Romance / How To Stop Ur Addiction by africonn: 1:03pm On Apr 04, 2022 |
Gambling is a really big problem in the society because it gives hope and then crushes it after few hours of sport or computer simulated game plays. This becomes a dopamine releasing habit and becomes an addiction in no time, this type of addiction doesn't just ruin one's health, it ruins relationship, finances, mental well-being, and most importantly ability to function and get things done. Gambling is like other form of addiction and as to be treated like such for effective solutions. 1. Find what triggers the impulsive behavior e.g. it could be you love watching some kinds of games and you are tempted to go to stats sites for more information their events and from there finds odds and sport bookmaker ads on the stats site, which eventually leads you to a sport betting site. Find the triggers and run away from it. 2. Replace what ever you ran away from with a new but beneficial task, You have to replace the habit that trigger your gambling addiction with a new neutral habit, that is fun, stress relieving and brain stimulating 3. Set systems in place to avoid relapsing, ever kind of addiction has a specify neural pathway in our brain which is not easy to untangle but it can become weaken and less impulse the more we get away from it but that doesn't mean we will just forget our addicting habit the more we walk away thus it much possible to relapse and fall back into our old habit. To avid that there must always be a contingency plan, to avoid relapsing, i am going to talk about the tool that will help with in this video. If this is you or you know someone who doesn't gamble responsibly and needs quick help watch the video to get informed and share this video with people with the same issues. Thanks liking and dropping comment on this content will make it reach more people with the problems. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2B1TaU8YfYE |

Dreal1247: Exactly, why i am writing this here as diary and a warning to others, don't joke with proper legal documents oo. This people aren't nice oo. this is where they see money to build house, buy cars and send there kids to school, and they will happily do it at the detriment of another person. 12k and a lot of time lost on the road for absolutely nothing, becareful transacting on jiji, after I got home, I thought the bike could have easily be a stolen vehicle but I know this isn't because if it's was the seller won't be there all through. |
Crime / My Ordeal With Nigerian Police (criminals) by africonn: 2:21pm On Feb 22, 2022 |
I needed a bike, those rubber bike known as ladies bike. My budget couldn't reach a new one so I opt for farely used, very neat and within budget, I currently reside at a remote town in oyo state, I saw someone on jiji who lives at Ibadan. We spoke and reach to terms, not having much experience with vehicle purchase except bicycle, I took someone who is not that experience either but at least could drive the bike. To cut the long story short, I learnt how to ride, which was surprisingly easy, though I am good with bicycle and manual transmission vehicles, i was about to return with the bike, we passed town, around bere and mapo, a police man stopped us. He ask for the papers, not having much experience with the stuff, I gladly showed him, he said the papers doesn't not prove I am the owner of the bike, that I am a third party. After so many drags, he said he will take the bike to the station, i begged him with 500h, I said he wants 1k, he later accept the 500h. But told me to go the person who sold the stuff to me and for change of ownership and agreement, which I didn't think was necessary. What made it worse was the bike doesn't have plate number which was what attracted the policemen in the first place. After the settlement, I thank the man for accepting 500h funny right Omo I begged, Chai. Just a few throttle away, we unfortunately jammed a senior officer DSP, very smart, cunning and wicked, the most merciless man I have seen this year. He looked through the papers and spot alot of errors the person who sold me the bike made on his own sworn affidavit, he said the person lied to the court of law by having sworn affidavit for proof of ownership instead of sworn affidavit for change of ownership, that's how Baba say make we go meet him boy after so much grammar. That one bill us 20k, I nearly cry. I negotiated under hot sun. The man was just using me to catch cruise wasted my time. He was busy looking for offence seizing other people's keys and billing people his status. I mean money he doesn't think much of. Like telling a cab driver to bring 20k, he was like sell your phone, call your people, I was just looking, a man that earns a lot at least for the Nigerian economy could be this wicked, calling motorist animals, embarrassing and disgracing people, mehn I was pained, I record as much as I could. He hid his force number under a reflective jacket and does all his evil work through his pot bellied boy . After much beg and suffer. I paid 7k cash to his boy, who holds the money, I thought this man is playing smart. Like I don't really have anything against thus the stunt he just pull is ILLEGAL but could not be used against him. Mehn broke man can not do shit here. After my bike was returned I calculated all the route without police man, thinking I would be free, if I can exit Ibadan. I was successful at avoiding the policemen all joints, till I get to the motor park, cos the travelling road is very dangerous and I am not confident I could ride a bike on such dangerous tiny roads with heavy overtaking trucks. So I hired a big old model sienna, I put the bike in, I thought there wouldn't be any problems again, after a long run b4 Oyo, I was even asleep that's how comfortable I was, when I saw a policeman questioning the driver, 'who get bike and where are the papers'. I knew another wahala his brewing. After showing the policeman the papers, he asked the driver to drop the bike and he should drive the rest of the passenger away, that I will go to where the seller of the bike was, call him and come and clarify some things on the papers, after long prolong insults and name calling, say the this is a stolen vehicle, that no body honours a receipt that could be printed anywhere, except court Signed papers, police reports etc. I realised my errors, and saw that I didn't do my due diligence. The guys were so hot blooded. The senior officer there passed me to the junior one, that one just put it straight to me - 'should we drop the bike or you will do normal and we will over look it, cos this na stolen bike' oya choose one. I don't want them to prolong stuff and told them I had 2k. He was like are we hungry, na 10k we go collect or we are dropping this bike. When the driver saw I couldn't handle the negotiations, he start his own shakara, that he is leaving they should talk fast. Eventually he paid 4k which I refunded in the car. When we were leaving, I heard the junior officers grumbling that they hate when that there highway unit boss is around that he spoils market everytime for them. that if he wasn't there, I was paying nothing less that 20k patapata 10k after time wasting, I just shook my head in gratitude, I know I am at fault here and it would never happen again. I didn't do my due diligence. What I just wrote here is a reminder of a not so sweet and stressing incident, what do you think, I tried to narrate it the way it happened. I noticed something the first man that took money from me, I hated if I was handled a gun, I would pull the trigger, but the last. I just felt grateful letting me go. I got to town, I gave street boys 500h. After that the rest was smooth, I will going back to Ibadan to do all the necessary ( since the seller is a really really nice person, He was there through the whole thing) do the necessary papers and register with the bike. Through out this I dressed normal yet they will ask for money dey don't have, like everyone is a yahoo guy. What would you have done? Don't mess with these People they are very wicked people, broke with power === tyranny, just play by the rules and we go all dey alright las las
