The team build up has been faulty for years and we have kept on buying the wrong players.

There are limits to what a coach can do to improve players. You can’t give what you don’t have.

If you ever watched McTom as a youth player in detail you won’t be saying this.
He is improving in his own lane. Imposing himself physically, developing the vision and skill to switch play from wing to wing(not thread Fabregas through passes), making lung bursting runs into space when the opportunity arises.

It’s just like those of you that are blaming the team’s set up for AWB’s cluelessness going forward and expect that one day he will become the 2nd coming of Dani Alves.

When I see changes in that player movement on and off the ball, decision making, etc. That is something that the player was not known for ever before. Not like he lost form or trying to adjust to a new team and players. For example Sterling wasn't prolific before, you get the gist
