There will be no corruption without Nigeria and there will be no Nigeria without corruption. Any day corruption ends in Nigeria our name would be turned upside-down i.e AIREGIN |
@redsun I' am not on the side of anybody. But I' am a realist. |
@redsun You are not on my side?. What side am I? |
@redsun Thank you!. IBB and OBJ is one and the same thing many foolish NLers still don't know it. Just few days ago both have met in Abuja at IBB's residence!. IBB is the next president of Nigeria, the ONLY problem he have right now is Goodluck Jonathan. |
@rasputinn Sometimes I' am suprised when I hear from people like yourself who don't understand the type of a country Nigeria is. Incase you don't know it yet get it now. Nigeria is a type of a country where only people like IBB rules. Your next president is IBB you don't have to do anything about it to happen. His presidential bid is not in futility. This is not a country for the orderly. |
Do you mean you are suprised to hear this news?. What else do you expect from the most corrupt country on earth ?.There's nothing about Nigeria governemnt that's not corrupt. |
Hon. Pat is a nice man. That's his way of life. Please get your own life!!!. |
One should just pray not to fall sick. Once you fall sick doctors will use you and make their money. This is truely a bizzare country. I remember I was once taking an injection lasting 2 weeks and half way through the treatment the doctor told me the drug price have gone up and that I needed to pay more money. I knew immediately it was a lie. But that I did as I have no other choice at that point than to finish the scheme. |
N30 Million for a logo??!!!. Are you joking ![]() I WOULD DESIGN THE LOGO FOR FREE. I mean a world class logo. If anybody among them see this message please contact me. Don't waste that money please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I still don't understand why a Nigerian should travel to South Africa to live. South Africa is not a secure country. A country where you could be killed just for walking the street. Look at how their best musician Lucky Dube was murdered. The world cup was nearly stolen!!. As one of the post pointed out all Nigerian need to come home and fight the corrupt government that forced them be traveling over the world in search of greener pastures. If we all can fight our corrupt government at home and have just adequate supply of electricity most Nigerians will not want to travel outside Nigeria. |
I' am rather suprised that most of you are suprised by this news. Why are you suprised?. Journalists have been taking money from politicians for many years. NIGERIA IS A CORRUPT USELESS COUNTRY. Corruption means that something is damaged and is no longer of any use. Example; when your computer is said to be corrupt all you can do is re-format the computer and start afresh otherwise the computer will be of no use to you. THERE'S NOTHING THAT'S NOT CORRUPT IN NIGERIA INCLUDING YOURSELVES NLers. We all were born into corruption not by choice. |
You all should note that Orji Uzo Kalu is not a farmer but a politician. That guy is one of the smartest politician in Nigeria, the only reason he will not rule Nigeria is because he is not from the north. His political instincts tells him to switch party for his interest that's why he have done so. The rules of political parties allows one to switch between parties and it's totally acceptable especially in a corrupt country like Nigeria. Next you will hear from him is he have decamped PDP again off course when it is the right time to do so. |

Sorry I mean; @monkeyleg And for me if you put a gun on my head I would nominate Gov. Fashola |
@Kobojunkie And for me if you put a gun on my head I would nominate Gov. Fashola |
@monkeyleg We are now saying the same thing. In my last post I've said "what I've learnt is Nigeria is in such a terrible condition that we can accept someone like Ribadu as a decent man, just like a beggar can accept any sum of money you are willing to offer him". |
@NaijaNaWaa My brother!!!. I've been following this thread since 2 days just to see whether there's any future for Nigeria. Sadly, sadly, sadly, there's no future for this country. Ribadu as I can see is certainly not a true hero if not for the medriocre we equate ourselves in Nigeria when it comes to decency. I' ve said it before, in a decent country Ribadu would not be seen as having achieved anything extraordinary. But what I've learnt is Nigeria is in such a terribly condition that we can accept someone like Ribadu as a decent man, just like a beggar can accept any sum of money you are willing to offer him. |
@Kobojunkie Don't get me wrong either. We are more or less saying the same thing. To be perfectly honest with you Ribadu is the best on offer at the moment(due to the alarming level of decay in Nigeria). But my anger is; if this man is the most decent Nigeria can afford come 2011 then we are totally a dead country. @Gbawe You are a nice man. So long as you are not working for any political party I would say you are making good sense. But I have seen a lot in my life as a person and as Nigerian not to be gullible. There's nobody to trust in Nigerian politics. Ribadu is good but he looks to me like somebody who would be remote controled (as he have shown during his days as EFCC head). As "Jorem" have pointed out Ribadu still have some unanswered concerns on his head. OBJ picked him as the EFCC head and he achieved minimal results. Is this why he should become the president of Nigeria?. This man had the opportunity to jail "all" who have stole our money instead he allowed himself to be used to settle political scores. You asked for my nominee: If Fashola is not contesting come 2011 I would not be voting. |
@Kobojunkie / @NaijaNaWaa / @redsun / @cre8tivity I' am just happy for all of you as Nigerians. You are all reasonable people. Thank you all for seeing things in 3D. |
@monkeyleg Unfortunately, there's hardly any credible politician left (today) including Ribadu. Following his records within such a short period Governor Fashola is the only near credible politician that I know of. I have suggested Fashola it's now up to you to make him the president come 2011. |
So Nigeria has goten to a point where somebody who have done his normal office assignment is being considered as a saint?. If Ribadu was indeed a saint so many Nigerian politicians, leaders past and present would be in jail now. I' am not saying Ribadu is a bad person but I' am just ashamed that we live in such a country where somebody with such a little input is regarded as a saint. Now I know Nigeria is really a very corrupt useless country. If anybody put me in the position of EFCC head I will jail all past Nigerian head of states. Take it from me. In many countries Ribadu would not be considered as having achieved anything extraordinary. |
Nigeria is the most corrupt country in the world!. Or at least one of the most corrupt country in the world. This means there's no parastatal that is free including you posters here in NL. Police, customs e.t.c; including non governmentals like banks e.t.c. Corrupt means that an item is damaged and is no longer of any use. Example; if a car had an accident and have damaged beyong repair there's nothing you can do about it than to throw it away. For Nigeria to change from this status it would take a revolution, unfortunately, the corruption itself would not allow that. Corruption have taken hold of the country and now directs the affairs. How many of you here have never given bribe before? |
This is not the first time the Nigerian government have promised it's citizens to do something on electricity. I strongly believe you people knows what our problem is but corruption wouldn't just allow you to take necessary action. Now before you start awarding those big contracts make sure you know before hand that you are awarding contracts to existing companies. We would not want to hear again how those contracts were being awarded to some non-existing companies. There's no need for anybody to believe anything out of this story until it happens. It's not the first time such have been promised to Nigerians. |
