CrimeRe: To Hack a Cyber-cafe Timer? by africanboy(m): 4:30pm On Jan 31, 2006
really bad request! why would u want 2 perpetrate acts that could infringe on someone's meal ticket. there r many ways of hacking timers, but it is wrong. if actually d timing software takes 2 mins off, talk to the owners to add 2 mins extra.
PoliticsRe: What Can Honest Nigerians Do to Stop 'Nigerian Scams'? by africanboy(m): 4:21pm On Jan 31, 2006
its a 2way thing. we shuld educate outsiders who think they can get 60% of 100 million dollars by just paying 1000 dolars or something similar. its greed, pure greed.

"e ma shi mi gbo", i am not saying 419 is good but d fight has been taken home, we need to take d other part to d appropriate quarters.

another example, u r selling online and a request is mad from suspicious quarters (notify some authority) abd delay pending d confirmation
Music/RadioRe: Omotola's Song by africanboy(m): 4:09pm On Jan 31, 2006
i really dont understand y omtola, genevieve and others had 2 go singing AFTER the ban on them, if they had d skills y not b4 d ban.

Point? look @ julius agwu - artist (paradise park), comedy (crack ya ribs) and singing (sunita et al).

**using a fairly large screen, so am reducing d size of d shot, if it does not turn out well, i will repost**

i reposted, hope d download doesnt take too long

WebmastersRe: Top Ten Nigerian Web Designers <caution> by africanboy(m): 3:19pm On Jan 31, 2006
kris,

looking @ ur screenshots shows dat ur site is not properly indexed. google only has d first page, and probably re-indexing its sessions.

looking 4 info within a sub directory seems 2 b a mission "maybe"
ProgrammingRe: Web Development Using ASP by africanboy(m): 3:01pm On Jan 31, 2006
whether banks use ASP or PHP, i cant really say, but banks r nt d oly 1s who require secure apps. php supporters should support theri side of d argument by listing other "secure" sites dat use PHP
Dating And Meet-up ZoneAutomated Matchmaker by africanboy(op): 2:05pm On Jan 31, 2006

PhonesRe: Unlocking Nokia 6630 by africanboy(m): 12:40pm On Jan 31, 2006
candid advice. drop it.

better still, look for someone with a "clean" version of the phone, rip the os from the fone unto ur system and overwrite d os of d one with u.

candid advice again, go buy d "non locked" version. a friend-of-a-friend of mine bought his for 32,000 naira, new.

oh, BTW, i have a locked version of d phone, but i dont use it, i have 6600
ProgrammingRe: Web Development Using ASP by africanboy(m): 11:37am On Jan 31, 2006
really i was pissed seeing some1 actually took time to clik on reply and spent some minutes typing a messaging asking some1 2 leave asp and migrate 2 php. i started with asp, still with asp and will be with asp 4 a long time. taking on asp.net also.

wanted to try php, but with its similarity to C language, i wasnt too encouraged. *i dont like case sensitive language and braces* still want 2 try it anyways. php has many folowers but asp seems 2 be a favourable 2 me.

someone tell d moderator to create a category for downloads of asp scripts.
ProgrammingRe: Any Visual Basic (VB) Guru In The House? by africanboy(m): 3:51pm On Jan 30, 2006
I program with VB, now moving 2 VBNET2005, shouldt there b a category 4 d languages instead of just a thread, i dont have d patience 2 scroll thru all d pages.

And some1 tell d webmaster to *please* activate a "quick post" reply. Having to load another page for posting a reply makes d browsing "wonky"

tongue
ProgrammingRe: Dreamweaver vs FrontPage by africanboy(m): 3:39pm On Jan 30, 2006
I prefer Dreamweaver, but runs "unexcusably" slow as compared to FrontPage. For professional development, DW is d obvious choice, with support for server extensions and the like. But when I need to mock up a page real fast, i use FP. It runs faster.

And I have used both on PIII and PIV, so i think i kow what ma saying
