Diademk07: Which coach goes monitoring a player in another league when he has his own team to worry about? Why couldn't Nani stay back if he wants monitoring from the coach?
The only monitoring that's being done is to see if the said players has enough game time, especially in the case of kids that went on loan, not experienced players! Simple! I'm done arguing with you cause it seems LVG is your father and can do no wrong in your eyes despite the fact that he spent millions of the clubs money while playing brain numbing boring football without results. Will be ignoring your posts from now on and it's obvious that you are a troll. Looking for every chance to attack anything Mourinho does without even giving him a chance to showcase his squad. Good day. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by AikayDaWrapper(m): 2:10am On Aug 19, 2016 |
Diademk07: He chose to leave because he wanted to be starting in a team. It's no one's fault but himself.
Actually, a lot of things are laced in my previous post. I mentioned the loan and afterwards, the pre-season games. Why? Because there's absolute no way the coach could have seen a lot of him while he was on loan. Hence, he had to immediately impress the coach in the pre-season which Nani failed to do.
However, if he had stayed back, there would have been a lot of place he could have impressed the coach. For example, in the training or on the pitch. Kids goes on loan to get the experience, not experienced players such as Nani/Hernandez and once a player chose that route, he's already a goner. That's bull really. How can you be a good coach if you are not monitoring the progress of your players you sent on loan or atleast telling someone to monitor them and report back to you. |

Diademk07: The moment he left on loan for Lisbon, he already sealed his fate. Tell me how many experienced players, not kids went on loan and came back to play in the team under the same manager? He would have done well to stay back and fight for his role in the team.
Not to mention coming back to look shite in all the pre-season friendlies. He sealed his fate already. He shouldn't have gone on loan in the first place. Hernandez went on loan then transferred to Leverkusen and lit up the bundesliga. The main point here is that Nani would have offered us x100 of what our other right wing options offered last season. That is undisputed. |

Diademk07: What Superb loan spell? He was good at the start but tailed off before the end. After which he looked abject and poor in all the pre-season friendlies he played for us.
Anyway, Nani was talking about afterlife of signing a contract and the injuries. That was the exact time he left for lisbon. Pardon my language but playing well in pre-season doesn't mean sh!t. Nani played well in Portugal and I don't think he was given any chances in our second pre season under Van Gaal. The main point here is that Nani is/was a very good player (and he proved that in the euros where he was Portugal's star player) and LVG sold him without bringing in a suitable replacement. That reeks of poor team planning to me. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by AikayDaWrapper(m): 8:13pm On Aug 18, 2016 |
Diademk07: I thought you said Van gaal forced him out?
Does this statement look like it? Van gaal didn't just give him assurance and told him to fight for his spot, just like he did to Kagawa and Chicharito.
There's no way Nani would have fit into 3-5-2 tactic because that was the tactic Van gaal deployed at first. He had to cater to the needs of RVP and Rooney for the front 2 and Mata as the creative midfielder unfortunately, he realised both the ageing Rooney and Rvp are too sluggish to operate as the front 2 while Mata is more of a SS than a playmaker and Herrera is just too shite to operate in the role.
A harsh lesson I would say.
Funny enough most of all the aforementioned players are still in the team except Rvp. Guy your argument is null tho. LVG sold Nani in his second season. By that time RVP, Falcao and ADM had already left the club and Van Gaal had already ditched the 352 formation for the 4231. Nani was coming back after having a superb loan spell at sporting Lisbon and LVG just sold him for peanuts when our viable right wing options were Mata and Lingard. |

How can someone post a dailymail article and people will believe. Those guys are even bigger liars than goal.com.
I'm happy ibra is thinking of staying here for the next three years. His game time will surely start to reduce around his second season due to age and Rashford will step up.
The experience of having someone like ibra for as long as possible will help Rashford immensely. Mou definitely has plans for Rashers. The way he's been talking about him since he was appointed you would think Rashford was his son. |

Our case is different from city and Chelsea. Both of them are where they are now because some rich billionaire came and bought their clubs. I really thought he was going to make it that first season when he was dominating strikers left, right and centre. I still remember the match against Everton where he had Lukaku in his pocket. A change in environment is good for him sha. I think he'll turn out to be a decent PL defender. |

Reports saying Man utd have told Sunderland that Januzaj is only available on loan and we're not listening to transfer offers.
Personally I would sell him but include a buy back clause like real and barca do. That thing too dey make sense. The fact that barca bought back Denis Suarez for 3 million when he could have easily cost 20 is just awesome. |

FvckeDyoBiTch: I am not too happy with MOANINGHOE buying Bailly. If he felt we need a defender why not buy a player in the 26+ age range.
For crying out loud, Timothy fosu mensah is 18 and No 10 on best hot prospects in the world and only defender there.
This is poor judgement, Mo doesn't give a fvck about our youth. Fosu Mensah is eventually going to end up as a right back or a DM. Playing him in Central defence would be limiting his talents. Also this season is critical for Mou, he can't go into it trusting an 18 year old with little experience to be his first choice CB. Rojo is a pipe and Jones is a sick note so TFM is probably going to get plenty cup and Europa league games if he doesn't go out on loan this season. |

kokaneprodigy: So transfers done in the past haven't included agent fees and other add-ons. I bought a car for 3M what's my business deducting amount paid by the car dealer as duties, tax etc. the koko is I paid 3M for the car. By ur analogy I should tell pple I bought it 2M that the agent added his import duties, agent fee and tax to make it 3M. It's like u don't know it's too early to talk gibberish. The point I was making is that we spent only 89 million on this deal, whereas people have been saying we paid Juve 89 million and are still going to pay Raiola 15 million taking the deal to 104 million And why do people always resort to childish insults on this board? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by AikayDaWrapper(m): 7:05am On Aug 10, 2016 |
From the statement juve made I think we got a bargain for Pogba sef.
The full transfer fee is 89 million plus 4.5 million in add-ons based on performances. AND WE ARE NOT PAYING POGBA'S AGENT ANY MONEY. JUVE WILL PAY HIM HIS 15 MILLION FROM THAT MONEY.
So we basically bought him for 74 million. I'm sure they just added the agent fee to make it a world record. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by AikayDaWrapper(m): 9:42am On Aug 09, 2016 |
MrTA: Well no, its still around double his value. No way is he worth even close to 89m. Guy in this current transfer market that's his value. Leroy Sane has only had one season as a professional footballer and he wasn't even consistent and man city paid 37 million for him. Renato Sanches had one season in the Portuguese league, which isn't even a tough league, and he cost Bayern 40 million potentially rising to 80 in add-ons. Pogba is one of the best in the world at his position currently and could potentially be the number 1 midfielder in the world. He has four seasons of top level experience and has four Serie A titles and a few Italian cups. How isn't he worth 89 million considering all this? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by AikayDaWrapper(m): 8:58pm On Aug 08, 2016 |
Pogba is a box to box or attacking central mid.
As for blind when he played as a DM in LVG's first season his positioning was awful. He used to get pulled out of position all the time although he always had his phenomenal passes. Hopefully his stint as a CB has helped him improve that part of his game.
If he fixes that then there's no reason why he can't be our long term DM. |

Did people expect him to take off Zlatan or Fellaini when Leicester were pumping in balls left, right and centre. |

Diademk07: Lol!
You know I was on one manutd forum few years back and I was very vocal about not wanting Fellaini nor Mata who's more of a SS and also the fact that we had a better player in Kagawa.
And the few games I watched Cleverley and Welbeck when they emerged, I already formed my opinion on them. You know what happen then, almost all the forumites disliked my take because they thought I was very negative about their youngsters and their imminent signings. But as the case would turn out to be, I was right afterall.
It's not about singing any praise per say but I can quite tell if a young player is good or not. Or players that are good enough for the team. I didn't want Di maria either because he was a 6 month wonder as a makeshift box-box while depending on the control of Modric/Alonso in the midfield. Nor did I want Depay who was all about Pace at the worldcup and more of a poor man's Cristiano (I mean the new version of him at Madrid). Hence, I disagree that I will make a poor manager at any club. What forum? Redcafe? All I'm saying is that some of your points don't seem logical to me and you already seem to be against Mou before his tenure even starts. |

Rooney and Ibra have just played only 90 mins together and people are already judging. Same thing when we signed Tevez. They said two of them wouldn't work but look what happened.
I think part of Mourinho's game plan was pretty clear yesterday. Zlatan and Rooney will drop deep while the runs will come from the wings as we saw Martial and especially Lingard do consistently.
Rooney and Ibra also displayed some beautiful link up play.
Also glad Shaw is back. He doesn't look like someone that has been injured for 8 months. He's going to be phenomenal this season. |
