


When is the right time to invest and how long to get returns?

Fishes don't experience epidemic outbreak like other livestocks do, diseases and epidemic outbreak in fishes are mainly dependent on two things; water & food.
If this two are vetted especially water, deaths will be nothing but the expected mortality. Its almost impossible to breed fishes and not have certain percentage of death, at most 10%.

The key is frequent change of water, and for proper growth regular feeding and proper feeding size as at when due.

The right time to invest is always NOW. Normally, Fish take some certain months before harvest (4months 3weeks preferably), expect returns to start pouring in at this time.

What are the greatest risks and challenges? Be honest

To be honest investment returns is guaranteed. My short term goal is to scale production to about 3,000 monthly.
Currently, I do about 1,500 which is like twice in 4months due to space, which is sold completely within 3-days after grow out. In essence roi is assured .I also plan to start smoking & probably try my hand on exporting (another ripe market) within the said timeframe.

Greatest risks & challenges?
To be candid, that's going to be lack of proper experiential knowledge of the business vis-a-vis understanding how fishes react, we can also throw in not having a good grasp of the market. All of this I have a good handle on.
Theft, might come in next here only that I am always around, even when I can finally move & get a security person for the night, measures are already thought out to mitigate & curb that end.

The truth remain that fish is very profitable if knowledge is placed ahead & the work is done.

I think its the right time i appeal for your email address or something in order to expound better.

Ok, I started a year ago to a very robust market; the market around where I stay is
very ripe & insatiable. We usually harvest 3-4months because of the small space we are currently on & sells everything within a month. So, recently I got a parcel of land we are expanding into in order to better serve the market here.

The truth is, my hands are full, I rarely have time for myself except to come on Nairaland to ease off stress and some life wahala.


If I promise you that I can be a mentor now, I maybe lying but I pray by the end of this year, I should have some more time to do that cos I have a lot of such requests from former classmates and even relatives.



As for tech skills, I don forget most cos of too much thinking about fine girls with big ukwu and chasing around paper. I can't even write a single line code anymore neither can I put down a storyline like in the past.


I don't know how else I can be of help

The truth is tech for me was because I suddenly noticed i have too much time in between & wanted to earn something while doing fish business.

From your comments I observed you have better knowledge and experiences earning, am sure there's some work I could help out with remotely during my inactive periods or you could point me in the right direction.

For some of us who are sold out to doing business am sure someday we could make out time to let you hear me pitch some of my expansion ideas to you or brandish some profitable & executable ideas to you, not to mention me rubbing off from your excellent ideas. And yes you need to think about solidifying your income for future guarantee so you wont start looking back at when you use to have money in future. Your tomorrow should alwsys be better than your today if you plan well and invest wisely.



Build Apps solving different issues.


Build a team and have the goal of owning a small tech startup company solving local business challenges for Nigerians, and get a solid website for your tech startup and start now to massively promote it with your side income.


If possible get a small office, assemble guys, train two or three and build a solid tech team, then launch out and also have a tech school and market schools to get students, target nairaland too to get students and this will turn you to not just an online freelancer but an employer of labor with more future guarantee and security

Honeywell Flour Mills investors gain N20.7 billion in August 2021

Since the announcement of Flour Mill’s Honeywell shares acquisition, the share price of Honeywell Plc has appreciated by 20.65% from N3.39 to N4.09.

At the end of today’s trading session, Honeywell Flour Mills Plc recorded a gain of 9.95%, which can be attributed to buy-interests in the shares of the company inducing a gain of N2.93 billion in market capitalization at the close of trading activities on the stock exchange market.

The shares of the FMCG advanced from N3.72 per share at the start of trading day, to N4.09 per share representing an increase of 9.95% which in monetary terms is N0.37.

Davido took to his Instagram account to announce the launch of a new social token, going by the ticker, ‘ECHOKE.’ The ticker, ECHOKE comes from a slang the Nigerian Afrobeats artist commonly uses, which ultimately became an internet slang that means ‘pressure.’

Information from the whitepaper of the token reveals that it is a cryptocurrency that is built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and it is meant to, “provide access to giveaways, NFTs, festivals, exclusive merchandise, and other entertainment, media, and hospitality benefits.”

Davido’s announcement explained that he was able to build the token with the help of Bitsika Africa, a remittance company, who reportedly launched a crypto platform called Omegoat. He stated, “I built this with @bitsikaafrica’s new crypto company @omegoat on the Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20). Make sure to follow them.”

Davido also stated that there will not be token sales in the spirit of ‘democracy’ but he will be giving out the tokens through periodic giveaways and the first one is slated to begin on the 28th of November 2021. He stated, “In the spirit of democracy, we will not be selling the tokens to the public. We will release the tokens to the fans through periodic giveaways throughout the next 12 months. According to the whitepaper, the token was created, “To turn fans in the entertainment and media industry from spectators into influencers and stakeholders,” as it cited the growth of the global entertainment industry.

The token hopes to solve the issue of limited direct fan engagement. It explains that the current entertainment industry offers, for the most part, a transactional relationship with fans where they pay to listen to music, attend concerts/shows and buy merchandise without any reciprocal benefits. The token solves this problem.
