TravelCousin's Visa...being Held By Agent by Afroprince(op): 6:35pm On Feb 04, 2017
My cousin was successful recently for his visa to America, an agent that helped said he will pay N1.2m before he gives him his passport...he booked hotel and helped with ban statement but no fee was agreed only for him to be told after he was granted, the agent collected his signed white paper for visa collection. The visa should be out by Thursday, how can he ensure the visa does not go to the agent first since it hasn't left the Embassy yet! Please give him a useful solution if you can 'cos this will lead to blackmail if the agent gets the visa before him...pls advice cos the money was not not discussed initially?

TravelRe: Tbilisi, Georgia by Afroprince(m): 9:10pm On Jan 07, 2016
Nice one - So how do students cope since there are no jobs in Georgia?

Secondly, i heard they've been turning back a lot of Nigerian students since most Nigerians coming into Georgia aint coming to study, is it still wise to come over. Lastly, if i wanna come visit for like 2 weeks, how do i go about it?

BusinessRe: Ex-bankers: How Is Life Outside Banking? by Afroprince(m): 11:42am On Nov 04, 2013
Wow! i feel your pain bro! did banking for 4 years and i dreaded each day i woke up! I was scared to go to work each day cos i couldn't predict when i will come back home...banking is not for everyone certainly it was not for me but i was also scared to leave the job & scared of the unknown cos i felt i was well paid. The first month of my new job, i felt like i made a mistake cos i get paid on the last day of month unlike bankers who get paid before 25th of every month but with time i adjusted. I can tell u for free that leaving banking was the best decision i made in my life but i owe a lot to banking cos i became better and smarter due to the experience i had while working there. I changed to the job that i have always loved, i make less money anyways but happier , have more time for myself, suffer less from High BP and i think i am more focused cos soon i am gonna be my own boss!!! By the way i run a music company now...DJ Service, Radio Music promos, Record Label and i am also an OAP, won so many awards already and i am looking for other ways i can make money from the brand i am creating for myself!!!

TravelRe: Guys And Gals In Libya Lets Meet Here. by Afroprince(m): 7:06am On Jul 26, 2013
texaco1: Dem no dey tell persin,na you go see am for urself .
Mario who is there has said it that you will have to come and see the risks for urself .bon voyage
I dont intend going to Libya, not in my dreams but if you are in a public forum to educate and you cant relay a simple info for intending travelers then u r being so unfair. If there is a risk then say it so that people can weigh their options and make decisions if they can bear the risk...do the right thing
TravelRe: Guys And Gals In Libya Lets Meet Here. by Afroprince(m): 8:36am On Jul 25, 2013
Ok guys...u mentioned that there is a risk but ya did not mention the kind of risk...Can you enlighten the house please? I know Tripoli used to be a very beautiful city and i know a lot of Nigerians trooped into Libya to migrate to Malta? So what are the risks post-Ghadaffi?

Igwe i greet u o! All the palace council i also hail all of you! I spent almost 22hrs reading from page 1 - 87 of this thread and i am happy to tell you guys that i have graduated finally lol! reading this thread has been like a movie so far as i have a vivid picture of all the characters in this palace. Initially when Justwise recommended this thread and closed mine i was angry but i must confess its been worth it! Infact my wife asked me yesterday if i were reading for an exam...lol!

I am coming to Dubai for just 10 nights for vacation but after reading this thread i have decided to use somedays as a job verification tour as well. I am a radio presenter/DJ, i sing too and have won many national radio awards already and i am thinking if one can get a media job in Dubai? I have been to Dubai twice and i have never considered living there but this thread has awakened a sudden interest in me to maybe someday relocate to Dubai with my family!!! I would love to meet our palace members in Dubai when i arrive and also use style and try if i can get something there although i have a good job here in Nigeria but its been hard settling back in this country after my last sojourn living abroad.

So any ideas of where i can start searching or what i should be doing from Nigeria before my arrival on August 20? Do they have good recruiting agencies one can drop off CVs in Dubai? I do not need help on how to come or where to stay as i have arranged all that...i simply need leads for media jobs specifically either radio, tv or any advertising firm as i am good in media planning and buying as well as outdoor advertising proper.

I hope to hear from the wise palace council members or anyone who has solid info on my request. May your days be long my people...One love

Hi guys, is anyone traveling to Dubai or Abu Dhabi this August? Let's meet up if you don't mind...I would wanna know if anyone has lodged in Al Manar Hotel Apartment before? I need to know the hotel ratings from fellow Africans, seen a lot of reviews already on Trip Advisor and its kinda conflicting, so i would welcome reviews from anyone that has had an experience with the hotel already.

Will be traveling in late August and this will be my 3rd trip to Dubai...so let's share ideas or hook up over there if you are game...Hope to get some timely and matured comments on here, Stay Blessed!!!
