New Drama Alert!!


You know I always keep it 100 here...lol..So here comes a new drama (actually a saguek) and it's rolling out after Shine or Go Crazy...

The drama is called [size=16pt]SPLENDID POLITICS (HWAJUNG)[/size]


It's starring Cha Seung Won and from what I see he's a really handsome popular actor...I'm looking forward to this. Because I'm saguek-freakish like that.

It's supposedly about the usual palace politics - hence the name. A princess is in the center of this drama---apparently she loses her brother and her claim to her throne thanks to a mean step brother, who happens to be Cha Seung Won??


I don't know much details but it's coming up April 13.

I'm still hooked on Shine or Go Crazy. Can't believe I've never seen/heard of Jang Hyuk before now. I need to do a post about him soon on my blog. He was impressive in Chuno, just finished that. I also saw his movie on Youtube just a day ago, titled The Client. I have to go watch Fated to Love You because I hear he killed it there.


I wonder how this Hwajung drama will turn out? That Cha guy's moustache though...

God bless you. That Gayageum music sounds very boring to me, maybe because I'm not used to it.

Another thing that happens in saeguks is the torture scene, where they are wearing their white clothes -soaked in blood by the way- and tied to a chair with a RED rope. Their legs are tied, and their laps are almost forced apart with heavy wooden sticks.

Sometimes it's like you read my frigging mind girl...those torture scenes, I was just thinking about those today while watching Chuno...must they always wear white? And must they always use those wooden logs to force their thighs apart?? (still trying to figure out just what is torturing/painful about that...but the people always scream like hell though...LMAO)

Always using red rope to tie them is a sure one. Also, 9 times out of ten if someone important is about to get hanged or is being hung, he/she will somehow miraculously be rescued from hanging....LOL

One thing that makes me laugh though, is in the historical/period dramas where someone will be playing those their strings instruments...the music always sounds funny but people will look like they are enjoying it like in Dong Yi, Hwang jin yi and even Empress Ki when the koryeo king was playing the instrument. gahh I always laugh cos I don't really get it.

I feel just the same way I did when Obama won the US Presidency that first time...the elation was so high and I thank God for a peaceful victory for the General...

It sometimes goes beyond material things. Even when their fav idol puts a pic on SNS or paparazzi shots with something like a coffee, they all start buying and drinking that same coffee. It's really crazy in a creepy way.

LOL just like what I heard happened during the time Pinocchio was originally airing...where Park Shin Ye wore a particular wristband/watch and everyone in Asia was out looking for that watch. The company said it really boosted their sales

So, I'm reading that Korean youngsters have started copying LMH and suzy's paparazzi style for their dates. Dark sweater for the boys and big skirts for the girls complete with the face masks.
Now, all that face mask stuff was to hide from the paparazzi, but I think it's ridiculous for those fans to copy that.

I have watched Masters Sun,those ghosts were scary. So Ji Sub was an a** in the drama. I loved when Gong Hyo Jin used So Ji Sub's body to ward off those scary ghosts,they embraced many times,lol.

i dont want Rain to be chosen as Ha Ji Won's costar ,they better choose another good actor.

Yes that scene with them in bed and Hyun Bin trying to hold him self in check by chanting... Ugh so romantic how he respected her virtue until they were married.

It's like the norm is to make the guy treat her as mean as possible then make her fall in love with him in spite of his bad treatment. So many dramas like that.

I don't know that many actors but I hope they can find a good costar for Ha Ji-won 's new Drama. I heard Rain was being considered but, like you said I hope it's not him. Mmmm so then who??

Lol let's be honest Healer wasn't that perfect..sometimes the acting made you want to smash something. BUT. There's that magic of having the right leading man that can transform your viewing pleasure. Also, everyone had a backstory that touched me.

Min Ja Ahjumma who lost her sick child while she was overworking herself, the woman in the wheelchair who misplaced her baby, Healer who lost his dad and was abandoned by his mom..

The two brothers hiding a big secret.. Just so much history intertwined. Best of all was the fact that Healer and PSH were close as kids and had their sunbae as their older cousin who used to babysit them...

Not forgetting Teacher who raised Healer. I must say that of all the dramas that have come out in the last 6 months Healer is one of the top 3

i laughed out loud the first he sang this song. I enjoyed SE GA cos it made me laugh ,i loved the osts and everything about the drama. i will like to see Hyun Bim and Ha Ji Won in another drama.

Lmao that poem though... As if reciting it even did any good. My best part was when they were in that Lodge and he tricked his way into her bedroom and they fell asleep together. Secret Garden was the best chaebol - poor woman drama series. Next is Master's Sun. There's always a rich chaebol and a woman from a poor background..

Ha Ji Won is memorable in all her roles esp with the right costar. Can't wait for her next drama 7000 days. I hope they don't choose Rain as her leading man

Meanwhile, about Healer...obviously not everyone will relate to it or the way it showcased brotherhood, family ties, friendship, love, hope, survival and betrayal of the worst kinds.

Well well we can't expect to agree on every drama. But that doesn't mean either of us is wrong. We just feel strongly for different dramas. So take it easy ok, life is simple in Kdrama land LOL

The emperor was so obsessed with Nyang.I dont think that kind of love happens in real life. He stopped speaking when he thought Nyang died and started speaking when he discovered she was alive. i love empress ki so much.They were many memorable moments in the drama. Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won were so cute in secret garden I loved how he carried Ha Ji Won from the hospital into his car,and swapped their bodies,so cute.

If u remember what the emperor went thru growing up then u will understand why he was so clingy. His father was killed, he was exiled, his life was always threatened..he really endured so much and Sungyang was such a prop for him.

When Hyun Bin was chasing Ha ji won, that was my best part. I mean going to her school, following her on her trips and just forming Romeo, that was cuteness overload lmao

Healer is the City Hunter of today I guess...so It will be unfair to compare them, as they came out in different eras. Still, there's noone like JCW around nor has there ever been Wookie has this unique quality that makes you want to hug him and pinch him at the same time so you can hear him wail in that cutesy voice of his lmao

I think you should be patient with life. Forget about your sexuality for now. Just focus on your job, life interests and family/friends if you have them. Trust me problems are never as bad as you think. The fact that you are troubled now doesn't mean you will be that way in 2,3 or even 5 year's time.

I know everyone needs love and romance. You must wish for intimacy and attraction from someone you admire. Since you can't have everything you want as of now, just get on with life.

As for hating your sexual preference, well there's nothing you can do since you knew your sexuality from an early age. Either you make a conscious physical effort to go straight, or accept yourself for who you are. And hope someone loves you the way you are.

As for healer... Do you remember the episode Young Sin came to visit him when he was sick and mourning his master. He just couldn't keep his hands off her, holding her, hugging her... It was sooo cute to watch, I was just awww-ing.

As if u need to ask about that scene... I love when the male costar is nursed by his love interest. Watching her sleep.. Being all over her while she was trying to cook.. Even trailing her to the bus stop because he couldn't just let go..

And some wonder why Wookie stole our heart...

I love piggy back rides especially when the lady is drunk and starts running her mouth.
Those wrist and arm grabbing parts are to die for, especially in those intense moments when the girl is trying to walk away, and the guy just grabs her wrist to stop her. Woosh!

Plus have you noticed that those Chaebol fathers are almost always on wheelchair when being investigated by the prosecutors?

Not noticed about the chaebol father's, but we forgot to mention chaebol mothers who make the worst mother in laws

My week has been fine, thank you. Election break is just what I needed. I decided not to speed watch any drama for now, so I follow just 3 dramas on a weekly basis; Blood, Unkind Women and Bluebird's House.

I'm definitely speed-watching Shine or Go Crazy... Can't seem to stop lol u know my Saguek addiction.

Haven't started Unkind Women or Bluebird's House, sounds like fun.

Definitely catching up on Blood. I'm sad that Hyde and Jekyll Me is over.. Will watch the last 2-3 episodes this weekend. Peace!
