A Ugandan pastor and his wife have been nabbed for the reportedly killing a 4-year-old girl, Trinity Nakisuyi Nabirye Zabeela for ritual.

Prophet Joseph Sserubiri and Felista Namaganda of Deliverance and Healing Ministries in Kakira Market Zone, Kakira Town Council, Jinja, were arrested on Sunday, December 5 and admitted to have killed the child with the motive of establishing a powerful church.

According to Uganda Police Force, Nabirye went missing from her father, Mr Mulodi John's home in the same zone on September 30, 2021.

A case of disappearance was registered at Kakira Central Police Station vide SD Ref. 49/01/10/2021.

Photos of the alleged killers of late Sylvester Oromoni a 12-year-old student of Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos has emerged online, also revealed were the faces of the top management staff of the school.

Habib Aliyu, a suspected hacker has confessed and revealed the mystery behind the easy hacking of people’s bank accounts through the stolen phones of such victims.

Habib Aliyu was arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command when a gang of notorious armed robbers alleged that he was one of their frequent receivers of stolen goods. They alleged that Habib and several others still at large normally collect the SIM (Subscribers Identification Module) cards from them and withdraw money from the owner’s account.

He was tracked down and arrested in Mushin area of the state and he confessed to have used the SIM cards in those stolen phones to steal money from the accounts of the victims. He also revealed the roles played by some staff of five new generation banks whose responsibilities were to provide account numbers with money and codes.

In an exclusive interview with Saturday Sun, Habib Aliyu who is 29 years old, claimed that he was recruited by a syndicate made up of notorious armed robbers and phone hackers.

His words: “My name is Habib Aliyu and I am from Ogun State, I dropped out of school when my father died and there was no other way to survive. After spending so many years in the village with my mother, I was sent to go and learn plumbing work at Mushin area.

I had learnt the work and could fix a pipe without supervision, so my boss would send me alone to his customers.

“Two years ago, I was sent to a house in Mushin and when I got there, I met so many boys with computers. I knew that they are yahoo boys and they were discussing about SIM cards. I managed to join the conversation and was lamenting how I had suffered and would like to succeed in life. I was asked to join them but that I must join their cult group. We will be able to know if the person uses birth date as pin. The BVN number can be gotten from any phone with ease.

An author who was placed in an induced coma for 3 weeks has claimed she went to heaven and hell while unconscious.

Kathy McDaniel had been placed on a ventilator after suffering lung failure and medics feared she wouldn’t make it.

Before putting her into an induced coma, the last thing the doctor told her was to go to sleep and that she wouldn’t remember a thing.

On Monday Osun State Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode, disclosed that the son of Dr Ramon Adedoyin, owner of Hilton Hotel who is now at large, organised the throwing away of the body of Timothy Adegoke, a Masters’ Degree student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, into the bush after being found dead in the hotel.

Suspected ritualists brutally murdered an 11-year-old Almajiri identified as Muhd Yunusa in Bauchi State and made away with his brain. 

The killing occurred in Dutsen Kofar Wambai area in the Bauchi metropolis on Saturday, November 20. 


According to Nigerian Tribune, the assailants had called two Almajiri pupils who were going about begging for alms and lured them into a dark corner pretending that they wanted to give them something.

Singer, Davido reportedly disgraced the Big Brother Naija star, Nengi Hampson Rebecca at their hotel in Dubai.

This was revealed by Instagram blog identified as ifeomafinegirlobosi, who said that Davido and Nengi are currently together in Dubai.

However, on Thursday, after having fun at a club, Davido is said to have taken five white girls back to their hotel room and consequently locked Nengi outside.

It was also disclosed that all efforts to get Nengi another room was futile and Davido’s boys had to take her to another hotel. James Olanrewaju, a Nollywood actor, also known as Baba Ijesha, has denied his confessional statement in the child defilement case brought against him by the Lagos State government.

Olanrewaju told Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Lagos Special Sexual Offences Court, Ikeja, during his trial-within-trial that he signed the statement under duress, Tribune reports.

An embattled five-day-old baby girl, is lucky to be alive after she was rescued from a drain where she was left to die in Mumbai, India. authorities say.

Police said residents found the girl who is now recovering in a local hospital, after a group of cats gathered at a spot along the road and began creating a ruckus - hissing, and purring loudly.

Police officials are now investigating how the baby ended up in the drain.

The baby was rescued by a women-led police team from a suburban Mumbai neighbourhood on Sunday, November 14.

When the police arrived, they found the infant lying inside the drain. They said the baby - dressed in a flimsy shirt and soaked in sewage water - was wailing in distress.

Two officers then scooped her out, wrapped her in a cloth and took her to the hospital.

After vomiting blood in the toilet of a well known hotel along the Ughelli axis, East-West Road, in the Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, an unknown male guest has died 

According to newsmen, the victim died in one of the hotel toilets around 2pm on Sunday and his corpse was removed by his family around 8pm same day.

The circumstances leading to the death were still unclear as of the time of filing this report.

A source, who claimed to be an eyewitness, alleged that the deceased was a guest at the hotel for over six months before his death.

“He might have died of food poisoning or drug overdose,” the source added.

The management of the hotel, however, denied claims that the victim was poisoned, saying he died from tuberculosis.

The hotel also insisted that the guest did not lodge in the hotel, but only attended a wedding reception at the hall on the premises.

The general manager of the hotel, who identified himself  simply as Samuel, told journalists that the hotel was operated by a management different from those in charge of the hall.

He said, “The family confirmed that the guy had tuberculosis and that his death was as a result of his health issues.

“The police from the Ughelli ‘A’ Division were contacted immediately. They came and even took shots of the scene, the bloodstains on the floor of the hall, and the toilet where he died. The family came to collect his remains and confirmed to us that he was a tuberculosis patient.

“It was in the process of the wedding that he started coughing. Many Ughelli people were there and they can confirm that it was not in the hotel, but in the party.

A commercial driver in Ebonyi state is currently on the run after he bit off and swallowed the finger of Iboko Kenneth, a task force member in the state who was trying to get him arrested.

According to reports, the incident occurred at the Onuebonyi Junction in the Abakaliki metropolis, when the Ministry of Capital City Development and the taskforce team were on an inspection tour within the state capital to stop illegal parking and loading of passengers.
