MsRoe. I'm sure you can see what I mean? Men offer almost everything in a relationship. So, until the day I read on front page: Woman buys 25 million Naira car for boyfriend to say thank you. Know that we men rock. |
Romance › Re: Is This True About Present Day Girls? by AHCB: 11:04am On Jun 16, 2017 |
MsRoe: Trevor Noah, my latest crush!
But the reverse can also be said, since we're generalizing.
Remove money from the relationship and 90% of men will have nothing in a relationship.
Remove sex (and cooking and cleaning) from a relationship and 90% of men will see no reason to be in one. On the contrary, since we're generalising, it's proven men offer more (money, protection, security, stability) in a relationship. So the bolded is null and void. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Nigerians Keep Patronizing Bukas That Use Charms In Their Food? by AHCB: 6:06am On Jun 15, 2017 |
No such thing as charm. Rumours are bound to spread if there are haters who are envious of the owner.
If the food the owner of the buka sell is sweet, people will come to buy it. There's no magic there.
However, I believe nigerians don't really act on rumours. If there is hard evidence such buka is using charms, I believe nobody will patronise her. |

Others are mere creations and thoughts of mere mortals.
You dig? Founded by Christ? I'm forced to ask how? Cos I know the Bible didn't say anything about Christ 'founding' a church. |

Quinn22: Yeah you are right about the eat today and not think of tomorrow aspect but don't you think the African kind of greed is way too much than the normal human greed because I've seen politicians in Europe that are greedy but not the way African politicians are, at least they think about their people and about the future. Greed is greed. I tell you, the greed of the white man is just as dangerous like that of the black man. If you check the capitalist tendencies of the white man, you'll visibly see this. However, what stops the white man from exploiting his fellow white man is because the law in the white man's country works. While that of ours doesn't. |
Politics › Re: #restructure Nigeria by AHCB: 2:26pm On Jun 14, 2017 |
Quinn22: Yea and that poverty mentality relates to personal greed, if you know what I'm saying Personal greed? I think not. It's all about expanding ones mind to stop thinking small. The mind of a Nigerian is basically concerned with what it will eat today, nothing more, nothing less. Let's not forget, greed is something possess by almost every human on this earth. |

amyzon: Restructuring Nigeria is the only way. It is not the fault of buhari nor Jonathan or even obj. If we don't restructure , we will keep failing. It is not about who we elected nor tribe , it is about the system of government that we are practicing. Nothing good can ever come out of the system we are practicing What good is a system when the people controlling the system are corrupt than the word corrupt? |

TheUmbra: I'm afraid Nigeria is a mess! Every security force in the country has modelled itself after the the Nigerian Police force whose bread and butter is the mounting of road blocks and extorting money from motorists under funny pretext. It was never to watch the road for dangers and criminal activities. The FRSC has been a good student of the Nigerian Police force. I believe their grand master of all is Nigeria Customer Service. Here, colleagues even go as far as using 'juju' on themselves just to salvage whatever they can from bribery and corruption. Brother, Nigeria is a mess is an understatement. Nigeria is now synonymous to everything that is anti progress and evil. |

amoduganja: This is serious!! I think this information is not good for public digest. It might embolden other kidnappers to up their game and target very rich clients and then go for mega ransom. Tell them. Nigeria media don't care about anything other than traffic. Even displaying the picture of the leader of Intelligence Response Team and his family is bad. They never know the family might just be attacked by people who still have some axe to grind. |

TonyeBarcanista: This sound like Bollywood stuff.
How can you say there were policemen at the place the officer ran to? Where were these policemen when the first shot was fired? where were they before the guy ran out of the room? This is pure nonsense Easy for you to say. If you've ever been in the line of fire, you'd know what is to feel adrenaline rush through your body. All you do is shoot your fingers off and type nonsense. |
