There's this group of fraud Star renting out fake house to people in Logos,

I saw their banner somewhere and unknowingly to me I contacted them that I needed an apartment, they took me to see a property located in an Estate. I inspected it twice, one was my self and the second was with my fiancee and on both occasions, I tried to ask about the house form neighbours around but there was no useful information about the owner, then I told them I'd like to see the original owner. I went with my pastor to meet the woman (pretended owner) and unknowingly made part payment, I paid cash, and agreed to complete the payment in some weeks time. I was given a receipt.

Just two days after, they contacted me that I should pay the balance because they needed to complete some work on the property, and I should do a bank transfer to an account number they gave me. I refused and told them I want to stick to the agreed date, they became very disturbing and I began to suspect something was wrong. Than I went back to the property and I got a lead who told me about the house. Then I know it was a trap and I had fallen.

I went to report the case at the police station the following day, during my statement, one other police officer saw the receipt I was issued and he identified it immediately as a case he's also working on were they also issued the person a similar receipt, he also showed me some pictures. They collected some money form me and told me they will investigate the case but till now nothing form them.

The fake banner is still there till today, I got my fiancee to call the number and they also started the same process they did with me with her

I still have contact with the three people that scammed me as they are expecting me to pay the balance.


Please nairalanders I need help to track these guys down and recover my money.

I'm a 22 years old boy who's been constantly torn apart from within, I have always been seen as the black sheep in the family, I mean everything I do comes back to haunt me. I finished secondary school 2013, took Jamb but didn't get through, then 2015 came and got a pre-degree form for Adekunle ajasin University located in Ondo. I scaled through the exams, got admitted but I need was to pass Jamb for the same year. I didn't make the cut off.
  I was so ashamed of myself but I believed I still had time, so I came up with a lie, what I was going to do was pretend I actually got admitted to the school, then with the money given to me, I would get another Jamb, pass it and be a student...
  Unluckily for me, I got found out by my cousin in school who told my family, now they are requesting for my matric number and password, which I don't have. I'm too deep in the lie to say the truth because I know I'm most likely going to be disowned (my dad has made that clear). Now I'm thinking about cutting ties, staying in school and try to come up with some money so I can really be in school and study.. only then can I tell them what happened.. I don't know, I'm pretty confused and would be grateful to any advice, I'm lost but I'm hoping to find my way..

A terrible accident occured today at Army Gate Onitsha. The Sad incident occurred in front of Army Gate Onitsha between an 18 seater bus belonging to Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee's and a Honda EOD belonging to Rev Father presiding at the Military Catholic church Onitsha.

The incident was reported to wakabobo.com by an eyewitness who spoke in anonymity, according to the eyewitness " The Military police officers stationed at the Army gate controlling traffic stopped vehicles approaching the gate which is a routine to allow vehicles and pedestrians moving in and out of the Barracks to cross the ever busy Onitsha Enugu Road to the other side. Unfortunately the Bus belonging to the NULGE failed break and could not stop, thereby colliding with the Honda EOD Which led to a collision. As at the time of filing this report via wakabobo.com, the Rev Father was rushed to the Medical Reception Station and was responding to treatment. The NULGE Bus driver was unconscious. I write to draw your consciousness to the prolonged legal proceedings between Chief Olisah Metuh and the Federal Government of Nigeria.

At the last count, this case has dragged for over three years and I wondered the lacuna which our administration of criminal justice act has created.

How I wish the act could be so amended such that where good evidences are tendered as exhibits, the accused is allowed to be remanded regardless of status.

Not until such amendments is allowed, the speed at which criminal cases are tried cannot be made fast.

How can Olisah Metuh be sick for over three years?.

I have another beauty now, and we've gotten along fine together. She is Meek, and this means she could be good to anyone, and anyone could be her friend...
She knows about my ex. initially, twas hatred my ex displayed for her, but now...

A day came and my ex came to my house to tell me, she's tried her best to get over me, and I couldn't help her heal, she's going to help herself and find a way to revenge.

Lately, she's almost always with my gf currently, she wants to go where my gf is going... Always in her room... In fact always with her. Somehow, I feel unsafe with it.

I've told my gf I don't like it like it, but I can't do more than that. Any good advice can help me right now.
