Nigerians are tired of poor leadership that the so called Independence day lost its usual vibe.

What are we supposed to celebrate?
Poverty?
Loss and lack of jobs?
Insecurity?
Corruption?

This did not ban individuals from soliciting for funds abroad! Political parties were the ones banned and as such all candidates are free to solicit for funds on a personal basis!

Honestly, I don't understand why we think the seizure and auctioning of of the vehicles of one-way traffic offenders! People are demanding for leniency for them.

But wait a minute, the people that one-way traffic offenders have killed or wounded didn't have the chance to plead for leniency for their lives.

My post was never about the auctioning of vehicles. Those vehicles are supposed to be impounded. I was talking about the 3 years imprisonment if that was true.

I agree he must've assaulted the officials which is very bad on its own but I also think we mustn't being tribe into everything.

Individuals should be held accountable for their misbehaviour and not their region or tribe.

There is no refine punish for driving against traffic. Once caught your vehicle is impounded straight to auction to generate income for the govt for that sort of lunatic act.

I'm not against impounding vehicles and paying to get them back. I was specific to the jail term. If he had to spend 3 years for the offence, its not humane. Its a bit on the harsh side.

Traffic offence is a crime but I feel the rule is quite harsh if he had to spend 3 years in prison. That's a whole lot.

Firstly, I have given my right to vote to our corrupt system. Until it gets better I will never vote.
In 2010/11 we were enthusiastic and all, even joined as volunteers with INEC to register voters. But it was all due to lack of knowledge of the corrupt monster, called NIGERIA.

My point is I DON'T AND WON'T VOTE BUT OBSERVE..even in 2023.

So I have observed from 2011 that GEJ was the trend on all social media platform and on the lips of all Nigerians, did he win the elections that year? YES, he did.

2015 came and it was "Sai Baba" from up North to down South, did PMB win the presidential election that year? YES, he did. This still sufficed for PMB by the whiskers in 2019 elections.

Now, 2023, Peter Obi is on all social media and trending and making headlines every second of every minute, home and abroad.
Now the question is; Will PO win the 2023 elections? YES, he will, from my observations.

I am an INDIFFERENT registered voter, fortunately without a PVC and has never voted, and will never vote until the systems is overhauled and working ie, we vote via email and straight it goes to INEC!

To change the narrative, i suggest you get involved. Folding your hands when you know there's a problem to be solved will not solve the issue.

Hi please I opened this thread for a very important reason.

There's this number that's been calling from another country and threatening fire and brimstone on me. It happened last year, reported to the NPF but they could do nothing. I let it slide.

Fast forward to this month, the same number called again and is threatening to kill. I don't know this individual but he seems to know me. He called a 2nd time but I opted not to pick the call.

Please are there any steps that I should take concerning this.

When OBJ was the president Atiku was the VP. Tinubu was an opposition governor while Obi was a governor in the ruling party!

OBJ did witheld Lagos state funds for months yet in the end Lagos still faired better till they won!

Stop begging them. Nigerian universities are some of the cheapest in the world. Some doctors don't even spend up to $20k all through their years in medical school. Meanwhile, that's what many schools spend part annum in the US and other Western countries.

You just have to use bonds to keep them here. If you go through public schools and enjoy government-subsidized education, you should be ready to work in Nigeria for 7 years or more or you pay the government $10k per year for 10 years wherever you are in the world or you will be declared wanted. However, the government needs to improve their pay and working conditions here.

This is not the right way to address the issue. The health sector in Nigeria is overwhelmingly poor. The government should do their part by revitalising that sector.

Whether a doctor was drained with N500k or $20k, if the working conditions are not favourable, he or she will leave.

Health workers face a lot of health hazards and their working conditions should always be a priority!

Impersonation is a crime. In saner climes, he would be arrested and jailed.
