Do we have good Academy players that can replace these two?The one our coach are ignoring?.where is kone?
Kone just returned from injury but he is playing quite well. It seems Jack Fletcher is the one chosen for now. He is normally a 10 but can possibly do a job in CM if paired with a more defensive player.
The club can also recall Dan Gore or Collyer from their loans.

Amass is doing very well on loan. The initial loan expires in January, so the club will have to make a decision on whether to recall him to compete with Dorgu or to extend the loan. Mantato has an outside shot but probably still not physically ready this season.

Buying of potential hoping they will metamorphose into world class players shud stop.ls not working for us.Ugarte and Dorgu v no business in that team. Academy players shud replace them. They can't do worse
The problem is not the buying of potential but buying players with OBVIOUS irredeemable flaws.

It is either the scouts of the technical people sanctioning the deals. Or it could be both. They need to do better with player evaluation and take talent ID.

Ugarte and to a lesser extent Dorgu have flaws that can’t be fixed. Obvious to anyone who spent time to study them but we somehow missed it.

PSG tossed Ugarte out after 1 season but watch how we will keep him for 3-4 seasons while he keeps stinking up the joint.

And I agree that we have academy players that will do a better job.

Yes, he was but the difference is that he wasn't under the spotlight. I thought the move to Manchester United would see him become more of a team player but the evidence thus far suggests otherwise...

You can see how Pep is trying to manage Cherki with his subtle criticism of his overshowboating. I expect Amorim to be in Cunha's ears telling him to play more with those around him.
It is disgusting. It is not winning football.

Case and Martinez may not work doc, Case cannot play CM effectively. Unless the Manager decide to try a new system of 3 midfielders.
I know it is tricky, but Ugarte and Lothar Matthaus won't work. cry

That is what ETH told us. grin grin grin

Next game we could try Casemiro and Martinez there. It might offer more protection for the defence although our press might not be as effective. Anything to keep Ugarte off the pitch.

Yoro was the major reason we lost this game. He is young and inexperienced, but the same player should not score on you twice with the same move.

Cunha should learn to pass the ball. Lacey was free, but he managed to run with the ball close to him before he was tackled, and the ball was recovered by Lacey. A quick pass should have had Lacey in space to do some damage...
The talent is there but the guy plays like he has never been coached before. Was he like this at Wolves?

Michael Oliver is the ref.

With Ugarte as a possible short 1, Aston Villa will be playing 12 against 10.

I am not too proud a patrician swollen with vanity that i would scorn to share wine with you.

Yet before drink is poured, reveal yourself truly. What is your gens and to which faction do you swear fealty, populares who court the roaring mob, or optimates who hold on to the old rights.

Declare yourself plainly as friend or foe, so that no shadowed hand may tip treacherous draught into our cups, and we may drink as men of honour, not as wary wolves in the night.

Jupiter’s cock! Behold this pair of unworthy plebs, and mere pretenders to eloquence, grasping at words of elevated station as a child reaches for fruit beyond grasp.

You plebs grasp futilely at the tongue of true patricians, your words falling short as a slave’s reach for freedom denied. Please speak absent deceit, or see tongue removed from mouth.

I understand u and naturally I act like a humble person who avoids trouble at all cost even when I’m provoked .

However , there’s a limit to which one’s gentleness will last I mean the Lexus driver remained calm and didn’t give room for the guy on foot to escalate things but still he ended up throwing such a huge rock at the windscreen to over escalate the matter .

I doubt the most humble person on this thread will be able to hold his anger at that point . It will take super extra divine intervention to hold ur anger at that point . Even for someone who has comprehensive insurance that covers that kind of malicious damage , u go still wan deal with the attacker make him body for tell am .
Don't engage in physical altercation no matter what. People underestimate how easy it is to die or how easy it is to kill someone.

The best you can do and the worst you should do is to show your Lexus ownership and lock him up.

Today it might be difficult for most CMDs to do that, but around those 2006 Dem, which was one of the examples given, it was common to see fresh medical grads doing housmanship getting like 150K per month, and this came to around $1,000.

I'm sure your CMD from that era would have been taking like 500K per month (plus allowances) that's around $3,000, his two months salary would comfortably pay for a semesters tuition, plus small upkeep money for a child in the UK, or other European countries.

So that people could take their kids abroad less than two decades ago isn't automatically sign that they were corrupt or stealing from the government...these things were a lot easier to manage then.
Lambastic lamba. Common ke?

It was 60-90k and in most hospitals more likely to be closer to 60k than 90k.

In 2011, a CMD would have been earning around 7.5M per year from private and personal practice, which would come to around 50K USD. From that money he'd have been able to sustain two kids in the higher institution in many parts of Europe, and some parts of the USA.

School fees for both kids 12K per year
Living expenses for both kids 18K per year
(flight was typically twice, once at the beginning of their program, and another at the end of their 4 year program, so that's miscellaneous).

The CMD would have still had 20K USD (about 3M then) to guide in Nigeria.

Mr Faruk was accused of spending the equivalent of 300M per year on his children's school fees, while on a salary of 50M per year...there's no Math you want to solve that'd explain how he's able to do that through his salary.

You could have criticized Mr Faruk for being corrupt and living way above his income without using it as an opportunity to resurrect an Akamu argument you made some time in the past, but alas grin
Most of the figures you are using are wrong.

Whether 2006 or 2011 no CMD could have sent 2 kids to the US or to Europe for university studies from his salary.

The thing with these career civil servants is that some of them are very corrupt and they will frustrate every govt agency with bureaucracy

Good thing Dangote has enough clout to call him out and get a reaction from the top

Another thing I thought about is if he wasn't a fellow Northerner it might be difficult to pull out
Corrupt civil servants bleed the country as much as , if not more than politicians.

There are thousands of them all over the country guzzling public funds in copious amounts and most of them will never have their names in the papers once not to talk of the public knowing who they are.
