BlueRayDick: The deed has already been done, the offender has been punished , he has apologized what else does he want ? Does he want to drink Rufai’s blood ?
I called him idiottt because I feel he was low on intelligence going by his post. He said “ there should be consequence for Rufai’s insolence “ …. What other consequence does he want when the law has already taken its course ?
And yes , he’s from Niger state .
Well i just noticed that with this political issue you dey quick yab people nowadays which is not usual for you. But who am i to judge? Me sef no get time for suegbe.
BlueRayDick: At this point I think some people are deliberately stupiiiid .
Rufai committed a traffic offence , he was rightly charged and he’s paid the fine that comes with conviction . Now he took a step further to apologize to people who expected him to act better being who he portrays himself to be in the public space ; but this buffoon below still has something unreasonable to say about his apology .
This idiottt going by his name is probably from Niger state where Bandits have taken over large areas of the state ; his governor has never apologized for failing the people , the dullard president Buhari has never apologized for failing the people of his state for not providing adequate security as the C-in-C ; yet Rufai Oseni’s apology is his problem ….. smh
This is erudite whataboutism. Your blood too dey these days. There was really no need to insult the guy like that especially since he has a point which you may or may not agree with. Talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words.
TrebleChamp: The guy matter don tire me sef, i don't know why they haven't sent him to the reserve team. He didn't report for Pre-season training, so has no business being in the first team this season. But Ten Hag knows best...
Sending him to the reserves will only make things worse. They have to use ogbon agba for this issue. This is not McTominay or Maguire. He can be disciplined internally but not to that level. You don't cut of your nose to spite your face.
BlueRayDick: Obi is definitely not book-smart ; he might be “other-smarts” but it seems book no be him way. I guess that explains why he keeps messing his speeches/interviews up with imaginary figures and statistics .
I used to have friends like that , they have head for a whole lot of good stuff, but when it comes to academics their head no dey always . Funny thing about such people is if u do mistake no go read well for exam and u ask them for help in exams, they will confidently tell u rubbish and u will thank them for it
Theflint1: Art courses can be quite difficult, wouldn't call Philosophy simple given its sometimes subjective nature and primary schools hire secondary school graduates so I'm pretty sure a third-class university graduate would do fine.
Let's call a spade a spade. A 3rd class University graduate is basically an olodo. It takes lots of determination and never-say-die attitude to sink to 3rd class.
And Arts courses are not more difficult than other courses.
He might be smart in business but that his 3rd class shows academically he is a dunderhead.
popizaino: What an insult,I would also have definitely left if undervalued this way.He did the right thing by working away. But what was the coach's role in all of this? Why didn't he persuade Perez that he was vital to his team success?
It’s like you don’t know Florentino Perez. Which manager can tell him what to do?
Even the Galacticos players themselves pleaded on Makelele’s behalf but Perez was not going to allow himself to be railroaded.
popizaino: I'm still on my knees begging for forgiveness sir. I was about to say DM should be called Makelele's role after watching this, but i quickly reminded myself that the role was already been named after him.
And he didn't leave Madrid because of a racist coach but cos he felt he was not appreciated compared to the flashier galacticos who were receiving bumper pay. I think the final straw that broke the camel's back was when Beckham arrived and was getting around 120k weekly which was in line with the other big boys Zidane, Figo, Raul, Ronaldo while Makelele was on 24k weekly.
The story goes that he found out about the wage gap on the pitch during preseason training and he walked off and refused to continue training. He then asked for a pay rise but Perez who was even back then the club president said he couldn't head the ball or pass more than 3 yards and so didn't deserve a mega salary like the galacticos.
You'll think he's the only Saint in the Country. He sabi rant nonsense on AriseTV eh. Wike is cooking better breakfast for Abati right now.
Tundun don collect, she don humble small.
You see why the country be as e be?
Shebi this is one of the freedom fighters. Maybe the leaders wrecked the country in the 70s and 80s but now it is citizens who are producing wretched leaders.
popizaino: Father lord forgive me for ever thinking Kante was close to this guy. The coach that sold this guy from real Madrid must be a fuckin racist.
Hehehe. That time if people argued about it you guys will think we were dissing a current Chelsea player. The cerebral level at which Makelele played that CDM position is not easy to match.
I can't name any CDM that i watched that is definitively better in totality and i am pretty confident none of the ones i watched was better defensively.
Let me also add that the AKs are cheaper when compared to Tavors and this will continue to influence it's popularity when added to it's simplicity and durability. However, the Tavors are lighter in weight and superior when comes to efficiency and night use in addition to the ones you mentioned above.
patrickmuf: Saying a player is erratic in possession is not being too hard on him. The players who still pose good numbers yet are not so erratic, no be human beings them be?
You can point out the flaws in players or managers you don't like but you're quick to label a fan base as toxic just because it about your favorite...
Go and see how Madrid fans behave...Bale was at the receiving end...
Visit Chelsea thread and see how they take Jorginho to the cleaners whenever he plays back...
If you know any Liverpool fan, ask him about Hendo when he was first signed and the reaction of Liverpool fans to his early horrible displays...
He has a point though. Our fans take it to the next level and are unnecessarily divisive.
Most Martial fans then used to attack Rashford for any little mistake and vice versa. When Bruno got here most Pogba fans automatically hated him and most Pogba critics immediately became his Stans.
It might exist to a certain level at other clubs but we take it to pantomime levels. Hatred for the sake of hatred.
...... just wanna show you they know better coz its their profession.
That does not prove anything bros. The same Toyota that makes durable cars also makes faulty cars that will be recalled. Nobody is infallible. The most advanced military sometimes make mistakes in terms of production of armaments not to talk of a cottage industry in Nigeria.
Instead of analysing that particular vehicle and telling us exactly how it would be effective in the war against terrorism in Nigeria you are showing us videos of a different vehicle.
Expert17: I understand your point perfectly, the bolded part is similar to how Bruno's contract was reviewed and upgraded some months ago.
The agent and player are aware of the figures earned by average players at United- Shaw, Jones, Lingard, Martial, Rashford, etc... so I don't see them accepting 50k for a player who was balling so well in Portugal.
That is where negotiation skill and not being desperate (or not appearing desperate) comes in. Where else will he get 50-60k weekly and the social media/endorsement exposure that comes with playing for Man Utd? And if he still refuses you forget him and get someone else. After a while players and agents will know not to ask for ridiculous wages.
ChristineC: we are saying the same thing, only in revised grammar. if you are a United executive and you approach me with a contract that will give me an opportunity to compete for a starting position in your team, I can look at the average wage in your establishment and make a salary demand. moreso, if I see a salary of Phil Jones, a man everybody knows hasn't kicked a ball for more than 100mins in the last 4 years... then how can I be expected to agree to a lesser wage?
This theory works when the United executive is a dunderhead with no negotiation skills because…….
Expert17: Tuazebe is on 50k. Shaw 150k. Dalot 65k AWB 90k Van De Beek moved from 40k to 120k.
You don't expect the hottest LB in Portuguese Liga that was meant to be our 1st choice to accept a 50k contract.
So he is yet another bad deal in a catalogue of bad deals. But saying he was a good deal? Fa fa fa foul.
If we continue signing players with that mindset of because Player X is on this amount then incoming Player Y must get this amount we will never clear the bad contracts.
Imagine Malacia asking for 90k because useless Telles is on 78k. Meanwhile Malacia’s contract back home was 7.5 k.
ChristineC: you should also remember we signed him for £15m and another ~£20m spread to cover his salary over 4 years. again what you said makes sense but I prefer the bird view. if there is to be a squad wage review it needs to start from the top. we shouldn't have a player earning above £300k and one earning £30k in the same first team. I don't know how others may view it but there needs to be reasonable differences which are subject to review based on performances. if a player is so poor as cannot be reflected on his wages then he should be sold, no options. look at Phil Jones for example. how can United sign any player for the first team and offer him wages lower than Phil Jones? it isn't rational in any way.
It should start from everywhere not only the top. It is the main reason we struggle to offload players, and your Phil Jones example is even faulty. You can't compound one mistake by making another mistake.
So in order to correct the mistake we made by offering Phil Jones 75k weekly we should then make another mistake by offering any new player we buy a higher salary than Jones's 75k salary even if that player is really worth only 40k? Have you ever heard 2 wrongs do not make a right?
Expert17: 78k // 5 years contract for a player that was supposed to be our first-choice LB is/was not a bad deal.
He was on 25k in his former club and it was not like there was a bidding war for him. Double his salary and give him 50k. not 78k. Supposed to be is still a risk. Give him 50k and after 2 years of balling you can upgrade him to 100k sef if he is worth it.
He is not the only one. Our squad is littered with mediocre players on huge salaries. That is why we always struggle to offload players, it is not because other clubs have a conspiracy against United.
ChristineC: for £78k weekly? any club asking for some sort of rebate on this salary is not serious to sign him. I'd rather we keep him.
He was on 25k weekly at Porto. Why did we multiply his salary by 3 just like that. He should not be getting anything more than 50k so those potential buyers are being smart. He is at best a squad player for a top team or a starter for mid-level team, and he is a full back not a striker.
Zinchenko was on 59k weekly at City with their Arab money and Telles is siphoning 78k at United.
patrickmuf: Those clubs won't pay Telles what he earns at United so, it will be difficult for us to sell unless we sell for a ridiculously low fee or at best send him out on loan and take responsibility for half of his wages as is being muted here...
The evil that Woodward did lives after him. Bruv was handing out huge contracts like Jerome Udoji.
Ellexy: Boggles the mind how he was performing at a high level in Ajax but can't seem to do the basics here.
He was not really performing at a high level. He was just OK in a very good system. When he was at Ajax i noted here that his passing numbers were low for a CM in a possession based side. He does not get involved in midfield play enough and he has always been like that.
Leyqute: Ethan Laird doesn’t seem to offer more than Dalot going forward- from what I’ve seen this preseason. But his defensive abilities is way better than Dalot’s though.
And maybe he just needs to play with the first team to properly gauge his performance .
Laird is better than Dalot going forward. Sure me die. It is defensively that i have worries cos he sometimes switches off but going forward let him play 2-3 games with Sancho first and maintain fitness.
