I guess 'Nne I na-asu igbo' was meant for a woman. However, it means 'woman, are you speaking Igbo?' (are you the girl and he is the boi?)
The Nne there translated literily will be mother but in the context, it is an affectionate or polite way of talking to a girl esp in this context.
Probably she wanted to say 'nna' instead of 'nne'. In that case case, it would mean, 'boy, are you speaking Igbo'.
If she wrote ', i ma asu igbo?' It would have meant, 'do youn know how to speak Igbo? or do you speak Igbo.
Hope this helps. Igbo ndewonu. |

Uwaje: so because she is a woman and hes a man and he has MONEY shes only there for the money?if you flip the script and its the woman with the money, what will you people say?
@ poster,I think he is only rushing because hes not getting any younger, 34 is in my opinion is too old to not be married with children, so maybe hes feelin the pressure from his fam.
about his height: if you feel like the jolly green giant next to him then, u might want to rethink that idk, but one thing i can say is my mother did ONE thing right by marrying my dad, hes tall and we got his height which means your mother is short. I will tell her Girl Just be sure of what you want and go for it. There is no way you will feel comfortable around someone you are not used to. He should give you sometime to be with him so you understand him. You are scared because you do not know him. Get to know him and see if you are still scared. |

debosky: Stop beefing jo!
She did not lead to her father's looting - if you had evidence of excessive living/spending, then you might have a point. The mere fact that she is in a foreign university is no pointer to anything.
Many people work hard in naija and send their kids to school abroad. Punish the father for sins (if true) and not his innocent daughter.
PS Ibime I agree with you - quite bland. Wouldn't look at her twice, except she was loaded of course. Bro make some enquiries about that babe. She is a single mum though . . . lol All Egwu's kids are extravagant so do not even go there. |
