Late Agidigbo’s creator, Fatai Rolling Dollar has been buried. The burial of the late Highlife music sage, Fatai Olagunju took place at his uncompleted building site in Ikorodu, Lagos state. Veterans like Ebenezer Obey, King Sunny Ade, Prince Adekunle led other musicians to receive his corpse from the hospital in Surulere.

According to information, Islamic prayer was made for him at his Oko- Oba Millennium Housing Estate, given to him by Lagos State former governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Shortly after, his remains was moved to Ikorodu axis where he was finally laid to rest.

Anyone who pays a reasonable amount of attention to tech news knew what would be Issue One at Facebook's first-ever shareholder meeting on Tuesday. And clearly the company's CEO Mark Zuckerberg saw the questions coming.
"We understand that a lot of people are disappointed in the performance of the stock, and we really are, too," he said in a statement at the start of the meeting.

Facebook has frustrated investors since its high-profile, high-value initial public offering. After a $38-per-share IPO in May 2012, the price of Facebook stock quickly plummeted. Today, it's trading below two-thirds of that price, at $24. That has meant a massive slide in the company's valuation, from $104 billion at its IPO to around $58 billion today.

Zuckerberg explained that while he's unhappy with the company's performance, he also takes a long-term view of the company's prospects and expects fluctuations in how the public views it.
Facebook has stabilized since its shaky start as a publicly traded business. In May it reported first-quarter revenues of nearly $1.5 billion, nearly 38 percent higher than revenues in the same quarter of 2012. On Tuesday, Zuckerberg also highlighted the growth of Facebook's mobile offerings and app development.

An obviously tired German bank employee fell asleep on his keyboard and accidentally transformed a minor transfer into a 222 million euro ($293 million) order, a court heard Monday.

The Hessen labour court heard that the man was supposed to transfer just 62.40 euros from a bank account belonging to a retiree, but instead "fell asleep for an instant, while pushing onto the number 2 key on the keyboard" -- making it a huge 222,222,222.22 euro order.

The bank discovered the mistake shortly afterwards and corrected the error.
The case was taken to court by the man's 48-year-old colleague who was fired for letting the mistake slip
through when verifying the order.

According to what tale-bearers, Ini Edo's in-laws are not happy that the glamorous actress hasn't given them a child after about four years of marriage.
"These Edo people are just too funny, they have already told Philip to chase away Ini Edo since she can't give them a child," one of the gossips told us

The Court of Appeal in Lagos, has overturned the ruling of a high court and quashed the N25million damages awarded to Nollywood actor, Babatunde Omidina, more popular as Baba Suwe.

The money was due to be paid to the actor, over his detention by the National Drug.Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), for allegedly ingesting hard drugs.

However, his lawyer, Bamidele Aturu, has stated that he would appeal the ruling.

There was riot in Igbariam campus in Anambra State University this morning. Heard things have died down a bit. According to unconfirmed reports which I am getting from students of the school, who are also sending in photos, armed robbers invaded the students' lodge last night to rob and they ended up shooting quite a few students. One student died last night, while another one who was shot died early this morning in the hospital.

Some students decided the best way to respond to the incident was to riot against the school and state government, blaming lack of security for their fellow students' deaths.

Students say they pay N135,000 per session for new students and 107,000 for old students and still don't have security or even a functioning hospital, plus no light! More Pics after cut...

The rioting students went on the streets insisting on speaking with Governor Peter Obi. The students calmed down after the school Vice Chancellor addressed them about an hour ago.

Since the relocation, her mum, who has been a very active member and President of the Catholic Women's Association Wing of the St. Louis Cathedral, Egbeda, has not been regular in the church though a family source said she has completed her tenure as the President and a fresh election brought in a new President. The mother now attends a church close to their Lekki home. The family now lives together as one and that really makes Genevieve happy.”

Until the movement the family has stayed the better part of their lives in Egbeda. Checks revealed that Genevieve actually started her career from 11, Olugbede Street, Egbeda, where she lived with her parents in one of the apartments in a four block of flats. As soon as she started having a rising profile, earned fatter cheques, and endorsements, she moved them to another place also in Egbeda six years ago. When Ini Edo's husband traveled out months back and left her behind in Nigeria to "do her thing" many didn't suspect anything was wrong as it is not unusual for a husband to leave his wife behind to attend to some business issues and return home.
