Obiagelli: Another empty head on the loose, i would like to see our Gdp at the end of this year following the recent oil prices.
Same for 1983 - 1986 Then I don't want anybody using the fall in naira value as a campaign chewing stick since you dont want the same used on your candidate. Both issues are as result of fall in oil price. Even at that, this government has done so well to diversify the economy that it has not affected the GDP that much such that it is still the number one investment destination in Africa, 6th(Blooberg), 3rd(CNN) growing economy in 2015. While one had policies that worsened the situation such 1. Physical price control that ran many SME out business because they were forced to sell below cost price 2. Foreign currency decree that created scarcity for $ leading to large volumes of naira chasing after the unavailable dollar. How can you continue to defend the indefensible? |

Obiagelli: Is it not great that a regime cut down on our civil service while the private sector has lost thousands of jobs under gej's administration.
Please remind how many nepa staffs lost their jobs to privatisation.
Hypocrisy and empty-headedness of these pdp supporters is astonishing. It takes a fool to follow a fool. Obiagelli, it appears you did not look at the clips attached? You only talked about the military? Do you know the number of people retrenched from civil service? You remind me the number that lost their jobs. Note that any NEPA staff that lost job was paid off and so many of them were retained. They were paid upto 10 years salary once and others were paid their gratuity. Many were retained by the current gencos and discos. You don't have an argument Now let me tell you what happened to private sector under Buhari 1. Buhari closed the border starving the companies of raw materials without making local arrangement for supply. 2.Many companies either downsized or closed shop while the remaining relocated to other countries as result. GEJ is banning the importation rice gradually while boosting local production of rice. You know the trend of rice price was flat last year. The same with Autopolicy kick off which was postponed to give room for increased capacity of the auto industry. Local productivity improved 50% as was reported few days ago. The financing solution has been finalised and will be rolled out before year end. 3. He met the naira at 76k to a $1 and left it at 89k to $1 4. Government savings fell from 24% of the GDP in 1980 to 12% of the GDP in 1985 5. Buhari cannot be compared. |

Remember he killed General Shuwa. lol, he doesn't have to use the word. He said they were shooting the northerners. International community report what you feed them. None of them came to the northeast. Davis report has been bursted as lie. Go and check Buhari's response when BH attacked Bags for the first time after the soldiers crushed them. |

briefness: Too rampant corruption also requires desperate measures to curb. Some decisions may not have yielded the desired results but responsible leadership takes responsibility for all and not blame opposition.
Did you see the 4th but last paragraph which stated, "Buhari, 41, who had a reputation for honesty..." in your first post? The foreign media was so assertive on this. It shows the decisions were not for self benefit. This is what we need now. Honesty? Can an honest person say that Abacha is not corrupt? A person whose government was adjudged the most corrupt in 1997 and 3rd most corrupt in 1998? He served under that government and never condemned it. He is as honest as anini |

omenka: Why wouldn't I vote for someone who deploys troops to the market place to force traders to stop undue exploitation of the citizens of this country by unnecessarily hiking the prices of their wares?? Lmao.
This one even suppose be campaign point for my amiable General. You assume that people were selling at cut throat price, it is not true. People were forced to sell below cost price. In some cases people who locked up their shops to avoid selling at a loss had their shops broken into in their absence and their wares sold off at ridiculous prices below cost price. How can you defend this? Is that the way to lower prices? No wonder he said he will stabilize global oil price. |
