hoopLA: Afrodoc2 with tha hip hop flavor. I was thinking of playing Alpha Blondie and Sweet Sweet Fanta Dialo. But this jam reset my brain. Correct guy
Dylan Levitt is a talent. Really hope they build his body so that he can adapt to the EPL without losing his talent.
That boy has a good vision and his passing intelligence is impressive.
That is why some months ago i expressed my surprise at the fact that he appeared to have been overlooked with all the hype going to the usual suspects (Greenwood, Gomes, Chong, Garner).
In terms of passing he is the best of the lot, and to be honest i expected more from him yesterday. He showed his press resistance and possession play ability but he didn’t really show his long range passing ability (maybe because Astana sat so deep most of the time).
Like Rashford and McTominay (who were not really hyped at youth level) have shown us, it is hard to predict which youth player will make it to the senior team. With so many potential players with this set though it will be a travesty if none of them does.
A40: Getting dropped is not a problem if you can get up for the count which AJ has repeatedly shown. The key is his defense, his defense is his albatross for now
If old man Ortiz could daze Wilder then a younger fighter with real KO power can do even worse. Wilder has not fought anybody with AJ's kinda power.
A jab exponent will hope to win with a decision but with Wilder at some point you're going to have to force the issue if you want to win decisively at least. If you don't put him away he will put you away. And no matter how good your chin is this is the Heavyweights, someone is going to drop you if you don't drop them
It is an interesting proposition, however you are forgetting that AJ has never faced anyone with Wilder's power too. The summary is that Wilder has a more powerful punch and a tougher chin than AJ.
I would love to have the situation that existed in the 70s when everybody fought everybody. Wilder, AJ, Fury, Ortiz, Ruiz et al should all be facing each other on the regular.
Dream scenario would be Wilder beats Fury, AJ beats Ruiz and the winners meet next year. Ortiz can go and fight Dilian Whyte lol.
A40: Exactly. No way that fight is going the distance. I know for sure Wilder will not get away with any slow start because AJ has actual power to put Wilder to bed. It will now be a case of if AJ can avoid getting caught himself
My only qualms with AJ is after getting dropped he didn't fight his way back into the game. He got up multiple times so I don't fault his heart and effort. He was clearly disoriented and his defense gave him no chance
There is nothing you can do about a dodgy chin but if he worked on his head movement and guard he can beat anybody. I'm really rooting for him in this rematch
Wilder vs AJ does not favour AJ at all. He has been dropped by people with half Wilder’s power.
A jab exponent with a granite chin is the best bet against Wilder.
eph12: What are the chances of them making it elsewhere?
Chong is a winger/WF who has the potential to grow physically and become more mature so there will always be a market for someone like him in most teams.
Gomes needs to go into the perfect situation in order to succeed. He is the better footballer but his lack of size is an obstacle he needs to get over.
He is the fat guy who twerked from Chelshit to Real Madrid this summer. Yes that one with potbelly who keeps dancing while his junior colleagues score goals.
