Qudkom: You can get enough information here. And whatever it is you don't understand you can always ask.
Hints: 1. Go for a post graduate program and not any random diploma or certificate.
2. Go for a 2 year program.
3. If you have a good undergraduate cgpa seek programs in universities. That will aid your transition to other programs in the future.
4. Have a good sponsor and if it's a 3rd part sponsor then do well to prove the relationship.
5. Provided proper details and documents to back your study gaps.
6. You need a well detailed sop also. All the best. ...
Thank you for your response, Kind sir. I don't have a good cgpa so colleges. Got a physics bsc in 2017 but i want to do an IT pgd. I currently work in an IT position, and have avid interest in IT infrastructure. I have shortlisted a few colleges with 2-year pgd in This field. I've seen some people saying vocational courses are bad for visa application, how accurate is this? Should I stick to my guns or bite the bullet and do a more academic course? And also, I've seen online that co-op courses aid with employment opportunities, but is it a good idea to go out of my way to look for only courses with co-op or will I be okay without it?
Also, the consultant I spoke to suggested that IELTs increase my chances of getting admission and visa. But it seems I don't need it from the school's requirements page. Pls advice. Thank you (Sorry for many questions but it can be confusing)
OptimusPrime21: You are welcome brotherly, I will encourage you to do this yourself....everybody here did his or her by themselves..all you need to do is google "pgd schools that offer the course you have in mind and that's related to your previous degree and work experience " . den as u wait for the admission of such a school, u settle down and read from thread 14 to this present page to gain knowledge of all you need...I can confidently tell you dat the info u gain here, the visa consultant knows lil to nothing about them...
Hi guys, just stumbled upon this thread, I’m interested in a Canadian pgd. Please I’d like to ask, is it worth it to get a travel consultant to handle my application process? Or should I save money and do it myself? Pls i need some honest opinions. It seems there are knowledgeable people here and a lot of information to look back on.
lordfredrick: Well lionlee, I would say these past few weeks of waiting for my items has been very horrible for me. Now before any of you come and start attacking me, this is my own personal opinion. This has been my worst with you and I pray it only gets better from here on. Let's start from the top, after waiting for weeks for the shipping to finally leave Chicago (which I understand is not your fault in anyway), it finally did and then when you uploaded list of items my name wasn't there. I quickly went to WhatsApp to lay my complaint and you then asked me if you confirmed pick up. I just quoted my payment photo as proof to you because I believe I wouldn't just send you money without you giving me tlc. You didn't reply again. On Sunday when you came to announce that items were already in Nigeria, I messaged again and you told me I would get my item. Now yesterday I messaged you and daaz just because I wanted to be sure that I would get my item today, you did your part and directed me to IBL for the laptop I had with you and daaz told me I would get my phone. I know I would pay money to pick up my stuff from IBL but then the phone part, I didn't even know where the phone was, only for your brother to call me this morning by 6:28 and his question after asking for my name was if I was ready to make payment. I mean I could have been told yesterday that was the reason I was asking a day before so everything would be in place. I messaged daaz immediately and he explained things to me.
Now the thing is the stress with the logistics of getting my items is just not cool for me. I have one laptop coming from you and one phone from daaz but I have to pick them from different locations. I would pay IBL money to pick up the laptop, the person sending the phone to Lagos, would send to oshodi and then I would still have to make arrangements on how to pick it up from oshodi. Please get an arrangement that works for the good of your customers. This Ibadan waka no follow but then what do I know. You always ask for ways to improve your service, one way is synchronizing this pickups/delivery as the case may be. This is just my two cents.
I just didn't want to say anything in good faith. Na for express I pick my phone today. The guy no even Park
