Never say never. We do not buy votes, we win votes. If Kwankwaso decides to work against Buhari, that's it. Kwankwaso has his eyes on the presidency, if GEJ wins, he has a chance to contest in the next 4 years. If Buhari wins, he will not have that chance. if anything happens to Buhari, it goes to SW and remains there for 8 years. The best option for him, Lamido and Atiku now is support GEJ.
You know pretty well that my point is reasonable. Kwankwaso decamped for this one reason. His major challenger is Shekarau. If both of them are to work for GEJ, that's it wink

A SERVING member of the House of Representatives from Kano State, Bashir Husain, and the Special Assistant to Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on Empowerment Programme, Hajia Maryma Kofar Mata, were among the members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

The development, according to a statement made available by the media office of Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo, yesterday, is a fallout of the visit of Sambo to the state.

According to the statement, Husain is representing Gwale Federal Constituency, while Kofar Mata was the immediate past State Women Leader of APC.

It added that Sambo, during the Kano visit, met with several stakeholders, where he urged them to reach out to the people and inform them of the achievements of the President Jonathan-led administration and the laudable programmes of the PDP. The fallout of these stakeholders’ meetings was the defection of the two stalwarts of APC.

The Vice President, while receiving the decampees, welcomed them warmly to the shade provided by the party, stressing that PDP’s umbrella was large enough to accommodate anyone interested in joining the party.

He urged them to feel at home and work assiduously for the victory of the party in the forthcoming elections, so that the party and the administration would continue to move the country forward.

Sambo, who described the PDP as “the party of Nigeria with the most people oriented programmes that has been transforming the socio-economic wellbeing of Nigerians in the right direction,” also added, “PDP is Nigeria, and Nigeria is PDP. If you go to every corner and the remotest part of Nigeria, PDP has a system in place.”

In their response, the decampees said they defected from the APC because the PDP and the administration of President Jonathan and Vice President Sambo, have been delivering more and better dividends of democracy to Nigerians through their Transformation Agenda. They pledged to work tirelessly to move the party and the country to greater heights.

Your Excellency!

Your name rang bells to my ears each time I hear it.
The tales of your performance in Lagos crosses the shores of Nigeria.
To some extent sir, your name even came up several times as a presidential hopeful (but this is Nigeria, you are not from "catchment area"wink.

In the midsts of touts like Amechi, liars like Lai, "lords" like Tinubu, and tyrants like Buhari, I still listened to you with attention and wished you belonged to the camp of real progressives.

You do make sense almost each time you speak!

However Sir, your recent comment about Jonathan an the Almajeri schools is kill joy!
You have destroyed what ever admiration and respect some of us have for you.

I knew that this is politics and you must to all you can for you party to win.
If you use the inability of Mrs Jonathan to speak Queens English (I don't speak it myself), I can understand.
If you accuse Jonathan of being responsible for the misrule of the PDP from 1999 (incidentally, OBJ and Atiku are now in your camp),or I can understand.
IF you accuse Jonathan of looting N30 Trillion (As mentioned by Soludo, though I am aware that he annual National budget never crossed N5 Trillion), I can still understand.
If you shout that one Dollar is now pursuing N500, I can also understand.

I can go on and on....but I am sure you have got my drift.

But to speak against one of the greatest silent Revolution of Jonathan's administration (The invention and Implementation of Almajeri Schools) is not only mischievous but insensitive as well.

The average Northern Moslems lock up their daughters in the bedroom and covered their faces, while their sons are sent out to the streets with plates ( a practice inherited from some primitive teachings in the name of God).

The average Northern Moslem leaders saw nothing wrong with the practice:
Great names like Buhari, IBB, Abdusalami, Atiku, Shagari, Balarebe Musa, El Rufai, Lawal Kaita, Ango Abdullahi, Adamu Chiroma, and the rest of their great leaders, both present and past, never bothered, never cared.

Even Yaradua never bothered..

Education is the right of every human! While the children of the elites like Buhari are schooling in London (we all know how poor he is, else his children might be studying in the moon and not any where near the earth), the Almajeri's are left on the streets, without hope.

Those are are the easy recruits for Islamic violence in the north! They are the easy prey of predators like Boko Haram Jihardists.

Enters Jonathan!

Even if he only dropped the idea, that would have still be great toward solving the problems created by primitive religious ideologies in the North. Yet, he went ahead to implemented such!

If not for any other reason, that these kids have something else to occupy their minds instead of hearing that "Boko is Haran"!
That is a step in the right direction!!!

Fashola, how dare you!!!
How dare you open your mouth to speak against this great idea from a great mind??
Must you allow your mind to be twisted just in the name of "Opposition"?

What is exactly the change you folks are talking about?
IF building schools for the Almajeris is not a change, please sir, what is change?

I dare to say,

Shame on you!
Shame on the APC
and shame to all who support this deceit!

cheers to all.
Thank you, Thank you very much, Thank you very very much sir

francizy:
The jobs are out there, I wouldn't blame GEJ for my inability to get a job rather I will blame OBJ for not building universities during his time as President. I spent four years writing JAMB and getting turned down by universities due to large number of students. I finally gained admission in 2007 and graduated a lill bit older than the ages coys love to employ for graduate trainees and internships. So how is it GEJ's fault when most entry level and trainee jobs require people of max of 25 years?

GEJ created youth friendly programs like YouWiN that has presently created thousands of bosses and create close to 10,000 jobs.

GEJ created SURE-p which trains graduates and prepare them for better career opportunities, gives cars out to people to use as taxi to make some returns and then own the taxis, etc.

GEJ made a tremendous impact in the agric sector of the economy

Even with the insurgency in Nigeria, Nigeria still emerged as the largest economy in the continent. This alone brings loads of investors to the country.

Nollywood moved to a whole new dimension during GEJ tenure and is now competing globally.

During GMB's tenure, he cancelled projects, sacked workers and abandoned ajaokuta steel industry, reduced feeding of students from 3 meals to 1 pa day (this alone will make school caterers loose their jobs), etc. All these resulted in tens of thousands loosing their jobs.

He made history by being the first head of state to create unemployment.

During those days when coys employ directly from schools, while most graduates didn't write tests to get job, no crowds at coys waiting to be interviewed, etc, if 75,000 could be unemployed then coupled with the fact that we had less graduates in Nigeria then compared to now, then of means that 75,000,000 will become unemployed if he becomes the president.
Bros well said. The thing is, the total number of graduates from 1983, 1984 and 1985 put together was 75,000 but 70,000 out of 75, 00 were without job.

Presently, only one geopolitical zone will account for 75k in a year not even in 3 years. And people keep graduating so the number will keep adding up. he had no immediate or long term plan then. Now APC does not even have any such plan.

GEJ doing a multipronged attack.
Creating billionaires that will sustain job creation
Creating direct jobs through FDI
Creating direct jobs through Youwin
Creating direct jobs through Sure-P
Creating direct jobs through Agropreneur
Creating jobs SMEs (200 billion seed fund)
Nollywood received the grant fund and their annual worth is second highest in the world. Kunle Afolayan who won best movie and best director in AMVC awards benefited from it and he acknowledged that the grant helped him push his october 1 all over the world.
Nollywood is a multilevel employer.

Nigeria, what we have on the table cannot be compared the fake being brandished.

Nigeria lets vote GEJ

Image123:
Honestly, most of the questions posed here remain propaganda to me and mere newspaper talk. Of course, you will agree with David Mark and Obanikoro that newspaper talk is not enough or substantial. That said, there are two things.
If you are not aware of most of the questions, why don't you do your research.

You either dismissed some as new media propaganda or asked where I saw them.

All allegations against GEJ are also from the news media, are they propaganda also?

Honestly, most of the questions posed here remain propaganda to me and mere newspaper talk. Of course, you will agree with David Mark and Obanikoro that newspaper talk is not enough or substantial. That said, there are two things. One, the attack on Boko Haram was indeed an attack on the North in the sense that human rights were violated and much innocent people were been killed and massacred. The international community attested to that as well.
How can you say that it means human rights. He did not mention civilian casualty sir. Stop putting words in his mouth OK. He did not want FG to attack BH. He even said that BH should be treated like Niger Delta militants who were flown to Aso Rock on presidential jet. Stop twisting fact.

The human rights issue as reported by international media is a rereport of Nigerian media propaganda output. No international media organisation went to the North East. They report what you sold to them, APC..

Two, whatever Buhari said is irrelevant to Jonathan administration not fighting Boko Haram decisively. The GEJ administration should be responsible enough to take full blame for the Boko Haram crisis instead of trying to sell to us that Buhari and others did not allow them deal with Boko Haram?
Look at my response on this thread to 15 questions. I addressed this. I don't want absolve him totally but I want you accept your blame for the ignoble role APC, Buhari, Emirs, Northern elders and the saboteurs in the army plaid. Blames also goes to the US.

. When did they start listening to or acting pn what Buhari says before they govern? If Buhari had said GEJ should resign, or should become a muslim, would he have done that? GEJ took his own decision and should take responsibility for it. Three and extra, it is very clear the position of Buhari on boko haram. If you have data, you can watch the 4min interview of Buhari recently on the BBC. Very clear stand on Boko Haram. We clearly recall Jonathan calling Boko Haram his siblings and saying that they are in his government.
I will tell you why it was necessary that GEJ listened to Northern elders

Insurgency is not a conventional warfare. The enemies hide within the people so you need the cooperation of the people who know them to defeat them.

BH had sympathisers in the population. The imams and emirs that opposed them are all dead.

Over 95% of our gallant officer were killed under ambush. Someone was giving the BH information. We had such casualty when the northerners pretended to support the war, what would have happened if they were openly opposed to it because they do not like the face of the commander? Unimaginable bro. So he had to obey to get a level of cooperation.

Why should he negotiate on their behalf when he does not support them? What happened to the foreign negotiator and his reports that did not favour the federal government?
Obasanjo volunteered to meet with them to get information on what they wanted, was he in support? They believed he would not betray them because he believed in the cause of islam. His utterances like vowing to spread sharia to all of Nigeria endeered him to them.

Because the Army is not trustworthy. You win trust. The Army has being lying to everybody about different issues from weapons, to number of casualties in each attack, to signing a cease fire, to finding the chibok girls, to differing stances on the Buhari certificate etc. Anyone would take their reports with a pinch of salt and real proof. i do not blame the APC.
The army are laying their lives for you and I, the list you can do is to support them. You want them to fail so that you castigate the CinC. Did they really lie? This guys were dealing with faceless people. They were getting information they believed were real and only to find out they were false. they informed you immediately and you are using it against them to your advantage? is that fair?

Well, we will need to ask Boko Haram, maybe because the PDP planned it that way, how about that? What is the definition of major event BTW?
This is not answer.

Magic wand? Where did he make such claims? It is not rocket science how our military can/should defeat boko haram. The present administration has simply being non-chalant and indecisive for over 4years. There is no magic wand anywhere. Why are boko haram shooting videos and moving in long convoys in a state of emergency situation? Why send thousands upon thousands of armed soldiers, police and paramilitary to Ekiti and Osun for election when every average person knows that they are more needed in Sambissa? Of course you know that the February FEC meeting was a complete waste of time and money, don't you? When Buhari worked with corrupt Abacha, it is the same ilk that will condemn him. Either he works or distances himself, the people who will vomit will still vomit, let them say.
I addressed this in my earlier response. Go check.

Working with corrupt Abacha is not the issue, the issue is that Buhari said Abacha was not corrupt. Mai Gaskya said Abacha was not corrupt in 2008. You have not answered my question here honestly

Wrong analogy, nobody was hired or fired. BTW Buhari remains a better leader and manager than President Jonathan, this is a fact not an insult. Perhaps, President Jonathan may know more about animals and zoos than Buhari, but when it comes to leadership, integrity, decision making, project management, resource management and appointment of people to work with, Buhari is better than President Jonathan. i'd rather have Osinbajo, Fayemi, Fashola, Oby, El-Rufai, Ameachi, Dabiri, Aisha Buhari, Kwakwanso, and yes Tinubu working for and speaking for me, than Fani-Kayode, Fayose, Sambo, Patience Jonathan, Asari Dokubo, Gbenga Daniel, Alamesaigha and Obanikoro.
You amuse me honestly. you are answering like my friend GenBuhari. Nobody was hired or fired you said. i think you should get acquinted with facts before you come for this kind of stuff unless you were paid to write something wink

Did he? Where? i remember him on the PoliticsToday Channels interview talking about the Abacha and IBB administration as corrupt. You can search for "FG's Effort In Fighting Boko Haram Is Unsatisfactory - Buhari Prt 2" on youtube. It was posted by Channelstv. He clearly refered to Abacha's wanton corruption.
Yes he did. You should rather look for where he said so. Now that you know that he said so, tell me, did he disappoint you or you agree with him?

i am not aware, where did you get this information? Who stole N25B?
See question? Look on the web sir. Obasanjo probed him and has confirmed it. oh boy! Are you for real? I see you are surprised. come out and quickly. You have been sold a dummy wink

Is it a crime to use a company owned by a relative if the company can do the job? If you were an employer of labour, you will not employ your relatives even when they are competent right?
It is corruption sir. You are not supposed to use any proxy. it means he awarded contracts to himself. It is corruption and it is a crime.
Lol, where did you get this information?
It is in the web. The report of the investigative panel. If you ask nicely, I can send to you wink

Actually, the economy was already dismal before Buhari, the Shagari administration had run down the economy. Ever heard of 'ghana must go'? Yes, that was the Shagari administration. The economy was so bad and debts were growing amazingly and the politicians spending like there was no tomorrow(very similar to the current administration). The government then created propaganda and sold it to Nigerians telling them that the Ghanaians in Nigeria were the reasons for their woes, joblessness and problems. That was why they chased the Ghanaians out of Nigeria by force. Nigeria was in TROUBLE that was why the military took over, amidst jubilations in the cities of Nigeria. Are you FFK, you told so many lies in few lines. Well, one thing i am certain GMB will do differently is stop needless wastages. You can see the discipline clearly in his campaigns, very effective and efficient without breaking the bank.
No body is disputing that the economy was bad. What we are saying is that he could not turn it around. his actions worsened it. And to buttress his inability to grow wealth, he has not been able to change the size of his cattle since 2007. it has been 150 all along. He has not acquired any further training, wrote no books, no speeches etc. Why will i hand over my company to a manager that destroyed my company 30 years ago who has not developed himself in any way nor acquired any more experience?
