Bannedlargejr: Why are people hell bent on advocating for nwabali to be dropped when he hasn’t made an error? There’s an adage that says “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” presently, nwabali has excelled at his position and regardless of his league status, he presently deserve to remain as the number 1. Dropped for who kwanu? |

charlesemeka85: which gradual process? U sure say u sabi football at all?
Are u changing the whole team with newbies or dropping 1 or 2 deadwoods for in form younger players?
The same Iheanacho that I doubt will even get minutes against Libya in both legs? Mk I see as his experience go help wen he will be glued to the bench 🤦♀️ Nothing wrong with infusion of 1 or 2, in some games. Look at the list released and see how many newbies and returnees we have already. You still want to drop Iheanacho for one of those names you are parading. |

Goke7: This is why am never in a hurry for any player to be dropped completely from the national team except the player truly has been in poor form for the national team(not club)
That’s how some people are already asking for Ndidi to be shown the way out. Very funny A bottle of Coke for you, on me If Eguavoen knows what is good for him, he should not fall for same temptation that made him field too many newbies in the return leg against Ghana in Abuja. |

Hv u watched iheanacho play for Sevilla this season? And if you hv does he merit an invite to the super eagles base on current form?
Experience head against Libya abi Brazil? The experience of iwobi, ndidi, ekong, aina etc aren’t enough for the team? This season, you said? That is how many games? Bro, national team football is different from club football. We know what Iheanacho can offer this team. You cannot just throw him off the bus because he has had an average start to a new season. |

charlesemeka85: Invite in form and productive players noooooo but every international break na redundant legs we keep seeing called up
I knew France will do whatever it takes to snatch Ilenikhena from us and it’s on the verge of happening 🤦♀️ Infusion of newbies into a team should be a gradual process. You don't just flood a team with new players with every international break. |

codemaniacs: Cyriel Dessers, Tolu Arokodare, Victor Olatunji, Gift Orban, Yira Sor, Nathan Tella all had better goal record than Ihenacho over the past 2 years.. As a coach, there are certain positions you find your team in a game and all you need is an Old Fox, who is experienced with the national team and on the continent, to turn things around. I respect Eguavoen's position on calling Iheanacho. Besides, also, there are already a good number of new players and returnees in the team. |

mekabuachi: Can you please explain why? We know that Tactically Eguavoen is "not there yet" . He cannot lead the Super Eagles to the World Cup. At the 2022 AFCON, Look at how an assistant coach of Tunisia with COVID-19 depleted team completely unbundled Eguavoen tactics and he had no plan B. |

DrKlever: There is absolutely no tactics that will favour Boniface over Osimhen. I hope AE won't regret this decision by bringing in Osimhen when we are chasing the game. You get it |

Goke7: easy man, if osihmen starts firing blanks, we will still complain, let's not forget he also wasted two chances in the last game. For now, until he's back to full fitness, he should come in as a substitute after reading the game. It's also an advantage when the opposition is tiring out and he comes in to push them to the edge. Did he show signs of lack of match fitness in our last game? I agree Osimhen misses chances but Boniface hardly gets into the game not to talk of missing chances. I criticise Osimhen majorly due to inability to time his runs and missed chances but I will take that ahead of a Boniface that you will hardly identify on the pitch. |

TheGoodJoe: Augustine Eguavoen relies a lot on long balls from deep and that is why he keeps picking Victor Boniface.
Keep in mind, they have not trained long enough to refine tactics. Maybe with time AE will adopt a smoother transition pattern and it might favor Osimhen. Let us be patient if he starts Boniface but Osimhen remains my pick. There is no tactics here, Eguavoen just wants to prove one yeye point that he is in charge. Osimhen's absence really affected our 2026 WCQ games. Victor Boniface has been given enough time but is still yet to impress. Osimhen's ability to press and disorganize defences is so priceless. His physical presence alone is a problem to the defence. I hope we will not be chasing the game before Eguavoen will be thinking of bringing in Osimhen. |

DeLaRue: So called 'Malta' price was heavily subsidised by NNPC.
Now NNPC has announced they are in massive debt, may be as a result of the subsidy it was paying.
With Dangote, it seems subsidy is finally going to go away or be reduced substantially.
If Republic of Benin, Ghana, Niger Republic etc can buy fuel at over N1300 per litre, we must be willing to accept N850 or more per litre in Nigeria unless we want subsidy to continue and we bankrupt Nigeria.
Cheap petrol is not a constitutional right or an entitlement. Right |
