I just finished secret garden,cos u mentioned it here..wow the drama is chincha daebak I really enjoyed it...can u recommend any drama 4 me,not the ongoing ones(cos those ibo boys are sucking us dry,5episodes in one season,100n wasted,actually saw blood too..I just laughed, season 1-3,just wondering how many episodes will be in one season,when d drama is till on,like it's gonna reach season 6 or so lol)
Old ones,and city korean drama,don't really like village(too long and no ginger)

Wow I'm glad you liked Secret Garden...I don't know how many dramas you've seen, but I'm sure you've watched more than me. Still I will try to recommend some for you to check out. Also, don't mind me about the "Bloodmate" cos that's what all the fans of Blood call themselves at all those international online forums. So as a true fan that's why I joined. Since the vampires we are rooting for are the good guys I don't feel scared at all

As for those Ibo boys, kai if you know how many CDS I was buying weekly...they will just force some on you saying those dramas are cool. Imagine buying four or five dramas and each drama has 5 or even 7 series - so multiply an average of 5x4 = 20x100 that's over 2k I was spending on CDs regularly and some of them won't even come out the way you expect ie missing episodes, poor quality, cracked CDs etc. I actually used to pay #150 before I caught on, especially when they are selling to their close friends or customers, they will sell very cheap. So I got cheated a lot

Have you seen King's Daughter (Su Baek Hyang), Good Doctor, Bridal Mask, Hwang Ji ni, Iljimae??

I will have to do a list of the dramas I've watched, so I can better recommend them to others. Right now I can't really think of any that you may have not watched. Cos I'm sure you've watched all the ones I've seen

Aah Yoruba mother in law...you're lucky. All they like is respect. Kneel and greet her well well. Make sure you offer to help with whatever she is doing, whether washing clothes, cooking food, the dishes etc. Be very sociable because Yoruba women don't like 'quiet' or mumu girls. So you must know how to relate and have interesting convo.

And treat your husband well in front of her, eg respect him, cook nice African food for him and just smile 24 hours

that girl is so silly for her young age. She deserves all the insults. She really has a wrong attitude and it shows in her expression.

i dont like actors that are always stiff during romantic scenes. Thats why i hated yong hwa in heartstrings,same with Kim Hyung Joong in playful kiss, they were so stiff and awkward. i think actors and actresses that have chemistry in dramas are always comfortable with each other offscreen.

I haven't seen the two you mentioned. And I've not really watched any dramas with really bad chemistry. Rooftop Prince was really OK, I just noted some parts where he was acting weird but their romance was sweet to watch. Not to be compared with Ji Chang wook and Park Min Young in Healer though. That was chemistry of all "chemistrys"

If person claim am as a Nigerian some people will start to protest...all because he was born in US. I will still claim him shaa as a correct Nigerian guy he's doing 'us' proud

Ji Chang wook - master of chemistry I like that lol. Yoochun definitely acted awkward in Rooftop Prince and not just during the romantic scenes. I'm suspecting it had to do with how silly the drama made him look. But funny enough it made me love the drama more

No be only you see am oooo the guy was really awkward but the drama was still very OK. I just didn't feel any hot chemistry with him and his co-star in Rooftop prince and I blamed it all on the girl.

There is God . All I know is that I must get my Ruby Ring complete even if it takes another 1 year. It has 90 something episodes, and I'm on 60 something, so I'm waiting patiently for them to finish it.

Is Ruby Ring that good? I know the storyline's a bit unique but I didn't see really favorable reviews about it when I checked it out in the past. But it must be holding your interest for you to want to finish it.

Been reading up some latest kdrama news and I hear Yoochun is busy filming the Girl who sees Smells. Saw the update on dramarecap.com and they mentioned he said he feels awkward around his co-star because they haven't had time to 'bond' or relate/gist.

He shouldn't try that rubbish o Can't he learn from Ji Chang Wook? He really knew how to befriend his co-star and get to know her better for the sake of the drama. And it showed during the romantic scenes. Yoochun if you do like you did in Rooftop Prince eehhhhh

I was shocked when I saw Blood today o, these days, Alaba boys are not smiling.
What I mean is that old dramas still have a better chance of being complete than the latest ones. I don't buy ongoing dramas though, I'd rather download them. I bought Ruby Ring then, and it has gotten to S6, yet it isn't complete even though the drama finished early last year.

The bottom line is just that these guys are dishonest And about Ruby Ring...there are many dramas that the Alaba boys don't bother finishing especially if the ending wasn't popular or they just couldn't be bothered. I'd seen many dramas I liked that had up to 30 episodes but you could only ever find parts 1 and 2 (that's 20 episodes). The seller will tell you that season 3 is not yet available (even if the drama finished 3-5 years ago). This is common with many Chinese dramas lol The boys only dub the videos they know will sell the most.

That's true, the only complete kdramas you get from Alaba boys are the old ones. When Joseon Gunman was still airing, around episode 10 I saw season 4 in the market and I was like Even KMHM at episode 8 I already saw season 2.
Then just imagine if long Kdramas like Empress Ki were still airing, it'll reach Season 20! Thank God it only had 5 seasons though.

I just saw season 1 of Blood now, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have up to 6 episodes.

Blood has just aired its 8th episode. Could Alaba boys have already burned all 8 episodes unto CDs by this week? No. Not possible. I can bet it's just the first 3-4 episodes available in that CD you saw.

The seller I confronted told me if we stop asking for these ongoing titles, then Alaba boys won't be forced to meet 'demand'. All I know is, when people hear about a drama they like they go look for it and get hoodwinked into buying an incomplete season.

You said old ones are completed? As if I've bought kdrama series of titles that aired years ago but still get to discover several episodes missing. For example I invested in Great Seer one time and was busy watching it during my usual time - midnight and guess what a whole half of season 2 was missing from the second CD. I was so pissed because it was late at night, couldn't go get another one and didn't want to start on season 3.

Worst thing of all? Bought the CD again from another seller and it had the SAME problem. This was last year before I discovered online sites for watching.

I could go on and on but suffice to say, once I found gooddrama.net it was game over for buying CDs. Then of course when I found it was even better. Now I could download and watch again and again as opposed to watching online.

This happened to me TWICE lol especially since I didn't realize the drama I bought was still airing. I bought two CDs of Nightwatchmen's Journal and each had roughly two and a half hours. Not even three complete episodes!!

I challenged another seller about this and he blamed it on the customers always asking for a series that hasn't even been completed or hit the market. So they have to improvise. They need divine forgiveness.

Since then I never bothered to buy a single CD ever again. I get all my episodes online. Tired of buying like 5 CDs for one drama series. And still not get a complete collection.

You From the Stars- Why couldn't he just stay put? Which one is going and coming?

Prime Minister and I- How could the writers resurrect the dead wife and put a damp on the prime minister's romance?

Secret- This one had a good ending, but I wished they showed more of their romance.

I've seen only seen the first two and I agree. In Empress Ki they totally should have let us have that perfect ending but no, they had to keep it 'real'. Lol @ You from the Stars was gosh so annoying at the end.. So what happens, do they get a future together or what?? Soo frustrating lmao

With Ha Ji-won possibly considering a new drama soon I'll be doing a piece on her soon on my blog.

She's admired by tons of fans of all ages. She's possibly one Korean actor who can do a LOT of things very well.

It's not easy for a female to reach the top of her field and I know she ranks way up there along with the topmost of her Kdrama male counterparts.

I'll also do a review of Technicians with Woo Bin. I can't wait to know what u guys think !!

On the bright side, I'm happy for Producers (which I could have watched on the channel by the way), and I'm glad for Joseon Magician- though I'd have loved to see YSH in a drama first.
I'm calming myself down with Blood and re-runs of Healer though, seeing SmHoXy and Wookie does wonders to my blood pressure, lol.

I'm gearing to catch up on Blood episodes 7-8 today so I know how you feel. As for watching a Wookie re-run...just a few days ago I speed-watched Empress Ki all over again ))blush(( LOL
