Uzomachukwuu: If you changed your name after your wedding, the name on your passport needs to synchronize with the current name—which might mean getting a new passport. But if you didn't have a change of name, there wouldn't be a need to get a new passport.
What I don't know though, is whether you can use your old passport bearing your maiden name for your application and then change it later when you get a new one bearing your current name. This might be possible, but I'm not certain. Don't go changing names because of immigration. It is a personal thingy. The worst is when you start with the current passport that has the maiden name and renew with husband name or last name. Nothing is set on stone with regards to name change. My wife adopted my middle name and she is cool with that. She could have left her maiden name and no problem. |

Tgbengus151: By packing a POF, hope s/he isn't going to formulate a fake account statements for you and present it as something genuine? You need to be careful because this is usually the reason why most people get a 5 year ban.
You can ask around for companies that can fund your personal account and then you pay them some certain percent. That's still better. When it backfires, they claim it was the agent. |

IrepChrist: I am Dec. 04, 2006, and I have been in US since 2021. The thing is they don't follow priority date for interview appointments but DQ. Once you Dqed, you are will be queued for up interview.
For those expecting a welcome letter try and make your documents ready and concise to avoid delays. I know and that was what I meant. I had to pressure a family to abandon their family lawyer and fill out the form themselves and it worked in their favor. They are in the US now while those who delayed are still out. |
