OK let me try again. I said that There is actually a thin line between being bold and being Cocky Many will misinterpret your boldness as being cocky but it is not true. I have had problem with that when I was in Naija. Someone will say 'that guy is too pompous' and stuff like that. Come to think of it, if you do not have personal pride, you will be feeling inferior and will never be happy. This applies to both men and women Over here in the UK they say Nigerians are cocky and loud, why they are bold and they go for the jaugler even if they are into evil. When one is assertive, he comes accross in a resolute manner without being aggressive or cocky. The cocky person will see him first as being cocky |
Ruby_Pearl:I bu onye Igbo means, are you Igbo? loff? someone I have not seen? Like may be, love . . . . . Uche na wa you . . . Ojikwa gi . . .O ji gi na Onu? lol |
Ruby_Pearl:I bu onye Igbo? hehe |
Ruby_Pearl:Mee tooo Sometimes you don't have to sleep in the dark ![]() A deemed light might do you some good esp if you are the claustrophobic type |
Ruby_Pearl:why won't I reply. Just wanted to understand the tone Was that a command or something? ![]() |
Ruby_Pearl:OK I agree but it does not have to be in darkness lolsome degree of light may be necessary at times |
Uche2nna:Uche may be we are saying the same thing in different ways onyinye2:I suppose you read my post well. I remember I said that there are things money cannot get. But those thing will not be very effective on a hungry woman, a woman with an empty wardrobe etc |
onyinye2:Onyee how do you mean sis? |
Ruby_Pearl:Haha do not forget that the web affords some guys a measure of anonymity. In darkness loads of crap happen. |
Ruby_Pearl:Is that meant to be a command? |
Ruby_Pearl:Chei see me see wahala Proper naija no be by naturalization na by birth. Chei I don die ooo Anyway I know you are pulling my . . . what I don't know. |
Uche2nna:Uche, tell you what, there is no romance without money but money alone cannot bring romance. There are things money will do, but there are yearning in the heart which the money cannot satisfy It is only the those seemingly little things that will satisfy them. If you don't know them romance will not be complete trust me |
Ruby_Pearl:prolly the wrong thread |
Ruby_Pearl:There bshe goes . . .lol Can anything good come out of Jerusalem? onyinye2:not just some. There are many but you know that the empty can make the loudest noise. Great things are not found in common path. |
Ruby_Pearl:OK may be tomorrow I will Hope you won't mind |
Ruby_Pearl:That means you did not understand anything I said. Do you mean that ? ![]() |
Ruby_Pearl:Haha tell me what you do not understand and we will explain that |
Ruby_Pearl:As if I was not confident and bold while I explained to you. I know I was not cocky girl. Tonight is different though |
Ruby_Pearl:Thanks but do not know how to do that again ![]() |
ghettochyk:I was told by a reliable source that it has happened for good. |

Ruby_Pearl:Trust me most of those guys are only trying to be 'hard' or hard-man in local parlance. In th real sense most of them cannot do what they are saying and even if they do, they are not being true to themselves just ego and society stuff. So i think for sure what is considered romance in Africa is how much money you can give to your wife. That makes nonsense, little things and statements mean more than a million bucks . . .appreciation letting the person know he or she is appreciated |
Ruby_Pearl:What is that suppose to mean? Hope it is an answer? |
Ruby_Pearl:That is why I said not all but you cannot say most. Do mean all naija men are bush men? What of a woman who told the husband that coming to welcome him with an embrace and a kiss when he is back from work and she happens to be at home is doing too much for him? The last time I checked, I was told the woman is nigerian. Appreciating the mans effort was letting herself down but she would want the same from the man? |
Ruby_Pearl:everything but cocky |
Ruby_Pearl:Yea I am willing to answer if you really need another answer |
