penfold: @Pennywise LOL, (try not to get personal when debating in a public forum, its unscientific, unprofessional and unethical)
While not denying that certification has been withdrawn for countless drugs in the past and that there are warnings (which must always be conspicuosly displayed on the drug labels) for thousands of drugs, one must not also overlook the fact that quality control procedures for drugs being mass produced are rather difficult to monitor and that accounts for 97% of the cases where drugs have had to be withdrawn from the market (most times, its even selected batches of the drugs that were withdrawn!!! that is why drugs carry batch numbers), i'm not saying that Dr. Nelson's drug is fail-safe, but the point is that no one can deny the fact that this drug/herbal concoction/agbo has been tested by "fire" and survived, has been throughly examined and found adequate, whatever anybody might say!!!! C'est finis It has not survived entirely but you can say it is a promising drug candidate. Apart from market surveilance stage, i guess i read they still have one clinical trial step left. I hope it passes that one also |

Pennywise: If it is true this drug acts by regenerating lost cells then it should be treated with a lot of suspicion because it may also regenerate other cells unconnected with diabetes making it a carcinogen or teratogen.
There have been drugs like that in the past.If that is the case it had better not make it through clinical trials or the country Nigeria will only sink further deeper in global reckoning no thanks to Dr Obio Obio. Before a candidate molecule tagged new molecular entity(NME) is submitted for clinical trial, it must have satisfied certain criteria one of which is selectivity. Because the cell from different organs of the body differ significantly, it is posible for a certain NME to bind selectively to this cells. besides for a drug to act, it has to bind to a receptor . . .bla bla Anyway you do not need to fear, clinical trials will help to an extent to detect any untoward effect. Survelliance continues after market intoduction. At least accept it for once, naija is moving ahead |

It looks cool even though some patents . . . The fact that he has entered into an agreement with a company takes it a step further . . . |

Chei Oya ji Tosh onye nke ebidoro taa. i am a black guy. i am educated and civilised. no criminal records. i dont smoke. not history of problems with the police or other law enforcement agents. i am nigerian. ibo. in a few months i intend to marry another black girl. she is beautiful and well brought up. educated and even richer than me by far.
anyone who thinks black on black marriage is a mistake can go and rot in hell. but i'll never marry those flat arsed, pale, skinny flat chested and mannerless women that surround the whole western world.

eyonigger: True there are so many fishes out there, I have a problem though, I have never gone out searching for Mrs right, I come across gurls that I date by chance, maybe on the street or woeva. Are you saying that I shud leave her? If I have to, that wud be diplomatically, wont throw the bullet straight.
How can I do that? eyonigger: First thing first, I have never seen some1 that can stir up convo, I mean sweet and entertaining convo like I do, be u with known or unknown person. I guess am just selfish not trying to step her up into having a good convo with me. And who told u I dnt know how to toast a gurl? You are the best in stimulating a convo but you were asking how you can do that? You asked me who told me you don't know how to toast, my answer-you |

You said she is kinda caged, that could be the reason why she does not know what to say. It is possible she answers you phone at an ear shot from her parents. What do you expect her to say? She is new in the game, you should give her time. From the what you have been saying, I even think you as a guy cannot stimulate a convo. That could be why your other sharp babe stopped calling you. You ask her about herself and that's it . You then wait for her to start from where you stopped? Finally, have also considered it is possible your presence or voice takes away her breath that she feels wrapped in your presence and cannot think out a word? Be careful before you lose. She can learn to talk as she get more used to you but if you get someone who does not love you and knows how to talk . . . . hehe It is easier to learn how to talk than how to love. If you think you have a better option, you can leave her. Badly enough you don't even know how to go about toasting a girl. |
