Meanwhile, the D light is blinking and after I scanned it, it is showing P0753 (shift solenoid A circuit electrical. Pls any advice or way-out. Secondly,what's the best gear oil for it. I recently got this type of civic 2003 last month, drove fine and fuel economy is fanstastic. However, this week it started stalling and CEL popped up, scanned and got P0336 crankshaft sensor error, my mechanic replaced with toks crankshaft sensor produced by Denso which also failed after like 2 days of usage.car would stall, you restart, car will go a few distance and stall again.
Pls do you have any sure plug of getting confirm toks OEM crankshaft sensor for the car?? thanks in anticipation of your response.

This is only for motivational purpose alone.. Just got a new baby... 2003 civic for uber will be landing in July or so .. This is to motivate people out there.. Think outside the box ,it is not easy if it was easy everybody will be doing it... am here to motivate people out there. Whatever you are doing now and you not happy.. Motivate yourself God will not come come down to hold your hands... work smart and just do it ....TMC .....The Marathon Continues.... Keep in mind I have a female uber driver, if she can do it, you can do it too ...

Hello, sorry for taking your back, want to ask, did changing the crankshaft sensor finally resolved the problem, it never came back?

sir I was thinking since the fan is direct, the CTS won't be able to tell the brainbox that the engine is warm, temp. gauge is working...pls pardon my curiosity

Hello sir, pls find attached, Mazda 626 2000 model.
1. is the idle normal?
2. noticed the tailpipe is always wet, even on hot drive, if you park n check the pipe it will be wet with water traces around the pipe, watery. no oil traces.
3. the engine pops out whitish-blueish colour in the morning or starting engine after being parked for a long time.
4. like every 10 to 11months, I always get engine misfire and the cause is always fouled spark plug on the same cylinder 1; I think .....I mean the sparkplug on that same spot is always getting fouled..that same spot, never had any cause to touch the other 3.

so, what do you think is happening in 2, 3 & 4 above...and the number 1 too.

I've been advised to be driving the car like that instead of spending n allowing carzims around to dismantle engine...but I want to know what's going on with my Mazda.

NB: - engine still operating n accelerating like toks and doesn't short oil even with extended oil change interval or service.

I have the same issue with my car,same model. Mazda 626, 93 model.

When I start the car early in the morning or after parking it for extended period of time, thick smoke comes out of the exhaust but it disappears after driving for like 5mins or less, the smoke clears totally.

Car drives fine and idles fine too.

Kindly help

Goodmorning Nairalanders , especially doctors in the house. I have a very serious case of bad mouth odour that has persisted for a long time, at least 8years.

Sometimes I have to brush as many as three to four times a day and bad enough, it will still be there.

Occasionally, I remove some yellowish smelly stuffs from my throat and after sometimes I see them again. Also of late, I have persistent headaches even without fever, even when I wake in the morning expecting to be refreshed, the ache will still be there. I don't know if these are related.

I have seen two or three doctors and normally there give me antibiotics and recommend mouthwashes. Now it is still here an am worried and depressed.

I am in my late 20s and this has affected my life in ways space will not permit me to write. I just cannot function well anywhere because I cannot talk for fear of the odour. My social life is zero, and I am almost always alone.

Please advice me if you have or know someone who has experienced this, or you are an expert or you know something I can do to be free from this. Its so bad its the only item on my new year prayer. I don't want to spend another year in this. Thank you all in anticipation.

1- Driver with AC on
2- Driver with 3 passengers (all adults) with AC off.

Air is being introduced to a closed system. You have a leak, could be from anywhere within the system.

lately I noticed the power steering fluid was getting low. always on the low mark. so I have been topping up the fluid till I have time to locate a competent mechanic in this town. If I top up before leaving for work by next morning I will find the fluid level on the low mark... just by the following morning.... so today I topped up the fluid and started the engine just to observe wetin dey shęlę gan gan with the fluid, so while engine was running I opened the fluid reservoir cover and I saw that the fluid was foaming pink foam. the foam started goshing out cos my broda started steering left & right. the goshing out stopped the moment he stopped steering but the foaming persisted... pls what & where can we check, our mechanics around may first ask us to change fuel pump ontop this issue. pls airpus

For NPower not to pay them, the management is already breaching their contract. And it's wrong.

Admitted, the language the guy used isn't the best under the circumstances. However, the fault still falls back on NPower team for not keeping their side of the bargain. You cannot beat a child and ask him not to cry.

The problem with most Nigerian employers is that they are aware there's a massive unemployment problem, so they are cashing in on the situation. Most Nigerian employers feel they are doing their workers a favour, which is a wrong notion.

You see, any graduate who accepts to do an NPower job of #30k is UNEMPLOYABLE...quote me anywhere. As an instructor in my former job, I remember visiting NYSC camps to tell these guys to acquire skills at subsidized rates, but they would rather use it to buy clothes, chase after girls, booze and do other frivolous things. When they pass out from service, they will realize that they are unemployable.

The NPower management is well aware that most of the enrolless cannot fit into the industry, hence they accepted the government offer. No doubt, this is why the guy behind the handle is RUDE. A rational person will start by apologizing to the enrollee, reassuring him that they would be paid soon. Afterward, the enrollee will be impelled to apologize.

pls what is causing this:

After parking my 206 for over 20minutes or early in the morning, it will become hard to start.
I do have to crank like 4 to 5 times before engine will start [even after priming fuel pump 10X].
But whenever I take a quick stop maybe to buy fuel or somtin, the engine starts instantly.
I don scan, no fault, no Check engine light.
So car sits for a long time; it bcoms hard to start. But when im already on motion and take a stop, engine starts immdiately. Abeg hep what's causing the hard start after car don sit for over 30mins or overnight.

That completely rules out fuel pressure.

At this point there's little I can do remotely.

Start by checking Cylinder compressions, it is very possible engine takes more time building compression on the first cycle.

You could have a carbon buildup in the valve area.

this is just a guess.

After the 10th prime, i cranked but the engine only started on the second attempt. Pls what can be done to make the engine start as cranked on first attempt. thanks sir

Yes sir, I have tried to prime it but didnt start right away. Yesterday i primed it 3 times and i had to crank twice before engine started. When i put the ignition on, i hear the humm sound from the fuel pump, i did it 2 more times and cranked the engine but it didnt start right away. Whatelse can be done sir. I want my engine to start as cranked sir.
The only time i enjoy crank and start is maybe when i park suddenly to receive a phone call or anytime i have a brief stop, in this case it usually start one time!!!

Engine type? Try priming before starting next time.

Hi Gazzuzz, my engine either on cold or hot start, does not always start right away. It cranks good but does not always start on first attempt.
Most times it will crank and start but engine will shake and die off. Its a 206. Battery is good sir. Its a TU5JP4

Hello Bros, pls I noticed my turn signal sound is gone. I mean I no longer hear any audio sound from my dash e. g. Like when I keep the door opened with the key inside ignition,when the emergency light button is pressed etc... That very sound frm dash shey you grab sir. I noticed it's not been there since I bought the pojo car.{206}
The indicator lights are fine... It's just the sound I'm talking about. Thanks as always.

Hi Gazzuzz, if the cooling fans are still factory connected but the thermostat removed, could this wrong settings cause the car to go beyond 100'C in traffic? It's a 206 TU5JP4. Temp drops when car is back on motion.

Dear Gazzuzz my 206 instrument cluster and CD player will just go off & come back On, the dash, fuel guage, temp guage, tachometer, CD player, everything except the "AC controls & Display" will just go off. I have to park n restart the engine, it will work but b4 I shift to gear 3, they will go off again & come back & go off & come back. My kazo doesn't have a pp2000. Pls where can we look sir

Hello Gazzuzz, I have this issue with my 206.
The car overheats only at idle. It cools down as the car moves but once I hit traffic or stop the car without switching off the engine, Bang! It starts to overheat. The mecho already removed thermostat thinking it's thermostat issue but overheating persisted. I will re-install the thermostat tomorrow though. The fan is working.
Pls what can be done to solve the issue. Thanks

The Toyota Corolla is known for all round reliability and not a robbers magnet like it's predecessors. The 1.8L 1zzfe engine is a tank with its timing chain laser etched valve guides that engine is well built.

very reliable, fuel efficient, durable and body is well built.

As for the Capella mazda 626 it is rugged too as I can confirm but majorly the wagon type is what I know they use to move load like woods, planks and it is a favorite of the smugglers for smuggling rice, bales of cloths etc.
it has a 1.8L, 2.0 for Europe version both 4 cylinder

The Gbera engine (2.5L V6) is a wicked underrated engine very fast with good acceleration.

I did say your comparism isn't too fair as the mazda is the camrys equal not corolla.

I would say any you choose should be OK as long as it's a good specimen and you take good care of it.

but pick the corolla only for fuel economy, resale value and strong body frame.
