Them rejecting Esn initially is prior to the fact that mnk made a statement that insulted everything we hold their and are known for, from the days of our ancestors till this very day.

I was chatting with my good friend while having our flenjo moment together, on this very Esn issue. He is an Ipob member although not a fanatic.

So I asked him just one question that won the argument, and I am throwing the question open to the floor.

The question was if Massob or Uche Mefor create a militia and tags it as the regional security outfit for Ala Igbo, Will the Ohaneze and SE leaders accept it?

Will ipob accept them

will that not be painting the narration that they are the all in all in Ala Igbo.

Igbo was, is and can never be a one man or group affair.

We are a people that never gave room for authocracy and supremacists.

Matters like a regional security outfit must be a generally debated and accepted creation. If they had accepted Esn as a regional security outfit dat would mean all of us a under the calling and control of Ipob.

The Voice of Igbo has called upon every entity and groups, including Esn to join hand in defending Ala Igbo, that's wat we should be focused on now, the only thing that should be focused on is a united front for Igbo and not a segment.

We need unity to win this uncircumcised criminals.

And I applaud the fact that mnk has started that he will work with every other groups and vigilante to defend Ala Igbo.

That's the main thing, We need our Ipob brothers to pllsss come to terms with the fact that all of us can never be ipob.
some of us are Ohaneze youth group, some of us are forest guards,some of us are Massob, but wat we need now is to shift our various group allegiance and fight together on one front as a people.

Soldiers of an unidentified battalion in Operation Lafiya Dole have protested their posting to a location in the Theatre of Operation.

According to Channels Television, the aggrieved soldiers at the Maimalari barracks besieged the headquarters of the Theatre Command in Borno State, shooting sporadically into the air on Thursday night following their redeployment.

They cited nonpayment of allowances and poor equipment as reasons for their rebellion.


Some of the soldiers who spoke under anonymity recall how a whole unit that went for reinforcement when Marte was captured last month, perished under the superior firepower of the enemy forces.


The Media Coordinator for Operation Lafiya Dole, Colonel Ado Isa, confirmed the incident.


While blaming the protest on the soldiers’ minor admin/welfare, he said the issues were promptly addressed.


This protest is coming on the heels of a statement made by the National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno, that billions of naira meant for purchasing arms and ammunition could not be accounted for.

According to the NSA, the funds were released during the time of the last set of service chiefs but the current set could not explain the whereabouts of the funds or equipment.


No less than $1 billion was released for the procurement according to Monguno, a retired Major General.
