Politics / Re: Solution To The Niger Delta Crisis? by AfricaFace(f): 9:54am On Oct 04, 2006
My People , before now, iuse to think that the Niger Deltans are tooo unreasonable, some time last year i passed Warri on my way to Lagos , O my God, it's nothing to write home about, do u know that there is nothing like fertile land or even clean water , from a car , i saw that all the ground was covered with Black Oil.  I mean this pple can't farm, no water to drink. Still i didn't want to support their quest for resource sharing and  fight against teh Government , But i got off my senses  when i got a job with an Oil servicing company. O my God , they call them experts , those white people , you can imagine, somebody doing the same job with you in the office is receiving your yearly salary as just a month salary, sincerely, my job collegue receives 6000 pounds(1.5m) per month , while i am paid about 130k per month , whyyyyyy my der nigerians , we own this oil, have you asked yourself , why they oyibo's has refused to retire to their country even after their brothers has been killed and abducted, instaed more of them are still coming over, This is a period  of  Neo colinialism, Let them go. If our government doesn't do anything about this soon. The Niger Deltans will continue to cause problem. Unless they start treating everybosy as an expert
Jokes Etc / Fly Nigeria Airways by AfricaFace(f): 1:10pm On Oct 01, 2006
Nigeria Airways
Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen. This is your captain Boniface welcoming you on board of Nigeria Airways. We apologize for the four-day delay in taking off, it was due to bad weather and some overtime I had to put in at the bakery. This is flight 126 to Lagos. Landing in Lagos is not guaranteed, but we will end up somewhere in the south. If luck is in our favor, we may even be landing on your village.

Nigeria Airways has an excellent safety-record. In fact our safety standards are so high that even terrorists are afraid to fly with us.

It is with great pleasure I announce that since starting this year over 50percent of our passengers have reached their destination. If our engines are too noisy for you, on passenger request, we can arrange to turn them off.

To make your free fall to earth pleasant and memorable, we serve complimentary Bongo tea and Okin biscuits. For our not-so-religious passengers, we are the only airline who can help you find out if there really is a God.

We regret to inform you, that today’s in-flight movie will not be shown as we forgot to record it from the television. But for our movie buffs, we will be flying right next to Al Barka, where their movie will be visible from the right side of the cabin window.

There is no smoking allowed in this plane. Any smoke you see in the cabin is only the early warning system on the engines telling us to slow down. In order to catch important landmarks, we try to fly as close as possible for the best view. If, however, we go a little too close, do let us know. Our enthusiastic co-pilot sometimes flies right through the landmark.

Kindly be seated, keep your seat in an upright position for take-off and fasten your seatbelt. For those of you who can’t find a seatbelt, kindly fasten your own belt to the arm of your seat …and for those of you who can’t find a seat, do not hesitate to get in touch with a stewardess who will explain how to fasten yourself to your suitcase."

Enjoy Nigeria Airways
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Accenture Recruitment by AfricaFace(f): 9:43am On Sep 28, 2006
Hello nairalanders,

I submitted my CV for this Accenture stuff , i have OCP (ODBA), have they started calling people, i learnt they want pple with ERP /Oracle financials experience, it sounds too bad , because no IT training school is offering that course , even NIIT. i learnt one company got the licence from Oracle to do it , but tehy are based in Abuja, and that the training is a classroom work of 6weeks no part-time for 1.5m.

Does anyone have the books or experience in Oracle suites ( Financials , HRM, CRM)

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Choice Between Uba And First Bank by AfricaFace(f): 12:51pm On Sep 19, 2006
YOU ARE YET TO GET THE UBA JOB NOW, DO WE PRAY FOR YOU NOT TO SUCCED IN THE UBA INTERVIEW S THAT U DON'T AVE A PROBLEM OF CHOICE. BOTH OF THEM ARE ON THE SAME LINE WHEN IT COMES TO PAY, UBA IS STRENUOUS, FIRST BANK IS TOO EPOCH. AS PER CAREER WISE UBA HAVE BETTER LIGHT IN BANKING INDUTRY THAN FIRST BANK. IF YOU EVENTUALLY GET THE TWO , I ADVISE YOU PICK UBA BECAUSE THE PRESURE THEIR WILL ORCE YOU TO ANOTHER BANK WHICH WILL A LINE OF GROWH. BUT IN FIRSTBANK , U WILL BW SO RELAXED THAT YOU WILL THINK THAT'S THE END OF THE ROAD.
OLD BOY CHOOSE UBA
