I have stated clearly reasons. Without doubt the igbos are the most mobile race in Africa and there are factors which guided their mobility within the last 20 years and as these factors vary we would see their velocity vary with these.

My thoughts are that every region in the country has an environmental issue to resolve, the south east is currently battling erosion menace, the north east and north west is battling desertification and desert encroachment, while the Niger delta is being troubled by the menace of environmental pollution, the north central has flooding , overflowing of river banks and earth tremors, while the south west has perennial flooding occasioned by lack of drainage in lagos, poor living conditions occasioned by unpleasant and unplanned neighbourhood.
