My prayer is for NIPOST to resurrect.
The last time.I send an order via NIPOST to Oyo State. It was about 1 month for the receiver to inform me.of receipt.
The insider hint has it that NIPOST now partners with a company to handle movement of mails and not in-house driver - but that ought make it faster., the reverse is the case here.
I feel that they must have been mandated to run as business entity and generate funds and the Territorial Managers are devising different strategies to meet that target - even at the expense of service quality.
I want to assume - the Post Master here may believe in piling up the letters and sending them in bigger bulk or other unconventional stunts.
I'm surprised to hear that you are having it smooth with them in North Central!
When next I go there I will try and.pop-nose to see if I gather useful disclosures on this.

It means it's Post Office delivery.
I just talked to a staff and he confirmed to me that Post office is still functional!!!
But from my experience- it may take 1- 3 months for PO to deliver aliexpress parcel.

Buying from authorised dealers is a sure no story way to go. Not that you won't find many reputable LG showroom selling genuine AC. But if you're highly risk averse, please buy from Fouani. The are LG authorised dealer in Nigeria. I think they do "free delivery" above a certain amount.

I left electronics sales job since 2008, but what i observed was - brand representatives in Nigeria do mix fake with original and sell. I knew Faouni for sure with LG products. It was so obvious with the rate of failure of LG products of all range (TV, Home theaters, AC, fridges, etc).
This deceit extended to generators and Laptops/computer country representatives too.
There is no easy way to figure out fake from original my dear - I once cross checked an item we bought from Fouani from LG's website and discovered it was not among listed LG' s models as at that time, but I found the model at Alibaba website in China. So Fouani must have ordered from China and requested them to brand it with LG label. This product started giving problem in a short time.
Suggestion; stick to sellers that offers and ho ours warranty and try and preserve your receipts and warranty cards for possible future claims.
I want to believe this practice still exists.

I hope that you guys know that GTB are running a promotion on AliExpress! You save twenty dollars when you spend 50, thirty when you spend 100 and 80 when you spend 200 as long as you use their dollar card. I just ordered a tablet.

My main problem with all these bank's dollar cards is their annual maintenance fee of $10 (that's a whooping N10,000 by today's rate)

... then why can't speedaf accept and return the same Choice parcel that they delivered for aliexpress?
If you are taking about NIPOST, speedaf is still the carrier of NIPOST mail nowadays.
Except Aliexpress didn't actually make true of their claim of free return for choice items.

I did that on their twitter page. I dmed them and they replied. They reply fast and you will get a call from them. That's what I did. They deliver the card to you after all that.

I used providus bank platinum MasterCard yesterday and the rate was 836 naira. It's just expensive. 5k for the card and 100k minimum opening balance but you can remove all your 100k later. Their limit is 3000 USD per month and 100,000 USD per year. Although it's quite expensive, it saves me all these virtual people brouhaha or banks cancelling their cards. These people don't cancel this card at all. I can finally rest small. Another option is to get a dollar card and domiciliary account and get dollar from Aboki. Already went through that path but I still prefer Providus bank method. Hope it helps anyone.
