modath: Say whaaaatttt ? I was interested in '93 even when I was ineligible to vote!!
You were not the only one that mocked me that time, frenemies did their part as well, today they are regretting, one even made a U turn earlier especially after losing a distant relative to the Immigration Job scam.
The reason I felt so bad was cos I had no doubts that your timid shoeless clueless hero was only going to make a bigger mess of things. This is a person that had no single thing he could point to in his earlier foray into politics & had zero visions for this country as well..,
All he kept talking about was his deprived childhood and youth with no clear cut mission statement but that nonsense 7 points agenda.
We all saw what happened with that. The true definition of a lily livered myopic ruler ( he was never a leader, he was a covert & passive tribal overlord !!!!
Don't worry, you'll see a difference! Aww, we shall see. I am praying for better Nigeria. Irrespective of who is there. I doubt babaonechance is the messiah. I will be watching his appointments. If he doesn't give fashiola a pivotal role, the little hope I have will evaoprate. Prof will be relegated to background and they have started. Talking about direction, its two weeks down and babaonechance is running a directionless government. I will like to swallow my words about him. I am not like APC guys that will never acknowledge anything good as long as it doesn't favour their party. Wow, 1993.... Good one |

doctokwus: Though am not a fan of Tinubu because of his feudal and "grabbish" tendencies;and a diehard supporter of PMB since 2007 because of my firm belief in his person and abilities;on this score am fully with Tinubu. The aloofness and wanting to be seen to be "more democratic" than democracy itself of PMB has put the party and most importantly the nation on this absurd, totally wrong and potentially derailing path. There is no reason on earth for PMB to have allowed the emergence of a Saraki/ekweremadu senate;its unheard of and totally wrong. PMB has done wrong and must correct this mistake using whatever means he can find. Those means are readily available to him;let's hope he can use them, not just to save himself, the party but particularly the nation. Saraki/ekweremadu senate presidency must not stand! Hmmm, does it mean that the emergence of Tambuwal was an absurd and a totally wrong phenomenon that railroaded GEJ's administration? So ACN/APC delieberately destroyed GEJ's administration and you applauded them while blaming GEJ? Babaonechance is reaping from your misadventure. |
Politics › Re: Saraki Senate Presidency: Tinubu Blasts President Buhari by agabaI23(m): 8:42am On Jun 11, 2015 |
soe: No need
Buhari should know that Tinubu means well for the party...it is like a pet project to him.
The reason PDP so much wants his downfall is cos they know that a strong tinubu will remain a nightmare to PDP.
Buhari shoukd learn from his 1985 coup that acting "mr nice" doesn't work in Nigeria.
That was how David Mark, Sambi Dasuki and 2 other officers "nicely" walked into his state house, sat down, ate dinner with him, watched the 9pm news with him, laughed out loud before bringing out the pistol to send him on house arrest.
Saraki is patting him on the back while slowly rubbing the power off him...and Tinubu has nothing much to lose.
Wise up Buhari. Wise up Aww! sorry |
Politics › Re: Melaye Blames APC Senators For Loss Of Deputy Senate President by agabaI23(m): 10:59pm On Jun 10, 2015 |
donphilopus: This man should just keep shut lest thunder fires him. He 'dashed' out the Deputy Senate Presidency slot to PDP and he's here blabbing. The respect I used to have for Saraki and Dino Melaye has just diminished. I love the way Ndume was treated. He never knew Saraki had met with PDP Senators to offer them the 'Deputy Presidential' slot. He thought he had played fast on his fellow APC Senators to emerge the Deputy to Saraki. He may have dumped Saraki by now since his 'supposed' slot was freely given to Ekwerimadu and Saraki is in for a long thing.
The PDP Senators should know that they were the greatest losers yesterday. Out of the 57 Senators that were present at the hallowed chamber of the Senate during the 'sham' Election, only 8 of them were APC Senators. If a PDP Senator had moved a motion to nominate a fellow PDP Senator (say David Mark), he would have won the contest hands down and Saraki would have felt betrayed by now (which would have gladdened my heart). Saraki betrayed their trust in him when he defected to APC, he also betrayed APC's trust when he shunned the meeting convened by the President at the ICC and went to the floor of the Senate, they (PDP) should have also betrayed him by electing a PDP man as Senate President. I would have preferred it that way. PDP goofed! I think you are not right. If PDP had done that, the senate president would have been a metastable president. You will need the obvious support of a sizeable members of APC to pull that one off otherwise you will dispate your excess energy quickly and crash back to ground state |
