bakynes: Its a known fact that most of the states governors in Nigeria use either Range Rover or Landcruiser. In 2010, when I was serving in Ibadan, I drove through the Oyo state Govt house and dat was the same day Jonathan visited Akala, so I saw the convoy of both Akala and Jonathan. Jonathan was in a black tinted mercedez S220 while Akala was in a black tinted Range Rover, so I don't know the problem of some igbos on this thread, likewise we see many state governors on TV with Range Rover or Landcruiser.

In personality structure the typical Igbo has traits of paranoia, narcissism and antisocial personality.

For me, it's always hard to fault ibo people for what they are, for what they are predisposed to and destined to be.

They are basically just being ibo

solomon111: Lagos is probably the state that has benefited the most from this administration.
That 200billion seaport should be built in akwaibom.
I wonder why akpabio is silent.

Stop gassing yourself with the 200 billion seaport nonsense because it remains mostly private. The FG tagged along to do attache and they paid their 20% attache price while the Lagos state government and private investors foots the rest.

Why is Akpabio silent? He careless about any seaport in his village. He ported to Lagos with his family right? And besides, where are the private investors lined up to build the seaport? What % is he paying and where is his own personal commitment apart from his aso rock bingo duties...?

Any Ibo that put a record out and does not sing in Yoruba language is doomed!

To all my Ibo brothers in Lagos, Yoruba is the official language when we go regional. Please start raising your pikin to understand the vowels and let them know it is p and not kp when you say pako. We dont have a c in our alphabets, it is sh, not ch.

Lagos state house of assembly that represents and speaks on behalf of the people deliberate in Yoruba by law, not in ibo, hausa or any other language.

Igbos generally feel inferior and inadequate and compensate with false superiority.

Have you ever seen a humble Igbo man who does not present himself as god almighty himself even though he is a starving man? If you listened to these people boast you would think that they are as
powerful as the gods are supposed to be!

And by your estimation, the Yoruba tailor who makes my clothes somewhere in the Niger Delta is internally displaced. Same as the Shell worker from Osun state and those guys from Ijebu Ode who sell some roots in bottles. All of them IDPs.

Infact even Aregbeshola was an IDP when he fled Osun State to go to Lagos and work as commissioner.
Adenuga from Ogun state living in Banana Island is also a IDP.

All these kind of childish folks promoting hatred are doing themselves and their future generations no good. Pretty unintelligent fellow.

Ojuku was not only boy boy to Babangida, he sold you villagers to hausa man

Your history can't be told without hausa from page one to the very end

Mayor_of_Lagos: I would love for Fashola to buy more of those expensive luxury vehicles, in fact if we are asked to vote a preference I would vote a RR or Bentley for my governor. We should reward hardwork, dilligence and performance to incite and encourage others to rise up for their own reward.

Besides, this man does not use siren or stop movement to use our dangerous roads, he deserves the protection.

Great question, but don't expect any kind of answers because it's all lies.

Besides what you people fail to get is that the corruption case against Oduah is not about the prices alone. The cars were not approved by the government, it was not budgeted for, they evaded taxes, lied to the SSS/NSA and inflated prices
.

Many of them can not read, comprehend or follow simple logic hence their apple and orange rants and conclusions.

Even Obanikoro's noise about the press is corruption. The clown said he's in the, but still won't back up his idumota gossip and rumor with facts..

PapaBrowne:

You are absolutely right. A very brilliant administrator. I do love his attitude, commitment and desire to make things better.

But the big question is: Has he performed in equation to the amount of money that has been available at his disposal or has he harnessed the huge opportunity that Lagos presents? The answer is a big no. For a state that has most of its infrastructure already built up, you would have taught that after 6 + years in government, the state would be awash with world class infrastructure left right and centre but all we talk about is a link bridge in Ikoyi. Every other mega project is less than 30% complete or still on paper. LFTZ, Light Rail, LekkiAirport, Fourth Mainland bridge, Lekki Epe expressway, and the list is endless. Just a couple inner city roads done and nothing more. Fashola by himself knows that he did not meet even his own expectations.

IGR = 20 BILLION X 12 = 240

Allocations = 10 billion x 12 = 120

240 + 120 = 360 billion

Budget = 499 billion

499 billion - 360 billion = 139 billion

Meaning they have to borrow 139 billion just to keep up and provide for 20 million people.

You can start by educating yourself per what the state collects and generates against the actual budget they operate with.

Allocation and IGR is measly 360 billion for 20 million people while many states like Akwa Ibom and Rivers not only collects way way more, they budget more money than Lagos.

Akwa Ibom alone with just 5 million people budgets over 500 billion so your question really should be with what Lagos state and all the folks they have to cater for and what they've been able to deliver, what are states like Akwa Ibom doing with more money than Lagos and still not anywhere close to Lagos in terms of service and infrastructure delivery?

We love Ikoyi link bridge because it's not only the best bridge in West Africa, it was built in less than 4 years while even the FG is still struggling to come up with 2nd Niger bridge 30 years and counting.

Saying all you here is Ikoyi bridge is a reflection of your own ignorance and disingenuous character because we post nearly everyday his projects and commissioning on NR, more than any government in the history of Nigeria.

We've posted power plants

More schools than any government in Nigeria. 13,000 new classrooms

More roads than any government in Nigeria and even west Africa

Power plants

More housing estates than any government in the history of Nigeria

Bridges

Hospitals and health centers. public Paediatric as well as Health and Diagnostic Centres, a Cardiac and Renal Centre, Trauma and Burns Centre and the construction of Maternal and Child Health Complexes across the state.

The best Cardiac and renal hospital in Nigeria is under consruction

He's constructing the best express way in Nigeria with 10 lanes with metro and BRT access

He built 15 water works, more than any government in Nigeria

He built 17 skills centers, more than any government in the history of Nigeria

He built drivers institute all over the state

He built Rice mills

Cassava mills

N30 Billion Ikorodu Road is under construction after decades of federal neglect

Successful Bus Rapid Transit System (BRT) system – the first in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Largest modern integrated solid waste management system in West Africa.

He built the best Agric institute and settlement in Nigeria

The aerial digital mapping of Lagos State through Geographic Information System (GIS). While your FG is still struggling to build one

Only government in Nigeria currently installing under ground power cable system in Nigeria.

He runs the best and the most productive agencies in Nigeria

Lagos state is the only government in Nigeria with the most ground breaking and ambitious projects on the table in Nigeria.

The list is almost endless...

I still don't know why you lazy bigots don't focus on your worthless villages and unproductive governors.
