Chelsea should come for him then.... To replace Hazard after leaving for Madrid in the Summer.
Na only China fit save us from that Sanchez contract. This current Sanchez should be paying the club not the other way round.

Naso you trust this Dalot guy for the RB. huh
For me, not yet
He is not the finished product and still has some defensive lapses. But I am talking long term not immediately.
I would go for an established RB like Meunier right now. This would give Dalot 1-2 years to develop.

Sancho ticks all the right boxes for me.

He's English and home grown. Also signing him is guaranteed to piss City off grin grin

Sancho, Rashford, Martial and Pogba running at you at the same time will make even the most dogged of defenders cringe and cower.

I do not think 100M is to much, after all Ousmane Dembele with nearly the same skill-set went for 120 going to 140. If we could get Sancho, I think we are basically set for the next 8 years on attack.
Pissing other clubs should be the least of our worries.
We did it with Fred, Sanchez and it has not worked out well.
Having said that Martial, Pogba, Sancho with Rashford at CF will be a great force.

That Dembele vs Sancho comparison is very interesting. I happen to think Dembele is the more skilled one, but i can see why others might disagree.

Is £100m not too much for him?!
In my opinion it is, but in this era of inflated fees if you don't pay it someone else will.

And according to so many people here "is it our money"? They should spend the money on good talent and take the club back to the top.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 12:53pm On Mar 03, 2019
Sancho is the logical guy for the RW. If you play Sancho in front of Dalot opposition left backs will be feigning injury to avoid playing us.

United is also linked to a 21yrs old Winger..... Steven Bergwijn as well as £100m rated jadon Sancho.

..... But honestly I prefer Douglas Costa to Jadon Sancho, coz the latter is more or less a LW as well.
No o. Sancho can play both LW and RW and he has played almost exclusively as a RW this season for Dortmund.

Transfers Rumor

United have reportedly identified Ivan Rakitic (Barcelona), Kalodou Kouloibaly (Napoli) and Aaron Wan Bissaka (Crystal Palace as their summer transfer targets.
Dem don start again. 2 of these targets make no sense.

Rakitic will be 31 before next season. At that age players dey wreck overnight. There is no point bringing someone barely older than Dalot to compete with him in that position, especially not AWB who is too defensive in my opinion.

I used to see one Olasunde or Olatunde in the U-23. Don’t know if he’s still playing regularly or not.
Olosunde is an American born Naija RB. I don't really rate him that highly. He has been superseded by better players younger than him.
Laird, Williams, O'Connor are all better in my opinion.

Does Kieran McKenna have something to do with the success of the U-18s?

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/11585061/who-is-kieran-mckenna-manchester-united-coach-taking-training-with-michael-carrick

Maybe he can help with the transition of these younguns into first team football.
It should not even be up for debate. McKenna is the most important reason they all progressed so well, and he is a big factor in the belief that the coaching staff have in them.
If they are going to be integrated successfully McKenna will be key.

Can the coaches successfully facilitate the transition to the senior team?

It's been a whiile we've had a good head coach who will play good football and develop youth players.
They can. Gomes, Garner and Greenwood are highly favored by the coaching staff and the hierarchy. They are English, homegrown and will be given as much opportunity as possible to succeed.

I believe there is a subtle bias in favor of English players in the youth team, but it is so nuanced you might not notice it.

In terms of facilitating Gomes transition i think he should finish this year in the under 23, and then possibly go on a well chosen loan next season and by 2020 he would be ready for to make the team.

Its not hard to do. During the last days of Mourinho when i wanted to watch good football i watched the under 18 team with Greenwood, Garner, Gomes, Chong. It was far easier than watching Mourinho's team.

Actually i think it is the ones that religiously watched Mourinho's United that deserve the praise and salute. Watching the under 18 team last year was no stress at all.

If he remains consistent he could turn out to be a “little lion”; those AMs who collect the ball in tight spaces and thread dangerous through passes.

Maybe in a year or two he’ll grow taller and wow us all.
He has excellent technique and touch and a good passing range, but guy is so small Mata looks like a giant beside him.

The good thing is that they have they finally realized and decided to move him to midfield before he got to the senior team. Lets hope its not too late because its a problem they should have seen ahead of time.

Shoretire our best under 16 player is another smallie. If they waste that one's developmental years playing him in attack as well that might be another potential waste.

The guy needs mental health intervention. I read that he was once banned for 12 matches for breaking a defender’s leg in 2 places.

This is a valid point. I think with Wilder it's a case of whatever happens e sure for me that I can knock you out so. However at the initial stage I'm sure he must have thought Fury would be an easy fight. Else he would be more cautious of accepting it! He was lucky Fury lacks Knockout Power

With AJ I think it's a bit of calculation not fear. It also doesn't help that he has a manager that is all about securing the bag without care for the legacy.

Even though Hearn can sell oil to Arabs I want to give him the benefit of a doubt that he really tried to set up the Wilder fight. He has seen the reaction to the Wilder-Fury fight and knows that he missed out on a fat payday. This explains why he is taking him all the way to America to fight Big Baby Miller to try and improve AJ's stock, which definitely fell after that fight

Lool it's easy for Fury to be fearless because he has the least to lose.

If I'm AJ I want no business with Fury till I fight Wilder. Not out of fear really but because it makes the most sense after all of all 3 fighters AJ has fought and beaten the better opponents

All in all I still think two of these three are definitely going to fight this year
Lol. Hearn is a glorified street hustler. A proper weasel and he looks the part. No amount of faux polish can hide the man’s sliminess, but he is good at what he does.

Wilder will be a stylistically better fight for AJ. I

Dude is 5ft3. He needs grit and a bigger frame to cut it out in the EPL. Even Rashford gets knocked over like ping pong by EPL defenders sometimes with the ref watching like its Netflix.
If he had blistering pace he might have continued in attack like he did in his youth career, but although he is not slow he is not a speedster either.

So we have a player who prefers to hold the ball and run with it who lacks size and speed.

Luckily for him he has excellent technique and is a good passer of the ball as well, hence they have been trying to reinvent him as a central midfielder in the under 23s.

I was happy seeing the young man warm up, only to see us concede, I just knew he was never coming on again.
Garner and Greenwood despite being the youngest are probably the most ready.
Chong is skinny and I watched an under 23 game recently that the only thing the defenders did not do was bring AK to shoot him, and the ref was looking like a dendemoron.

Gomes on his part seems to have stagnated a bit in his development. And that was my fear with him. With his small size if he does not adapt his game he won’t make it at the top level.
