She was sponsored and now she has to wait for some years to be eligible to sponsor another person. She can be remarried though. However, if the new spouse doesn't need a visa or is a CC or PR then no immigration thingy is involved.

If you're sponsored and the marriage collapsed with say a divorce and you marry again and wants to sponsor the new spouse, you can marry but have to wait till 4 years to be able to sponsor the latest spouse.

I mean at the time your petition is current, your children are older then 21years, can they still be derivates or you will need to apply for them when u become a citizen

Yes, but you have to do the CSPA calculation first.

This is my own case. I got the NOI, but I will lose 5 out of my current 482 in April. Quite confusing on way forward whether to wait for federal or just go ahead with this. That 1,500CAD is a lot.

You will be fine. Just don't submit yet. Or use stage2.

They are trying to outsmart the other Provinces, they know the scores are going to come down and those desired professionals are going to be scattered to other Provinces through Federal so why not grab them early. Fact is that even without doing anything unless your birthday is close or IELTS expiring, it is almost certain that those who got nominations now will still get FSW in few weeks. Now it is left to balls and gut feelings.

But about 2/3 of those professionals still end up in Ontario anyway.

Only PA pays that cash. Your IELTS expiry may not matter but try to submit before that.

Bros, so long as your wife is a PR, you may not get any TRV. Stop wasting your money and time. Go for family class application.

In the application that got refused, I was self sponsored.

Family Sponsorship. Come as a permanent resident and study as a local.

OINP will reject your application outrightly if your submitted doc are not complete.

The only way is to wait till 40th day before submitting as you have 45 days to submit.

Yes. That's what we are considering. Kinda delay the submission of the NOI ( but ensure to submit within the 45 Calendar days window) while waiting for possible ITA from Federal.

Deliberately omit a document or a passport page. Ontario must ask you for it. You keep missing it while watching if ITA will rapture you, Then Ontario refunds you when you fail to correct your deliberate mistakes. Search this thread and make sure ONIP rules are still same.

Congratulations guys on the ITA and NOI. There is a way to slow-walk the processing to save money especially those who got NOI and who feel their CRS scores could still get them ITA.

Got mine February 2022 but was valid till January 2023 thus I applied for jobs from Naija and only travelled after I got a job in April (10 days to start date). USD1 was 550 then and I didn’t want to convert naira to spend there.
