PvtParts: Here is George Bush opening a school in Africa.

What a waste of protocol you may want to say for the then World's most powerful man.

The visit is to highlight Nigeria's business opportunities which will lead to capital investment into the economy from the U.S.

By according the President the protocol to sound the closing bell on the stock market is both symbolic and a pragmatic public relation stunt.

Now all of you are so deluded with hate, jealousy and tribal sentiments against this man that you will never understand.
I saw sponge bob and doggie dog highlighting doggie dog business opportunities and sponge bob doing the same thing with patric and sandy under the sea......

Italiano1: I do not need to tell you my academic qualifications or my achievements since you are not a prospective employer and I am not a public figure.

However, I can assure you that I am far better educated than you- unless you can provide evidence that it is your 6 year old child that writes your posts.

Additionally, I can categorically state that I speak and write better than Jonathan Goodluck- in English I meant and not in Okrika language.

The man that you worship has consistently and relentlessly disgraced the Nigerian nation in every international fora he has participated in- I will advise you to go and watch how a 27 year old CNN presenter disgraced him during a routine interview. He struggles to string sentences together and for a man that supposedly has a PhD, he has zero analytical skills which is quite surprising but quite understandable considering he got his doctorate in a glorified secondary school. Just for informational purposes, his wife who is a walking grammar nuclear bomb also has a so called "Bachelors Degree".

Your question does not negate my point on the fact that Mr Jona has no fundamental clue about the mechanics or even the basic operations of the NYSE.

kettykin: you could have at least noticed the large difference between the number of industries , businesses between Enugu and OSun.
You could at least noticed that there enough tertiary institutions to produce and train manpower resources required to run these businesses

Enugu has more companies and natural resources than Osun
It's simple economics that has nothing to do with some long list of non viable or money generating undustries.

Osun is the second largest producer of Cocoa

Cocoa is Nigeria's second largest export after oil

Nigeria made $1 billion from cocoa last year

Now, tell us how much Nigeria made from anything in Enugu or even worth exporting.

Your operating budget is always a refelction of your economic capabilities, it shows hpw much you can spend and borrow, it refelcts on what you can spend on in terms of infrastructures and the people's basic social needs.

The fact that ENUGU can not budget or perform over N83 billion/Year which is what Lagos state pays it's workers in one year means ENUGU can not excecute any meaning ful project, it meas Enugu is stagnating, it means Enugui is not functioning economically.

This is the reason why there are no state sponsored infrastructueres started or completed in Enugu, the money and capacity is just not there. N83 billion is is a very sorry amount for any state, it's basically 100% recuring budget.

On the other hand, Osun state's budget is N234, that's almost 3 times over Enugu's pathetic N83 billion.

It means Osun state has enough capacity to spend and borrow on projects as we see them do everyday.

It means Osun state can award and spend money on projects and keep expanding it's tax and economic base.

All your emosional geography lesson means nothing really....

Sincere 9gerian: Do these Tinubu dogs have no shame? The President flagged off work on the road. We've seen pictures of ongoing works on this thread. Some NLanders have testified to commencement of work. But despite these mounting evidences, Tinubu dogs insist no work is going on. What evidence do they have for holding this position? Nothing. They just HOPE and PRAY that work should not commence on the road. Why would a normal human being hope that Lag-Ibadan road remains in its deplorable state? Because that is what makes their master,Tinubu, happy.

Well, whether Tinubu and his dogs like it or not, work has commenced and will continue till its completed. Any challenge encountered on the road will be overcomed.
We are not against progress, what we are against is incompetence and disgusting lies by you and your dullard Aso Rock uncles.....

Sincere 9gerian: Is that why your gods in Lagos have not been able to complete the Lagos light rail project (started by Jakande in the 80s) after ruling Lagos for 14 solid years? Where is the 4th Mainland bridge promised by Tinubu your lord? Where is the lekki international Airport? Besides painting federal roads and traffic control what other major project has been executed by the ACN/APC govt in Lagos in the last 14 years? Nonsense!
Olodo laptop number 0000.

1. The metro rail was canceled by the federal government and we should be enjoying so many metrol rails in Lagos and in Nigeria in general without that bad bele and lousy federal governance.

2. Your sense of arithmetic sucks because Construction started in 2010 under Fashola. That's 3 years ago so your 14 years came from your anus of course. The road was your FG eye sore, it was their neglected responsibility like countless others all over Nigeria. That single project is the most major and important project in West Africa.

That project is what sovereign nations engage in, but only the competent government of Lagos state is capable of such major and visionary project.

3. So the Aso Rock dullard owed us N50 billion dollars for painting his wortless and lousy roads? lmao. You are a lousy by product of the Aso Rock dullard manufacturing plant, you are a defective product..

4. Lagos state built the best bridge in Nigeria and West Africa, but your dullard uncle is yet to build one, even the village bridge in the East they've been begging for since 30 years ago is still invisible after many PDP asministrations including the resident dullard today.

There is a chest beating thread titled Enugu pride of the east, but Enugu's budget for 2013 is N83 billion, thats guguru and epa money, that's what you take to jankara market for tatashe, tomato, garri and okra.

God Punish Akpabio. Useless man.
Far from done, I left out a lot of stuff because I was tired, glad plaindealer stepped in to represent with the parks and recreation pics and tons of other stuff.

There are trillion naira worth projects under construction all over the state, even many of the pics in this thread are firts timers on NL.

This man started and commissioned more projects than any administtration in the history of Nigeria including the FG with all their oil money.

Fashola is indeed a great leader, but he obviously didn't do all by himself so I always credit the credible and professional men and women he sorounds himself with. Just look at the parks and recreation pics, Fashola obviously didn't plant the flowers or designed the landscape. These are dedicated folks with love of state and eko o ni baje running through their veins.

Look at the Water board folks are doing a great job, the Electricity board is lighting up the state, the works folks are manufatruring their own pavement stone and other materials and so on.

In fact, I'll do a different thread detailing the activities of the state agencies. when you see agency folks and directors with their different color unit uniforms and the state logo stamped on their chest, you know it's all about eko o ni baje..

I'll still finish of with Eko Atlantic, Ijust have to make it grand and in style..

It makes no sense paying these Akwa Ibo folks, what else is their to show Nigerians apart from their silly roads and random goofy projects with no definition or aim?

In 2013, we still have a government with the largest state budget in Nigeria littering his state with crappy and deadly water basket that killed one of his people already, schools clossing because of lack of infrastructures, mediocre schools, little or no hospitals, no skills centers and so on and on and on.

Just look at this thread. His followers can not produce anything beyond their recycled and repetitive roads, that righ there is an eye opener and they should be concerned about that, they are sadly more into the tribal thing than the state itself..

Akwa Ibom is decades behind Lagos a dnI don't see that state doing any better under Akpabio because his heart is not in that state, his too distrated to give that state what it needs, he's always out elsewhere either in Lagos or Abuja, he's too involved in silly adventures that has nothibng to do with his state and his people. What do you have to say about a man who uprooted himself and his family to another state? He obviously have no hope or faith in his state and people.

His state's money is for his personal use to dash out all over the place. What responsible leader dishies out his people's money to celebrities, to worthless political lots, on worthless luxuries like private jets, luxury trucks and other trivial rubbish.

Akpabio is a terrible leader and a lousy administrator.

ba7man: On the 2nd page of this thread, @Agbameta took a while b4 he started posting pics of Fashola's works.

I had already typed a post predicting that he was gathering pics to bury this thread. I had almost pressed the "submit" button but I restrained myself.........

They never saw it comin......its always better that way.
They sure didn't see it coming and it was a trap.

I have no serous issues with them loving their Akpabio because I know better, I know the man is a despicable con man and he's playing the people of that state. I just got tired on their foolishness and idiotic interruptions every time we talk about Lagos, they just butt in with the same silly roads over and over. You really must be r.etarded if all you need in a leader is just a handful of roads while missing out in nearly all the other critical areas of survival.

Governance is not all about just a hand full of roads to flash in people's face while your people have zero access to credible and standard healthcare, schools and other social amenities.

The man came up short in many areas regarding the set criteria in this thread, he didn't even show up on the radar at all.

See how many pages it took me to detail his meager nonsense? After posting all their silly roads, it's a wrap, there is nothing more in that hole and the largest budget in Nigeria has no bearing on what's on the ground in Akwa Ibom. As loud as they get all the time, they couldn't even challenge me and what I posted with anything in Akwa Ibom because after the roads like I said, there is nothing, I mean nothing.

To me, the only way to pull off the veil is this thread and it worked like a charm, it exposed their idiocy, shallowness and stupidity.

This thread should be bookmark by all so when next they come up with their foolishness and silly roads, pull out this thread just to let the know the gig is up and they are not fooling you..

The man himself and his family refused to call his own rotten state home and prefer Lagos for obvious reasons so the crying losers and tribal clowns on NL remains irrelevant anytime any day..

The six other states listed as recording high velocity of cash transaction, according to the apex bank, are Rivers, Anambra, Abia, Kano, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
This illiterate said Ogun state is poor, but in the article he posted up there, Ogun is one of the six richest states in Nigeria.
