2017 was a tough year for my family. Lost my investment January 2017 and was indebted. Lost my mother-in-law March of same year and a big brother-in-law that promised to help and certain to, was assassinate by May of that same year.

Things were hard. Wifey lost her job too. Contemplated suicide, but for my mum, wife and little son. I dare not leave them alone to suffer in this world. Rent was long due and quit notice arrived.

I fought, prayed and hustled with Wifey. 2020, people are complaining, but my home is different. God intervened and everything that was lost was recovered. A better job and a good hustling.

We danced too to the glory of God. If there is life, there is hope.

Send it to me, so I can ask my village people.

IMO, having that much number of people contesting a party primary doesn't portray it as a democratic party, but rather, a party not united.

That Nigeria still exist with the way it's being governed amazes me .

Millions of supposedly educated people are being bundled around by a few miscreants in the name of leadership, and nobody dares to put up a good and tangible resistance.

A man would even sell his land to pay for hospital Bill's or school fees for the kids. But the men here are bent on denying their 'kids' education and health care services just to purchase a land.

Whenever I read news like this, I always ponder, where is their conscience? No empathy, na tangible reasoning, nothing.

Instead of the youths to form a formidable force to retire this old folks, they are engaged in a more fruitless battle of ethnicity and religion. Here( on nairaland), you will see them defending their oppressors with every ounce of intelligence in them just to spite the other person whose idea doesn't align with theirs. And do not show any trace of being better of when entrusted with power.

Truth be told, there is no template for a happy marriage. Some women stay home and are happy. Some that are home and have everything at their disposal are calling family meetings for their husbands to allow them work. Some are happy working. Wickedness in marriage is relative. What works for me might be a disaster for you. You just work it out with your partner.

In all of these, I just hope you are married. If not, you will only understand when you do.

There is no need forming strong man in this time and age. There is so much uncertainties for one to begin to follow that part of strong man (who dies silently in times of trials) and a totally submissive wife who does not question the husband's mistakes.

It is an era of partnership as in 1+1=1.

I support my wife 150% to reach wherever she so desires. We strategise together on how to make more money, our kids and in everything around us. It keeps us together. Attention is drawn to mistakes without animosity.

Instead of forming strong man, why not form strong partnership.
