Celebrated Nigerian award-winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has become the first woman to be made a chief in her hometown after being conferred with a chieftaincy title in recognition of her contributions to the welfare and development of her hometown, Abba.
On December 30th 2022, the multi-award-winning author and public speaker were conferred a chieftaincy title by the monarch of her hometown Abba in Anambra State, Nigeria.
The conferment took place at the 45th Ofala Festival and the 80th birthday celebration of Igwe Ezeh, the king of Abba.

Sleep eluded the whole country on Monday, October 31, 2022, night, following sad reports that Ifeanyi Adeleke, the 3-year-old son of music superstar Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, had passed away.
