islamics: I know the age thing might not add up, but based on the angle you are coming that a 50 years old can't have a 40 years old is where I want to say this; There is a companion whose age difference with his son is reported as 11(Amr ibn Al-‘Aas and his son Abdullah ibn Amr Al-Aas). So, 50, 40 thing is feasible. If we are going to go by your claim it means Abdullah’s father had him at age 10, and then Abdullah himself lived up to 101 yrs of age. 2 highly improbable events. Using Set Theory, Improbable n Improbable = Impossible. 😂 |

I am talking about the 30 yr old lamba that you mixed in your previous post, only to disavow it in your next post. Oh wrong nau! Also we can’t really use the elder sister’s age to judge because they were half-sisters and had different mothers. Some of Robert De Niro’s children are decades apart in age. |

OasisX:

....let me correct/refute the underlined bro for knowledge and clarity sake.
The narrator is just one single person and his name is Hisham Ibn O'rwah Ibn al-Zubair who claimed narrating from Aisha. Guess what?! Aisha died on year 57 or year 58 after Hijra, while Hisham Ibn O'rwah was born in year 61 after Hijra. How can he claim narrating from her when she dies few years before his birth?
Hisham Ibn O'rwah is not an authentic narrator according to many Sunni scholars including Al-Soyooti who included his name with the list of Mudalliseen (those who mix and hide the reality in their narrations) (Asmaa' al- Mudalliseen). Other leading Sunni scholars like Malik Ibn Anas, Al-Midyani and many others refuse the narrations of Hishan Ibn O'rwah.
There are certain historic facts in Sunni books prove that the age of Aisha was between 20 to 30 or even more when her marriage with the Proohet (SAW) took place:
Note that elder Sister of Aisha, Asmaa' Bint Abi Bakr was born 27 years before the Bi'thah of the Prophet (SWT) (Majma' al-Zawa'id, V. 9, P. 260; Omdatul Qaari Fi Sharh Sahih Bukhari, V. 2, P. 93; al-Majma' al-Kaberi by Al-Tabarani , V. 24, P. 77 and many others].
This means that when the Prophet (SAW) migrated from Makkah to Madinah after 13 years, the age of Asmaa' Bint Abi Bakr was 40 years. As the of Aisha was few years (or maximum ten years) younger than her sister Asmaa', then the age of Aisha when the Prophet (SAW) migrated to Madina was not less than thirty years.
As the marriage took place two years after Hijra, then the age of Aisha was then more than thirty years.
Sunni scholars in Islamic Studies Centre in Cairo have refuted the widely spread narration about Aisha age and said that the age of Aisha when she got married to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was not less than 19 years. (Al-Yawm Al-Saabi' 10-10-2008). 19 years or 30 years? Ustaz please pick a struggle. |

GloriousGbola: And the ummah are unable to understand that times have changed and Islam does not have that political power any more. So they insist on importing and imposing their culture when they emigrate and pissing off their hosts. That is actually a good point. Political authority and religious authority have been intertwined right from the start. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 7:50am On Jun 30, 2024 |
BlueRayDick: I think one thing I noticed about Islam is that the Arabs tried as much as they could to infuse their culture into the religion.
They were successful to an extent that they passed some of the norms in their own traditional way to the religion such that u as a non Arab adopting the religion has to accept some of their traditional way of life that were alien to u prior to adopting the religion. Christianity didn’t have that much grip ; that’s why u see churches like African Church where known Oluwo’s ( traditional cultists ) have seat in the church .While there are traditionalists in Islam too, they are not too open about theirs . Yes. I think a major reason is because quite early into its existence Islam had political power and therefore when it expanded it was only natural for Arab culture to be exported as a by-product of the spread of Islam. The Christians on the other hand were on the receiving end of persecution for a few centuries before they got any real power, so by that time they had already added elements of Western culture into their way of life. One obvious example IMO is monogamy. |

BlueRayDick: When I was much younger I used to think only Christians have so many denominations with different doctrine that do not agree with each other despite believing in the same holy book.
It was much later as an adult I know the Muslims also have the same issue. Sometimes I will come across Islamic cleric videos online and u will see Tebliq, Sunnis, Shi'as, etc arguing for and against the Islamic cleric’s message .
I may be wrong o, but I don’t see the difference between two different Christian sects arguing over female wearing trousers and two different Islamic sects arguing about what Hadith A says and what Hadith B says Islam became divided even more quickly than Christianity, probably because temporal power was involved very early with them, unlike early Christians who had no power or riches to squabble over. |

GloriousGbola: that is pantami talking. he is likely a much bigger islamic scholar than you are. That actually buttresses Oasis point. Most Islamic scholars will give a "biased" opinion on something depending on their sect or even school of jurisprudence. A scholar quoting from a Hadith means he believes in that particular one. Another scholar can quote from a different Hadith that aligns more with his own position. |

5 goals in 9 minutes lol...I wonder wetin Wolfsburg dey do to concede 5 goals in 9 mins. Even 4 goals in 90 minuites is already daunting I agree. I am just saying VAR makes it doubly difficult. Firstly, the time it takes to go through the checks. Secondly, it is a momentum stopper. |

andrewbaba44: 5 goals in 9 minutes is hard oga ,Haaland cannot do that
Xavi Barcelona would have done that mourinho record ,too bad they won Laliga with 5 games to spare and starting conceding ,they ended up with 20 conceded goals That Lewandowski feat is going be nearly impossible to repeat in these times. 4 goals plus 4 goal celebrations PLUS 4 VAR checks, all before the 5th goal. Can't be done in 9 minutes IMO. |

This is what happens when one has anger management problems and also obsesses about winning an argument. Actually, drinking alcohol would have even worsened the situation because while posting all those videos he would have become drunk and lost control even more. What a simple OK doke would have solved has become a major issue now. My past experience working in Mental Health tells me that anger management problems and alcohol do not mix well. |

We ain't there, perhaps the wife was beating him violently with anything she could find. Cussing hell out of him until our man lost control.
Domestic Violence shouldn't tolerated but it ain't limited to women alone. Wife can commit domestic violence against husband too. No evidence of that bro. We can only go by what the man himself said. |
