The Police force command in Lagos on Tuesday paraded four suspected men who specialised in selling human parts to herbalists and ritualists.

The suspects confessed that human heads were sold for N8000, hands goes for N4000 and private parts are sold at N10,000.

The suspects were arrested by officers of Special Anti-Robbery squad of the Lagos state command in Oja-Odan and other areas of Owode -Yewa in Ogun state. See VIDEO after cut..

One of the suspects Agboola Kolawole, who blamed his indulgence on poverty and inability to pay his children’s school fees, disclosed that he had so far sold four heads of his deceased siblings to a herbalist, who in turn sold to some persons they identified simply as ‘Alhaji’s.’

Their arrest, according to the Command’s spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, followed a tip-off from the officer-in-charge of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja, Abba Kyari, that one of the suspects, Jamiu Adeleke, was at the verge of selling a human hand for N21,000.

According to a story in Encomium magazine, the family of former Liberian president and war crimes prisoner, Charles Taylor, have been ejected from their N2.5million per year rented mansion in Diamond Hills in Calabar, Cross Rivers state. The family he left behind in Calabar as he faced criminal charges in The Hague were ejected because they were unable to per their rent. The house belongs to Dr. Joseph Wayas, the Second Republic Senate President.

His wife and kids, who have since been abandoned by the former president's friends and business associates, now live in a small flat at the state housing estate along Murtala Mohammed highway in Calabar. No aides, no cruising of luxury cars, no partying, no money to spend lavishly. That's their new life now.
Charles Taylor was forced to resign as president and take up political asylum in Nigeria. He arrived Nigeria with his family on August 12, 2003 but was extradited in 2006 to stand trial for war crimes.

In 2012, he was found guilty of all 11 counts of "aiding and abetting" war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Who owns the car you post on your Instagram account?
It is actually a Chrysler 300, all pimped out. That is my recent baby. I call that car my baby because I love cars a lot. I got the car in 2012 and it cost me about N4m.

My next car is going to be very crazy, I am going for a monster truck. I’m just living my life like my mentor, Mudi. If you know him, he has crazy cars. You would just see his number plate on one flashy vintage car. Now he just got a 505, 1958 model, very crazy. I love crazy stuffs. I used to drive a vintage Ford. It is a pimped out Ford. It was just two of us that own that edition of Ford in the whole of Lagos. They know me with that car, it is like my brand. If you see that car, you will know that Yomi is coming. What I want to go for now is a monster truck; the ones with the really big tyres. I just want to make a statement with that truck."

How about your fiancé?
My childhood girlfriend, she knows me as Omoniyi Makun not Yomi Casual. We started the relationship in Warri. I am in a distant relationship. It is not easy but God has been helping me. She is from Warri, Delta State. She knew me when I started, when I was still an artist, then I used to do hand-made cards, signboards in Warri. We met one fateful day while it was raining. She helped me with an umbrella and that was how we met.

How come you are still together?
I still don’t know. She is not a very beautiful girl. You know Lagos, if you are a celebrity, you want to marry a very beautiful girl; a red carpet wife. My mentor told me, ‘Yomi, don’t follow Lagos people oo and say you want to marry a red carpet wife. There is a red carpet wife and there is the real wife’. I am not after a red carpet wife because with a red carpet wife, you don’t know what the man is facing inside the house. You see them outside looking all clean and you wish to be like them. When they get indoors and you see what the man is going through, you will not want to marry a beautiful girl. My fiancé is God-fearing, very wise, same age group.

Those who take alcohol will most likely find intimate sins attractive.
Some of them have as a result gone into incestuous intercourse with their daughters or relatives or even molestation. Alcohol makes one more vulnerable to intimate sins. If you were struggling with your flesh and you start taking alcohol, you will descend into a deeper level of bondage. Verse 33 of today's reading says,
"Thine eyes shall behold strange women and thine heart shall utter perverse things."

Some Christians will build their personal houses and instead of creating a prayer room there, they will have a bar where they will stock different kinds of wines. When you try to dissuade them, even their wives will rise up in their defence. Don't be surprised to find that they are already having mistresses outside, and if care is not taken, the strange women that are now more appealing to them may drive away their legitimate wife and take over. That shall not be your portion!

The truth is, any Christian sister who allows her husband to drink alcohol is simply setting the stage for strange things to happen in her home. Is your husband saying, 'It is just a little harmless sip once in a long while', remember a little occasional sip today will become an uncontrollable gush tomorrow. Be warned! In addition, having a bar in a Christian home completely negates the ethics of godliness. It is an invitation to the spirit of liquor to have its permanent abode in that house. That house will no longer have peace! Having a bar in your home is having an altar for Satan in that home. You can be sure that the Holy Spirit will simply step aside. Believers' homes should be identified by the serenity of the place and by the provision of a prayer room for God. You should have an altar where God will meet with you daily. If you don't, convert your bar or one of your rooms into such an altar for the King of kings today!

A man died in Lagos yesterday Friday 10th of May after he was crushed to death by a mast which fell off a 2-storey building.

Sympathizers thronged Marina Car Park, Lagos Island, where the communication mast crashed on the father of twins, 52-year-old Adeolu Adeleke, killing him instantly.

The deceased, popularly known as Baba Ibeji (Father of twins), according to eye witnesses and his colleagues who sell telephone accessories met his untimely death when he dashed across Marina Street to fetch a waterproof cover for his goods as it was about to rain but was crushed by the mast as he made his way back to his shade.

One of the people who witnessed the incident and a very close friend of the deceased said Adeleke, also known as Baba Ibeji, was warned not to enter the rain because of the strong wind but he refused.

“I told him to forget about the goods since the wind was blowing strongly, but he said he would hurry down there quickly not knowing that he will not return,” he said......

Eldest son of Prophet Timothy Obadare, the late founder of the World Soul Winning Evangelical Ministry, Dr. Paul Obadare, on Friday, stated that his father neither caused the crisis within the Christ Apostolic Church nor frustrated efforts to resolve it.

Obadare, who is also a pastor and president of the USA chapter of WOSEM, made the clarification during an interview with our correspondent against insinuations that his father allegedly frustrated all moves to reconcile the warring factions before his death last Thursday.

Obadare said he personally made a move to reconcile the factions when his father was alive.
He said, “We use this occasion to call for the unity of CAC worldwide in the tradition of our motto: one fold one shepherd.

“It is not true that my father caused the crisis within the CAC fold. In fact, his accusers were actually responsible and I made series of efforts, which were frustrated by some of the leaders.

“My father carried on his WOSEM as an evangelical arm of the CAC for many years and he submitted himself under the authority of the church, which he still did until he was called to glory.

“A lot of people were at peace with WOSEM activities and they requested for branches which were granted by my late father. Some leaders saw this as setting up of an independent church, which was not the case.
“The statement that my father caused the crisis is not correct. It is not a honest one. Before his death, baba had on many occasions sent letters to the authorities, seeking their understanding on the need to be in one accord.

“I also, on several occasions, have gone to meet the leaders when Baba Olusheye was the president. I have also gone to talk to the new president several times about solidarity and I pleaded with them to bury the hatchet and allow the CAC to move on as a united church.”
