You don't necessarily need a team to get some products done bro...

Sometimes start small and scale.

Also, one is not limited to just one product...

Doesn't work most times, tried it. You need operations, finances, marketing and leverage to make the goods ideas work.

Personally it makes it harder when high to code unless you are used to it, but when I am taking Loud and something milder and listening to some Lofi music, it puts me in a state where I can feel relaxed and focused. Most of the times, my thoughts are sporadic and hard for me to focus.

SO no it doesn't my code better, it just makes me feel relaxed and detached from thoughts.

I will not recommend though.

Romance / How To Stop Ur Addiction by africonn: 1:03pm On Apr 04, 2022
Gambling is a really big problem in the society because it gives hope and then crushes it after few hours of sport or computer simulated game plays. This becomes a dopamine releasing habit and becomes an addiction in no time, this type of addiction doesn't just ruin one's health, it ruins relationship, finances, mental well-being, and most importantly ability to function and get things done.

Gambling is like other form of addiction and as to be treated like such for effective solutions.
1. Find what triggers the impulsive behavior e.g. it could be you love watching some kinds of games and you are tempted to go to stats sites for more information their events and from there finds odds and sport bookmaker ads on the stats site, which eventually leads you to a sport betting site. Find the triggers and run away from it.

2. Replace what ever you ran away from with a new but beneficial task, You have to replace the habit that trigger your gambling addiction with a new neutral habit, that is fun, stress relieving and brain stimulating

3. Set systems in place to avoid relapsing, ever kind of addiction has a specify neural pathway in our brain which is not easy to untangle but it can become weaken and less impulse the more we get away from it but that doesn't mean we will just forget our addicting habit the more we walk away thus it much possible to relapse and fall back into our old habit. To avid that there must always be a contingency plan, to avoid relapsing, i am going to talk about the tool that will help with in this video.

If this is you or you know someone who doesn't gamble responsibly and needs quick help watch the video to get informed and share this video with people with the same issues. Thanks liking and dropping comment on this content will make it reach more people with the problems.

One major reason is because God cannot commit to the church more than the church commits to Him.

It's the measure one uses that would be used to measure back to him. Mark 4:24

Those in Bible committed everything, more or less, to God, hence God reciprocate the gesture and committed much to them.

But today it's very different as people in the churches, including the leaders, don't commit as much to God as they did in those days, hence God measures back sparingly to them.

God bless.

I understand why there shouldn't be a physical office of the first lady because the governor is voted in not the wife, but the comments here further solidifies why the average black man (not woman) is a failure and cannot compete with men from other races. They only know how to compete with their fellow black woman and cannot even compete with white women.

See them up there blaming the office of the first lady for failure of government to do his duties. The black man only knows how to blame others, he never takes responsibility for anything. All the looting and corruption that has been taking place since time immemorial, who has been doing it? That's the same way they blame the whites till today for making Africa the massive SHITHOLE that it is, are they not men like you? Why don't you pick up the pieces of your society and move on?? But you can't because most of you are COWARDS, who only have power when it comes to black women. Some of you are even saying that women don't deserve to be in government. Go to the western world you people are running to like slaves and come back and tell me what's happening there. Their society is working because of gender equality that's why the black man wants to travel there by all means. Meanwhile, Africa that has been ruled by men since time immemorial is still a massive SHITHOLE.

Education / Re: ASUU Strike and Misunderstood Struggle by africonn: 10:08pm On Feb 27, 2022
nigerianrevolut:
An anonymous lecturer wrote the article below.

You know the saying that you should never judge someone until you walk in their shoes? That was the case for me years ago. The name ASUU was synonymous with Iraq and Iran for me. The perceived similarity laid in the fact that I came into this world and heard of Iraq and Iran's incessant wars as well as ASUU's incessant strikes.

I had elder siblings and relatives in the university who always lamented about ASUU strike and how selfish members of the said organization were. In my little mind I conceived of ASUU as a paramilitary organization that had uniforms and were sent to deal with university students. As a primary school pupil, I started loosing sleep over what would be my lot when I finally got into the university.

Years later, I got into the university. My childish misconceptions about ASUU had cleared but what I couldn't fathom was why my lecturers looked impoverished. I couldn't reconcile the fact that a mere OMATA man wore better clothes, lived in better houses and neighbourhoods and drove better cars than a 'whole' university lecturer. I decided that the ASUU must have had a meeting where they made it binding on members to look modest. Perhaps it was their way of differentiating themselves from others as intellectuals. After all, I read somewhere that people with very high IQ don't usually bother themselves with looks. I was VERY SURE their renumeration was heavy so financial issues was totally out of it.

Once I was done with my tertiary education, my mind was set. I wanted to become a lecturer. No other job would do. I wasn't keen on other jobs I mean ' good ' jobs that came my way. I am intelligent, I love to read and I write well. More so, I have passion for teaching. I had the quintessential qualities of an academic and I would pursue my dream of being in the academia.

Marriage and kids happened and my career ambitions were placed on the back burner. As soon as I could help it, I purchased master's form and completed my studies in record time and with superb grades. I quickly purchased the PhD form and began my studies in earnest.
Then it happened. My heart desire was granted. I was employed at the prestigious university of Nigeria. To say I was elated would be for lack of any other word to convey what I felt the day I was handed my employment letter.

My disillusionment started thereafter. When I saw the net and gross pay for AL I screamed in shock. I was sure it was a typographical error and I dashed back to Mrs. Asogwa in personnel unit to point out the 'mistake' in my appointment letter. She kindly reassured me that it was no mistake.
I swallowed hard and concluded that maybe this was the one the school paid. Surely there must be some form of payments from the faculty and department. I remembered we paid faculty and departmental dues back in school. You know right? I was dreaming like one with a bad case of malaria.

The first salary came and I fell in to a bad bout of depression. While I was at it, older colleagues advised me to start writing 'papers'. According to them, the earlier the better. I was also advised to attend conferences and contribute to chapters in a book if I wanted to move to higher levels. I quickly beat my master's seminars into two rich journal article. I gave to my senior colleagues to read and correct.

As soon as I was ready, I matched into my HOD's office and handed him the articles well espoused in brown envelope. With a sense of accomplishment, I informed him that those were journal articles ready for publication. He was pleased and advised me to look for reputable journals that would publish it. I quickly sent them and in no distant time some agreed to publish it for a fee.
I went to my HOD, broke the good news to him and asked him if the publication fee would be directly paid by 'them' or if they would give me the money to make the payment myself. He looked at me like I was wearing my dress inside out. When he saw I was serious, he broke the sad news to me. I am to pay for my journal publications and any other publications for that matter and it is also up to me to pay for conferences.
My one month salary couldn't foot the bills for two publications and one conference attendance. Meanwhile I have three children to cater for, my school fees to pay, house rent to pay, my gas cylinder to refill, to mention but the basics. It dawned on me that I am done for.

Family and friends called on their 'a whole lecturer in UNN for that matter' to assist them once in awhile and she's not forthcoming. I'm labelled stingy. One day one stumbles upon my payslip and pities me. She asked me to resign that the job isn't worth it. I smile and tell her that our union is working on it and that God will pay me. Another came to Nsukka and I invited her to the cubicle where I am entitled to only a plastic chair without table. She repeatedly said tufiakwa! until she left.

I'm a member of ASUU, the union I once judged and condemned, the most misconceived union, the messaiahnic union that would rather it's members receive peanuts than allow children of the poor masses pay tuition fee. Everyday I come online I see those for whom we slave for condemn us. If only they know.... If only they realize that but for us, most of them won't be in school in the first place because their parents won't be able to afford the cost of university education for them.

It is well. Sooner than later, they would understand. Let me stop here before my data runs out, DORIME IS NOT FOR LECTURERS.

Sad story beautifully narrated story, me and marriage don fight, it's not easy being guys. Greater heights sir

Until Nigerians learn to thoroughly do their due diligence and do the needful, all these hungry police officers will always feed on them. Imagine that after this waste of money you must come back to do the needful. Otherwise, you become their cash cow.

Exactly, why i am writing this here as diary and a warning to others, don't joke with proper legal documents oo. This people aren't nice oo. this is where they see money to build house, buy cars and send there kids to school, and they will happily do it at the detriment of another person. 12k and a lot of time lost on the road for absolutely nothing, becareful transacting on jiji, after I got home, I thought the bike could have easily be a stolen vehicle but I know this isn't because if it's was the seller won't be there all through.
Crime / My Ordeal With Nigerian Police (criminals) by africonn: 2:21pm On Feb 22, 2022
I needed a bike, those rubber bike known as ladies bike. My budget couldn't reach a new one so I opt for farely used, very neat and within budget, I currently reside at a remote town in oyo state, I saw someone on jiji who lives at Ibadan. We spoke and reach to terms, not having much experience with vehicle purchase except bicycle, I took someone who is not that experience either but at least could drive the bike.

To cut the long story short, I learnt how to ride, which was surprisingly easy, though I am good with bicycle and manual transmission vehicles, i was about to return with the bike, we passed town, around bere and mapo, a police man stopped us. He ask for the papers, not having much experience with the stuff, I gladly showed him, he said the papers doesn't not prove I am the owner of the bike, that I am a third party.

After so many drags, he said he will take the bike to the station, i begged him with 500h, I said he wants 1k, he later accept the 500h. But told me to go the person who sold the stuff to me and for change of ownership and agreement, which I didn't think was necessary. What made it worse was the bike doesn't have plate number which was what attracted the policemen in the first place. After the settlement, I thank the man for accepting 500h grin grin funny right Omo I begged, Chai.

Just a few throttle away, we unfortunately jammed a senior officer DSP, very smart, cunning and wicked, the most merciless man I have seen this year. He looked through the papers and spot alot of errors the person who sold me the bike made on his own sworn affidavit, he said the person lied to the court of law by having sworn affidavit for proof of ownership instead of sworn affidavit for change of ownership, that's how Baba say make we go meet him boy after so much grammar. That one bill us 20k, I nearly cry. I negotiated under hot sun. The man was just using me to catch cruise wasted my time. He was busy looking for offence seizing other people's keys and billing people his status. I mean money he doesn't think much of. Like telling a cab driver to bring 20k, he was like sell your phone, call your people, I was just looking, a man that earns a lot at least for the Nigerian economy could be this wicked, calling motorist animals, embarrassing and disgracing people, mehn I was pained, I record as much as I could. He hid his force number under a reflective jacket and does all his evil work through his pot bellied boy grin. After much beg and suffer. I paid 7k cash to his boy, who holds the money, I thought this man is playing smart. Like I don't really have anything against thus the stunt he just pull is ILLEGAL but could not be used against him. Mehn broke man can not do shit here. After my bike was returned I calculated all the route without police man, thinking I would be free, if I can exit Ibadan.

I was successful at avoiding the policemen all joints, till I get to the motor park, cos the travelling road is very dangerous and I am not confident I could ride a bike on such dangerous tiny roads with heavy overtaking trucks. So I hired a big old model sienna, I put the bike in, I thought there wouldn't be any problems again, after a long run b4 Oyo, I was even asleep that's how comfortable I was, when I saw a policeman questioning the driver, 'who get bike and where are the papers'. I knew another wahala his brewing.

After showing the policeman the papers, he asked the driver to drop the bike and he should drive the rest of the passenger away, that I will go to where the seller of the bike was, call him and come and clarify some things on the papers, after long prolong insults and name calling, say the this is a stolen vehicle, that no body honours a receipt that could be printed anywhere, except court Signed papers, police reports etc. I realised my errors, and saw that I didn't do my due diligence.

The guys were so hot blooded. The senior officer there passed me to the junior one, that one just put it straight to me - 'should we drop the bike or you will do normal and we will over look it, cos this na stolen bike' oya choose one. I don't want them to prolong stuff and told them I had 2k. He was like are we hungry, na 10k we go collect or we are dropping this bike. When the driver saw I couldn't handle the negotiations, he start his own shakara, that he is leaving they should talk fast. Eventually he paid 4k which I refunded in the car. When we were leaving, I heard the junior officers grumbling that they hate when that there highway unit boss is around that he spoils market everytime for them. that if he wasn't there, I was paying nothing less that 20k patapata 10k after time wasting, I just shook my head in gratitude, I know I am at fault here and it would never happen again. I didn't do my due diligence.

What I just wrote here is a reminder of a not so sweet and stressing incident, what do you think, I tried to narrate it the way it happened.

I noticed something the first man that took money from me, I hated if I was handled a gun, I would pull the trigger, but the last. I just felt grateful letting me go.

I got to town, I gave street boys 500h. After that the rest was smooth, I will going back to Ibadan to do all the necessary ( since the seller is a really really nice person, He was there through the whole thing) do the necessary papers and register with the bike.

Through out this I dressed normal yet they will ask for money dey don't have, like everyone is a yahoo guy.

What would you have done?
Don't mess with these People they are very wicked people, broke with power === tyranny, just play by the rules and we go all dey alright las las
