Food / Re: Why Is Groundnuts Always In Bottles And Not Plastics. by aeu1: 8:20pm On Oct 18, 2013 |
Beverly1: Oh really?....any advantages of not peeling it?...yes Peeled nuts absorbs air easily than ones with peels. The consumer will peel n eat. that's why only fast selling shops. at motor parks n market retailers are ones that peel to sell. Ordinary shops don't peel. Confirm |
Food / Re: Why Is Groundnuts Always In Bottles And Not Plastics. by aeu1: 4:23pm On Oct 18, 2013 |
Anything airtight will be ok eg 4 litter Jerry can. We have big bottles too. Also paint bucket can do. In that case, use a thicker bread wrapper to conceal the groundnuts. I like those chemical or drug containers cos of their thick plastic gauge. Check market or hospitals or Chemists - Drug stores. Lastly, don't peel the nuts after frying |

Nairaland / General / Re: Stripping Self To Avoid Arrest In Nigeria - A New Trend by aeu1: 4:57pm On Sep 22, 2013 |
I am responding to this thread for the sake of at least one person who will learn something new here. This stripping has a lot to do with the spiritual realm (just realise that mere mentioning of spirit will make many to object profusely), however, for those that are aware that spiritual realm exists: in witchcraft, one of the popular ways of overpowering a target spiritually and consequently physically is to manifest scenes to attract sympathy after the offender must have committed an atrocity. The background to all these stripping is neither scientific, nor psychiatric in most cases as alluded to by many commentaries in this thread. Someone mentioned soldiers would not capitulate, if they are overpowered spiritually, they will equally turn back on a definite note. Lesson: the main reason I post this is that, though we may not have encounter of our offenders striping, many times we nevertheless do experience the same spiritual operation at work. E,g,: assuming you are a manager in an office, your cashier STEALS say N1m, when she closes for the day this shortfall was detected, she (the cashier) weeps, or evoke similar scene, naturally, you normally would have have her arrested or call her guarantor to make up for the loss, but if you in the NORMAL WAY OF SHOWING HUMAN SYMPATHY console her, perhaps, issue her handkerchief considering the volume of tears she is actually shedding - that case will automatically become closed. I am not saying this happens in all instance, but it is a simple tool used by withes/wizards to escape after committing even heinous atrocity. The keyword here is discernment. Similarly, some evil parents purposefully "download" serious or constant sickness or unnatural poverty in partnership with demons and use it as a trap to financially drain their SYMPATHETIC children. Ordinarily, my post does not make sense to reasoning, that is exactly how spiritual issues affects mere casual physical matters without detection. Having this background in mind, will you still blame those police? Someone will equally notice the preponderance of this behavior in localities where people there tend to have a high level of spiritual consciousness!!! Conclusion: as much as it's good to be sympathetic, try and avoid being TRAPPED by agents by being prayerful and observant, especially where when you encounter a sympathetic scenario yet your spirit does not give you inner peace to show sympathy. Someone will immediately recall a typical motor park in major Nigerian cities ........ traps for sympathy along with genuine cases. Some beggers there are housing estate owners!!!!! The world is full of evil. As earlier submitted, please kindly don't waste your time criticizing my position, I am passing info to a soul that badly need this piece. God bless you all. 1 Like |

Business To Business / Sos: Access Bank Stole Client's Fixed Deposit - What Should I Do by aeu1: 8:29pm On Sep 20, 2013 |
It actually started in the days of the then Equity Bank In Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom, a lady subscribed to a 30 days fixed deposit account with 10% interest in 2006. There was a letter to the effect that the principal & interest should be rolled over at the usual 30 days expiry date. Intercontinentalbankplc latter acquired Equity bank and this scenario was sustained, however, Intercontinentalbankplc closed Ikot Abasi branch where this lady's account was domiciled and moved all clients' accounts to her branch at Wellington Bassey way, Uyo. Access bank then acquired the bank. Believing that she is still covered by the standing order she signed, she hardly checked her account. Last month she visited her branch only to discover her Principal amount of 100k in the fixed deposit account has been stolen since 2007. leaving only few thousand naira interest. as balance - going by the statement she was given! The bank branch officers and manager no longer pick her calls, apparently because they don't have any cogent explanation. Please this matter is brought here for advise, where can she report to to recover her hard earned money from fraudulent bankers, Central bank, police or EFCC and how can one go about it? |

Some people are claiming 1.6L engine don't have factory fitted AC N/B: 1.6l sized engine with AC is preferred because of insistence on minimal fueling expense. Advise please |

You know the biz you're into in more like semi white collar job. Implications: It is increasingly going to become competitive except Naija seriously go into car manufacturing. To entrench, why not think of robust online original parts supply for new car models, and/or set up Modern Auto workshop locally compliment with inbuilt training college that awards diploma from US college. on Mechatronics or collaborate with a university to award degrees and possibly site more branches in different towns in Nigeria after some. years. I tell U, Private schools are booming investment here, moreso, u award foreign certificate and impart scarce practical skills. Of course, you are making profit, but you are not properly positioned in auto industry. Even here in Nairaland, it is not car suppliers that is the biggest problem, but dreath of well trained technicians - invariably, that is where the most juicy opportunity lies. This is not the kind of advice you may expect, but meditate on it, of course you have to partner to make it easier to accomplish this vision |

Health / Can Garri Cause Blindness? by aeu1: 2:41pm On Aug 29, 2013 |
There has been this insinuations that garri can lead to poor vision in the following ways: 1. Consuming hot garri (eba) with alongside soup 2. Soaking garri without drainaing water to remove chaff. My main argument here is when we prepare garri with hot water, this ritual is not observed. 3. White garri - the ones fried without palm oil. Is there any relationship between garri and deterioration of vision in any way Pls let's try and contribute, since garri is a staple food that is regularly eaten over here. Tnx |

OP, why not buy Picnic and have rest for your soul. I've seen Picnic being offered for sale here on NL for your budget, car market is buyers market. Picnic has 6 and 7 seats specs. Post your demand in Autos section and receive offers. All your adumbrating on Mazda MPV n Odessey is really uncalled for, be nice to accept that best lies not in appearance but hassles free experience in what'll be your choice Regards 1 Like |

aeu1: Thanks for the profound views, personally I like Volkswagen products, however from what I can fathom from topics this forum and car forums in other countries, Volkswagen specified engine oil and ATF is not avilable anywhere in the world outside VW dealership shops - at outrageous prices, VW is also designed for Premium fuel - which is not available in Naija, the regular feul here will result in poor fuel economy and other issues when used, can someone refute or confirm my points |
