Beremx:
I remember making similar similar comment that Fayose might travel to US just to mock Aisha Buhari. If he has the opportunity, he will. I wonder why he's been quiet. grin
I doubt if he would attempt it!

A classified US document obtained by SaharaReporters has revealed that the American government in February 2009 banned Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State from getting a visa to enter the US. It is unclear whether the ban remains in force.

Mr. Fayose added he was not aware of any continuing visa ban targeting him even though he admitted to our reporter that when he approached the US Consulate in February 2009, he was told to go and conclude his corruption trial. He stated that he had not applied to the US Consulate for travel ever since he controversially became governor again in a highly tainted election in 2014.

SaharaReporters learned that Mr. Fayose went into hiding for several months after he was impeached as governor of Ekiti State. He then approached the US Consulate on February 13, 2009, seeking a visa to visit the US for an “urgent medical issue,” but his application was denied.

my Whatsapp has kept counting and even when I uninstall it still counts please what do I do?
Activity that can lead to this temporary ban includes:
-Sending too many messages to users who do not have your number saved in their address books. Make sure that you ask all of your WhatsApp contacts to add your current number to their address books.

-Being blocked by too many people in a short period of time. Make sure you only communicate with people who want to receive messages from you.

-Creating too many groups that contain users who do not list you in their address books. Make sure that you ask all of your WhatsApp contacts to add your current number to their address books.

-Sending the same message to too many people. Use Broadcast Lists to send the same message to your contacts.

Please house? did anybody else pay 20$ for shipment of one phone. or 35$ bank charge?
i asked mikky about the free shipping he wrote about on the first page and he asked me if he was father chrismass.
Please is it a must i pay everything before i collect. cant i pay for some items and collect. then pay for the rest and collect?
Why are both of you dragging this issue unnecessarily?

Are the items ready for pickup? YES

@mikkyangel,give him the breakdown of his balance and don't get mad when customers seek clarifications especially if the breakdown is different from what they originally thought. Its not nice for you and your clients to be exchanging insults anywhere. Explain to him how the bank charges came about. I think you should also boldly state all your charges on the first page of this thread so that you don't have to repeat yourself all the time.

@millomaniac
Please, don't depend on free shipping services especially in this Buhari period. It appears you have an issue with the exchange rate he used to calculate the purchase. The exchange rate is open to fluctuations and this might have affected the transaction. Both of you can work out the bank charges.

I believe Mikkyangel has a fixed shipping charge and I know he gives discount over a period for selected clients. It is too late to start talking about the charge especially when the items have already been shipped. You can only address the issue if both of you agreed on a charge and he changed it at the point of collection.

Personally, I would prefer clients pick up all their items instead of handpicking at the point of collection. If for some reason you are unable to do so,talk to him and hope he reasons with you.

Abeg, make una settle this issue quick quick like gentlemen.

Just yesterday, I was going through one of Siena's tread about fuel economy then seun just challenge Siena that he should have use Nigerian concept of liter and kilometer to do its calculations despite that siena has already provided the conversation rate there

I think this a small calculation now that almost everyone can do

Haba, that thread was opened way before you even joined Nairaland. I don't see its correlation with the deactivation of one's account in 2016.

No. He hasn't deactivated. Siena, by observation likes to comment on challenging issues not "my radiator water has gone below the full mark, what should I do? "

Also, many threads nowadays are based on issues that have been overflogged in the past by Siena & other nairalanders either by expertise or experience but many of us just don't have the patience or perhaps, time to search. I suspect he's tired of repeating himself or too busy to do so.

Omisore surrenders, reaches deal with EFCC on alleged N1.3billion fraud

A former Senator and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Iyiola Omisore, was on Friday night released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission after he agreed to refund the over N1.3billion he allegedly received from the office of the National Security Adviser, people familiar with the matter have told PREMIUM TIMES.

The EFCC arrested Mr. Omisore in Abuja on July 3 for allegedly collecting the huge funds from a former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
The former NSA is being prosecuted for allegedly mismanaging billions of dollars meant to procure arms and ammunition for the Nigerian military which has in the past five years been battling a deadly insurgency in the North-East of Nigeria.
The PDP chieftain had since his arrest battled hard to regain freedom from the custody of the EFCC.

The anti-graft commission moved him to the National Hospital, Abuja, after he complained that his health was failing. He was however kept under close watch by two well-armed police officers.
Then his lawyers approached the Federal High Court in Abuja to press for bail but the court, on July 15, dismissed the application for lack of competence.

This week, the former deputy governor capitulated, those close to him said. He approached the EFCC and agreed to refund the money he was alleged to have fraudulently received.

On Friday, the EFCC granted him administrative bail after he struck a deal with the commission to refund the N1.3billion in installments.
He paid the first installment of N300million before he was allowed to go home, this newspaper learned.

Those familiar with the negotiation said before his release on Friday, Mr. Omisore issued a letter authorising his bank to release N170million to the EFCC, being the entire amount in his frozen account.

He also gave the anti-graft commission a draft of N130 million, bringing the first installment of the repayment plan to N300 million.

Mr. Omisore, a former deputy governor of Osun State and PDP flag-bearer in the 2014 Osun governorship election, will return to the Commission on Monday for further negotiations regarding how he would stagger the refund of the remaining one billion, our sources said.

Mr. Omisore had denied benefiting from #Dasukigate and had sued the EFCC, seeking N10 billion damages, after he was declared wanted in May.

However, according to our sources, Mr. Omisore, while in detention, admitted to collecting the sum from Mr. Dasuki.

Mr. Omisore, our sources disclosed, had initially claimed that the over N1.3 billion he received from Mr. Dasuki was meant for a certain parcel of land he sold to the office of the NSA.

The politician was however unable to provide documents backing the transaction, those close to him said.

EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached to comment for this story early Saturday morning.

Mr. Omisore too could not be reached by this newspaper. But the Nigerian Tribune quoted him as saying after his release, “Thanks for your support and prayers. I also thank my supporters for their steadfastness. I’m back at home in Abuja.”

Politics › Re: Buhari To Probe Ibe Kachikwu Over Oil Swap Deals by aieromon(m): 7:28pm On Jul 19, 2016
President Muhammadu Buhari has appealed to “discerning” Nigerians to ignore orchestrated attempts to sully the integrity of ministers and other senior government officials, who are being tarred with the brush of corruption without any concrete evidence, a statement by presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, said Tuesday.

According to the statement, the president was reacting to reports, particularly by online media, that the immediate past Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), who is also Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, is being investigated over crude oil swap deals and gas liftings during his tenure as GMD of the petroleum corporation.

President Buhari appealed for decent and civilized comments, particularly when it has to do with the integrity of those who are serving the country, Mr. Adesina said.

“Terrible and unfounded comments about other people’s integrity are not good. We are not going to spare anybody who soils his hands, but people should please wait till such individuals are indicted,” the president was quoted as saying.

President Buhari reiterated the administration’s commitment to probity, accountability and integrity, promising that transparency remains a watchword, which would never be trifled with, the statement said.
