Watched Doctor strange yesterday. Has the normal formula of an original story but still remains interesting.
Fun ride from start to finish and quite a few more jokes than I expected. I'd rate it between 8.5 and 9.5.
Would be quite an experience to watch it in 3d. |

If it was an American I'm sure they would have plastered his name all over their site.

Was a fun first episode. Hope they make better use of Darhk this time. Maybe reduce his power a little since they're in the past. Also it will be hard to watch captain cold as a bad guy but might prove interesting.
Can't wait to know more about the JSA.
Glad they're were no Hawk people. I didn't need Hawk girl to remind me she was once a barista for the 1987789887378 time.

afrodoc2: This is what we have been saying for years. It is not that Fellaini is a terrible player, it is that he is just not United standard. And I don't think there is a space for him as a squad player because he is such a situational player and we cant plan to play like the old Stoke or Bolton.
Even the current darling Herrera is a squad player at best in that position for a club aiming to return to the higher echelon of European football. I think Herrera is a good fit for now. The guy might not be a world class midfielder, but you don't need world class in every position. Casmeiro is an example, he's not top class but he does his job and helps the team tick. Herrera brings something that many of our players now don't exhibit and that's passion for the club. He could be a very good holding mid if Mourinho can teach him discipline. He already has the other abilities like aggression, tackling, mobility, vision and technique. If he just gets that I can't think of too many AVAILABLE midfielder in the world I would pick over him to hold. Verrati? Can't think of anyone else. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by AikayDaWrapper(m): 11:06am On Sep 30, 2016 |
Fellaini is a major reason why the attackers don't perform well.
Players like Carrick and Blind release passes more directly and faster to the attackers thereby giving them more space to attack and do their thing. When Fellaini is on the ball he's simply too sluggish and by the time the ball gets to our attackers the other team has already organised their defence making the job of breaking them down harder.
Fellaini is not a bad player, he's just not united standard and his best role is box to box but man utd require more agility and technique in this position than he can offer. The guy should go to palace or Stoke. |

Oasis007: Players Rating
David de Gea 7.5 – A bystander for the overwhelming majority of the game.
Daley Blind 9 – Did brilliantly well at left-back and his corners were spot on. Assists galore. Never give Wayne Rooney another corner kick. My man of the match.
Eric Bailly 7.5 – Looked very sharp from the start. He reads the game so well doesn’t he?
Chris Smalling 8 – Captain on the day and that was a captain’s performance. Great goal to get it started for United and looked very strong alongside Bailly.
Antonio Valencia 7 – Still really needs to work on his crosses but with United smashing Leicester I’m feeling generous.
Ander Herrera 8 – Excellent and disciplined from Herrera. Maybe he can be our defensive midfielder this season?
Paul Pogba 9 – What’s that deafening silence? Ah yes it is Pogba’s critics. He bossed that midfield today and got his first goal. That’s the Pogba we’ve been waiting for.
Jesse Lingard 7.5 – I think he played a vital role today with his intense pressure on Leicester when they had the ball. We needed that sort of energy, good stuff from Jesse.
Juan Mata 8.5 – What a performance from Juan in the ‘Wayne Rooney‘ role. Thrived, inspired and led us to a wonderful win.
Marcus Rashford 8 – Another game and another goal for our kid. Can see he loves playing fast and flowing football and I love him. Love is all around.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic 7.5 – A very accomplished performance. I’d have lost my shit if he scored with that chest, turn and volley from Pogba’s flick in the first half.
Substitutes
Michael Carrick 6 – Came on to sure it up in midfield and see the game out.
Wayne Rooney N/A – Not on long enough to be given a fair rating but the fact we were so much better without him on the pitch says it all.
Ashley Young N/A Rashford should be a 6.5 or 7. Apart from the goal he wasn't really that good today. Agree with the rest of your ratings though. |

Everyone here appreciates what Rooney has contributed to this club but the truth of the matter is that he is finished.
I just laughed yesterday when the Northampton keeper saved a shot and the ball rebounded to Rooney and his first touch kicked the ball out for a goal kick. Any half decent player would have controlled that ball and given himself a chance to have another go at the keeper.
He needs to leave now to China or MLS for the sake of his legacy
I'm already forgetting how good he used to be. |

Danhumprey: I ask again. Is it that Mourinho doesn't favour a playmaker in his team? He started Fabregas in midfield and also used modric there so yes he does. Problem is Carrick is ageing and I don't think he would have made much difference yesterday. The reason why were so bad was not because we didn't have a playmaker but rather our attackers couldn't string together 5 passes together in the first half. Lingard and Mkhitaryan were woeful, Ibra was missing his layoffs and Rooney is just average as an AMC and limits our play. I feel if Herrera started yesterday things might have been different because he brought tenacity and energy when he came on. If Mou can teach him to be positionally more disciplined I think he could make an excellent 6 |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by AikayDaWrapper(m): 2:47pm On Sep 10, 2016 |
Mkhitaryan and Lingard let us down. We couldn't counter because they were both poor. Also, Rooney and Ibra up top isn't going to work against big teams if we plan to play on the counter.
Bring on the Europa league on Thursday let's trash someone.

SailorXY: how would you select from this group? I know the line up will be unchanged from last game tho. I'd go with a 4-3-3 (I'll like Mourinho to ultimately settle on this formation) personnel will be based on form of course
- - - - - - - - - David - - - - - - - - - Tony - - Bailly - - - - Daley - - Luke
- - - - - - - Schneiderlin - - - - - - - - - - - Henrikh - - - - - Pogba - - - -
Lingard - - Ibrahimovic - - Martial That team looks sweet although it's not going to happen. Baba Rooney must enter. But with that team Mkhitaryan can start counters from the centre while we have pace upfront in Martial and Lingard. |

tess1: The conspiracy theory that this guy is bringing up is an absurdity of the highest order.
That elbow by Aguero is totally a red card offence. That's why it generated so much media attention immediately after the incident. Former referees Graham Poll and Dermot Gallagher both said it's a red card offence. DERMOT SAYS: It's a red card. I can't defend the referee. I was taught, look at his fist, if a player is going to throw his arm out violently, he has to clench his fist. Will he face retrospective action? I honestly don't know, because none of the officials witnessed that act. It's difficult to say the referee has not seen that, but he has not recognised it. Until the FA speak to the referee, we won't know, because he hasn't even given a free-kick.
You comparing this particular one to the one against Sanchez is really laughable because Arsenal got a penalty for it while West Ham didn't get a free kick and Aguero didn't get a caution. This simply means the referee didn't see it.
If we must accept your opinion about the whole issue that the referee saw it, then Aguero himself must be a part of your conspiracy. Aguero must have been paid to throw such elbow so as for him to get a straight red card or be banned later (in case the referee refused to give him a red card). Why did Aguero throw that elbow to make your conspiracy work?
It is only when such things happens and somehow benefits Man Utd (in your opinion) that you people always bring up this conspiracy that Man Utd buys it's way to the top but when it happens other way round you people keep quiet as if nothing happened.
In April 2011, Man Utd played against West Ham and Rooney swore into a TV camera which the match referee Lee Mason saw as nothing and rightly did nothing about. The FA took up the matter which didn't have any punishment in their laws and gave Rooney a two-match suspension. This made Rooney miss our FA Cup semi final match against Man City which Man City won and went ahead to win the cup in the final.
This is what Harsley said about that as well: “I was in the same boat as Lee Mason that time when Wayne Rooney swore into a TV camera in a game at West Ham. No referee would have sent off for that, but Lee came under pressure to report that he hadn’t seen it but would have given a red card if he had seen it." What do you have to say about this? Always looking for excuses for their long drawn failure in the league. Guy I tire oh. The worst one of all was when Rooney got a red card in a PRE SEASON FRIENDLY and the F.A transferred it to the league. Yet no one came out to say conspiracy that time. |

kokaneprodigy: He won't be sent off! Did the elbow on Sanchez against Watford warrant a red? They did not give that guy a red because the F.A have changed the rules. If a player has committed a red card offence in the box that leads to a penalty the ref will give a yellow instead and the penalty to avoid triple punishment. Also the elbow on Sanches wasn't intentional. Agueros's was! |
