But he’s in a great position in this administration to prevent this from continuing. What has he done to help except pass along the blame? |

They “sang” the national anthem. (Past tense) They’ve “sung” the national anthem. (Past participle) |
helinues:When has mathematics ever factored in elections. Where was the structure when Jonathan lost? Abeg shift. |
heendrix:What if he (Obi) doesn’t bother trying to reconcile them but instead plays on their self preservation by giving them appointments? Appointments that are not sure for them (especially Wike) after their respective primaries. |
What do you think? |
When looking at the makeup of the two biggest parties APC and PDP, it’s easy to see the big boys that have been maintaining cohesion and providing the operation monies for each party. In the case of APC, that would be ROTIMI AMECHI, while in the case of PDP we have NYESOM WIKE. These individuals have both been slighted by their individual parties. Both suffered defeat at their primaries at hands of the ‘elites’. However, this presents a unique opportunity for Peter Obi if only he can make the necessary moves to reach out to these individuals separately and possibly unite them against a perceived Northern/Muslim front as all three men (Obi, Amechi, and Wike) share more similarities than any other person in all three parties. Three of them are from the south, they are all former governors, and Christians. These could be the selling points for the movement if it gets started. Finally, both Amechi and Wike are invaluable in their individual parties, Wike has been a cornerstone in PDP’s cohesion in these past few years while Amechi is APC’s go-to campaign manager and war chest holder. Poaching these two men into the Labour Party will be a strategic move unlike any other. In one move weakening the 2 biggest parties and getting unparalleled insight into how they function as well as access to Rivers state funds. Hope this reaches the right ears. |
fyneguy:No, the investment actually appreciated. What depreciated was the value of the all mighty Dollar. He made an investment of N1B+ when dollar was N155/$. Today the investment has doubled but dollar is N600/$. Compare the figures in Naira and you’ll see that it appreciated but compare them in dollar at today’s rates and it looks like it depreciated. Obi doesn’t control the dollar or inflation!

Omuka:Dollar. It only works with Dollar |
PenpalOso:You can do both but the rate to transfer to local bank account is N410/$. In my opinion it’s not worth it. |
I use the RX300 and have nothing but good things to say about it. It is virtually the same as a 2003-4 highlander and some of its parts are interchangeable so parts are readily available. If you know how strong and durable highlanders are you’ll know why the RX300s are popular. Also the ride is smoother than the Rav4 in my opinion. The RX300 is also more “premium” with wood finishes, leather seats, rear AC vents, etc. Fuel consumption is also not bad. |
I have used them in the past without issues |
yassinattah:Oga shut up. I served the in the Kogi State University and went to Lokoja many times. This HEDIOT is owning workers and paying a percentage of the ones he manages to pay. In the year I spent there I saw workers in my office become poorer and poorer. This is who you’re defending. If he becomes president tomorrow remember that if it doesn’t touch you it’ll touch someone you care about. USE YOUR HEAD!! |
I’ve noticed a trend when it comes to this Yahaya Bello of a guy, mostly on Nairaland. He pays people to sing his praises with posts where you’ll see the first 10 to 20 responses praising him. This is pure marketing. DONT BE GULLIBLE!! |
The price includes the nylon. You for return nylon carry another slice of plantain. |
I can see their argument tho. It’s easy to forget that most Nigerians don’t go through the same education path. If you’re from the south then it looks like the IELTS exam is a waste of time as everyone you know probably speaks and writes in English at varying skill levels. However, the same can’t be said in the north where they’re more likely to speak their native tongue. Moreover, as every election has shown us, the North surpass the South in population so if they bring 50% of “Nigerians” how many true English speakers do you thing will be included? |
Kastonkastroll:Yes and your leader is doing different, correct? Nonsense and ingredients. |
I work for an international company and have suffered a lot to receive payment in Nigeria. Here’s 2 was to do so that I’m sure of: Wise.com Good for platforms that require account numbers. 1. Get a FirstBank or UBA Dom account 2. Generate a US bank account as iLegendd coached at the beginning of this thread. 3. Withdraw straight to your dom account using the Swift option (charges per 1000 dollars is even less than $5). 4. Receive your money and get the best rate using aboki. Barter by Flutterwave Good for receiving payment from people. This is what I currently use. 1. Sign up and get a payment link. 2. Share link with the payer, it’s easy to use and straightforward. 3. Money appears in your Barter wallet. 4. Transfer to your Dom account or exchange on Barter (note that the rate is N410 so using Dom is better) 5. Receive your money and get the best rate using aboki. I prefer Barter cos they are more understanding and responsive that those foreign companies. I’ve come to find that most companies like Payoneer, PayPal, etc don’t care about you if you’re not in the United States. Currently have more that $1k seized by Payoneer and $2.5 held by PayPal even after the sender called them to verify the transfers. BTW: Barter is free to receive funds into your wallet and charges a flat $3 fee per withdrawal to Dom account. So whether you’re withdrawing $50 or $2000 you’ll be charged $3. Minimum withdrawal is $50. Finally, from personal experience, withdrawing dollars is soooo easy so far it is below $10,000. That’s where CBN places a limit. I have never been denied dollars when I try to withdraw and often finish before people trying to withdraw Naira sef. |
