This thread is for those who want to pursue a career in academics. This forum would discuss common issues and what prospective lecturers should do. I am in quite a delimma. I graduated from UNN and hope to do my Msc in Unilag. My worry is my chances of getting a lecturership position in unilag after my programme. What do i do? Go back to my school or brave the odds? |

Dumb fools. Why can't we put our religious differences and see the health benefits? Besides why didn't the churches attend the meeting with the state govt? Even Jesus paid taxes i.e he abided by the rules. Religious leaders shld knw better. |

My prob is getting the product to those that need it. Also considering the numerous pple who are into the biz now, do u still think there is still money to be made or i shl continue the biz on a part-time low-key basis |
Please i would like to know how profitable making jewelry with beads is in Nigeria. I am a jeweler, but have not been able to make any breakthrough in terms of marketing and patronage |

It seems the most 'civilized' pple are the most foolish. Comparable to the sheep that would follow the master to the slaughter house. Homosexuality natural? Give me a break. For all i care, u scoundrels can burn in the hottest part of hell. Very soon, pple wd soon start agitating for beastiality, saying itz natural |
Plese do any grad schools admit in feb? And also how long does the validity of GRE last? |
When would the youth of Africa get their chance? Rulership on the basis of age, rather than merit is killing us. http://nubianscripts..com/2012/01/gerontocracy-bane-of-effective.html |

The boko haram are just paving the way for american occupation, just the way john the baptist paved the way for jesus. Boko haram is nothing but a CIA funded group used to create an excuse for military occupation, and trust me when they come, they ain't going back. Ask libya, ask Iraq, ask Afganistan The Americans and the CIA are the real terrorists. |
Seriously i am beginning to see this nairaland as a sham. Putting posts that would pitch xtians against themselves and muslims. Posts that fuel ethnicity make the front page. I think the OPs better reorientate themselves. |

Please does it mean that non-fiction does not sell in Nigeria or Africa? All the books mentioned are all fiction, thriller etc, itz scary for non-fiction writers like us |
Does this post warrant front page? Sometimes op use ur barin and stop heating the over-heated polity |

If we don't fight now, we would be cursed by our children. They have eaten our fruits, they now want to attack the fruits meant for our children. http://nubianscripts..com/2012/01/our-fathers-have-failed-us-but-our.html |
These ACN shld shut up. Who is worse, them or the FG? |
Abeg plz ignore this silwabuka. Commenting on his baseless posts is just what he wants. He is attention starved, let's forget him. |
Based on ur responses, i don't think any of you deserves an appointment with any of these organisations. Someone asked a question, you cows reponded by sending emails (shaking head). Too bad |
@librangyps: plz can u name an igbo man that is in the cabal? Who wanted to twist the constituion in his favour for the third term? Who erected 3 toll gates in a single road and cajoled the pple to pay for 30yrs? U are just blinded by tribal sentiments. Everyone knows yorubas are cowards and cheats. Ewu |
Where were ur elders when the nationalist cause and push 4 independence was been fought for? Was it not awolowo that entrenched ethnicism when he single handedly prevented azikiwe from winning in the western house of parliament? And who were the sabotuers when the civil war which started as a revolution to cleanse corrupt politicians from the nigerian polity? U better get ur facts right b4 coming here to expose ur deeply entrenched ignorance. Apa amu |
Defining what should qualify as African literature is creating rancour. Most annoying most of what is termed african literature are negative stories about the continent. Also can we define a literature as being african when it is written in foreign languages? What of literature from north africa, do they qualify as african or arab literature? Many questions. http://nubianscripts..com/2012/12/defining-what-african-literature-means.html |
