fergie001: The annoying part is that an Ikwuano son was House of Reps member there from 2015-2023.
This same man is a Board member in the North East Development Commission yet that road has been a deathtrap since the mid-2000s.
A Minister under Buhari was also from that LGA but only tarred into his own compound, yet on the same road you have a Federal University and 3 other Federal Institutes. Make Una continue.......
[quote author=Chilipepper post=137182646]Japa: 40-Year-old man set to leave Nigeria dies in suspected hit-and-run hours before his flight.
So sad!
I saw a male Body laying lifeless today on airport road. It was likely a hit and run incident. He was to check in his flight due for take off for 2pm by 8am today via Egyptair. His phone wasn’t in sight so it must’ve been stolen. Attached is his international passport. pic.twitter.com/9ehB1ieKRA
This Canadian team is at best average. Our own team is so disorganised. A far cry from the performance we presented just a year ago. Where did the coach pick this bunch from? The only recognisable person their is Shakirat Moshood. Where is Chidi Harmony? I thought she was 15yrs old last year?
solonnachi: I don't understand. Were they holding crusade and altar call when the game started?
The Canadian girls settled down early and ready for kickoff in very high spirit while our girls rushed into kickoff after their long prayer and crusade and were still trying to settle down into the game and then team that had the psychological edge from the kickoff took the lead in less than 90secs.
The coaches better talk to them. Nigeria, with our pedigree at youth levels should be aiming at winning this tournament this time. We are tired of quarter final exits each time
See Dangote with all the money in Africa.... Baba dressed so simple
See the Hustler that is standing by him... The Nigga dress like say na him be No 1 for Africa.
The Truly Rich don't need their outfit and clothes to announce their status..
Na poor man and poor man Pikin dey dress up to look and feel Rich
A rich man has nothing to prove. Na poor man go dey always take dressing to measure up. If na Reno dress the way Dangote dressed, na you go still say he was supposed to have dressed up for the occasion.
MightySparrow: I knew it, we igbos are marginalized as always.
9 out every 10 houses in Lagos belong to igbos 89% of all small and large scale businesses belong to igbos. The air you breathe in Kano, Kaduna, are manufactured by igbos.
See the peanut FAAC is using to pay us back.
May Allah punish Nigeria for us on behalf of Chukwuokike.
ChrisKels: Maybe it is delusion due to patriotism but I keep having this feeling that Nigeria will eventually emerge as the winners of this our group.
That can only happen if Zimbabwe beat SA today and we beat Lesotho by 2 or more goals. Even if Benin beat Rwanda today (which would be very tough), we beat Benin with enough goals to overtake them on Goals difference. With this permutation, all top three teams can end up on 17pts but goals difference will decide
TheSuperNerd: Kparobo Arierhi did what I expected him to do as a Number 9. Play for the team. Use your pace, power and ball skills to give us a fighting chance. He didnt score yet again yesterday but I see the desire to step up in big moments for the team.
Kparobo's strong CF play flooring and getting past a highly rated Aston Villa CB prospect, Yervann Mosquera gave us the shooting chance to get the penalty Maigana won. More of such plays and desire by Kparobo and the goals will surely come. This is a young kid. A genuine 18 years old who is already up and running in Norway with goals.
I am not deceived by his lack of goals just yet. The desire is there and he is playing strongly for the team. Patience with the lad... I know what I see in Kparobo. He is the genuine article and in a few years, all will see what I see already.
#FlyingEagles2025
Good analysis, but I think Kparobo is overrated. This conclusion is easy when you compare the team with Flying Eagles of yester years.
Oga I say pack well make we see road. You have to worry about your Ghanaian team with Mali and Comoros breathing down your neck. We are Nigeria, we know how to turn things around.
bingbagbo: Nigeria's current national team is extremely mediocre. It is made up of mainly below average players whose real standards are masked by the fact that they play abroad.
It was no coincidence that they drew with teams like Zimbabwe and lost to teams like benin. Actually, that is Nigeria's true standard now.
Nigerians have overhyped their players thinking they are some superstars. If you watched the last AFCON, you would see how mediocre their victor osimhen is. He missed a number of chances a true striker cannot miss. Meanwhile, he has no foot works but only relies on physical strength. The Nigerian team has no creative players especially midfielders, they are too rigid and cannot compete at the world cup level.
South Africa will beat Nigeria on Tuesday and Rwanda can beat Nigeria today. Nigeria must accept their true status: average and below average.
Good afternoon
Oga pack one side and worry about your Ghana team.
We are Nigeria, we know how to turn up the heat when needed.
oluwaseyi0: If Libya is 43 naira can't we import massively from there ?
The product is being subsidised for Libyan citizens. If Nigeria wants to buy from them it would be given to us at the international market rate which will not be much different from what we currently buy.
After five years of dating, a young man finally decided to propose to his girlfriend.
To everyone’s surprise, she turned him down on the spot.
The emotional moment quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions online about love, rejection, and what it really takes to build a lasting relationship.
You think it is like Nigeria where you build properties any how without submitting building plans. Sorry Mr George Asaba, I hope you can still rise from this storm.
OgaStory: Arsenal's season has gotten off to an amazing start, 2 matches, 2 wins , 5 Goals scored , 0 goals conceded and the gunners are sitting at the top of the Premier league table. However it seems the evil forces have come out to play very early in the season, Captain Odegaard was forced off with an injury. Shortly after, star player Bukayo also had to be subbed off. On a day when new striker Gyokeres opened his scoring account for the club, the immediate question was if Arsenal was prepared now to cope without Saka. Last season, the gunners suffered a lot in his absence as Odegaard could also not find the right form.
Saka is set to miss the games against Liverpool, City and Nottingham Forest.
Now we are about to find out if they are better equipped especially with the addiction of Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze (Who was unveiled before the Leeds match). Eze who can play as a 10 and also off the wings should be the obvious replacement but there is also Nwaneri who has been assured of been a deputy to Odegaard this season. Not to mention 15yr old sensation Max Dowman who came off the bench and won a penalty on sunday (Though it night be a little too early for him).
My Prediction is Eze starting on the left against Liverpool and Nwaneri slotting in midfield alongside Declan Rice and Zubimendi. What do you think?
Now we find value in Arteta's purchasing of Madueka. He starts at thd right and Dowman as potential substitute.
