Yes Pogba is overrated a bit, but still he's one of the top ten midfielders in the world. Schneiderlin is going to play 6 next season definitely but right now we don't have a world class 8. Herrera can fill that position but he's more of a 10 to me.

Having Pogba and Herrera in the 8 position next season will be wonderful.

The thing is that matuidi is already 29. If we sign Pogba we'd be securing our midfield for the next ten years. Look at it this way, 80 million divided by 10 is 8 million per season. Even if he leaves the club before then we'll probably get a transfer fee of over 100 million for him.

The transfer market has gone crazy mehn. In a world where Batshuayi goes for 30 million, Watford rejected a 37 million bid for ighalo, Liverpool are still getting 31 million for Benteke despite the nonsense he played last season, and a player with only 35 la liga games (Bailley) goes for 30 million. I think 80 mill for a very good player who is on the verge of being world class is quite 'reasonable' given the current state of the market.

Also we'd get that money back in a finger snap via shirt sales and merchandising. The money in the EPL now is crazy, might as well spend it on the very best players. Barca, Madrid and Bayern have made us look mediocre for too long. Enough is enough.

Given the fact that we're in 4 competitions this season and are guaranteed a minimum of 46 games (potentially closer to 60) I think the younglings like Rashford, Fosu Mensah, Januzaj and Deepay will get enough chances this season also to impress.

I can't believe there isn't a thread on this show. It's an absolutely hillarious comedy, with a good storyline and interesting characters. Another hit from Netflix.

Season 1 and 2 already out so people can binge watch it.

People really need to get aboard and watch this series. One of the best things I've seen on TV in a while.

Would read later but one thing I know is for sure: after episode 5 of season 7 I'd wash my hands off the series. I resemble who kill Jesus? Most of these shows don't know when to call it quits and end up getting canceled. I prefer movies because they end whether it's at 01:45:00 or 04:59:30 there's always a full stop. Series on the other hand continue till they turn _shit, lose sponsorship or the writers conk out.

The writers have said they only have about 13 episodes left. So season 8 is definitely going to be the final one.
Also the 13 episodes will be split between the two seasons making them much shorter than the previous 6.

The manner in which Torres disgraced Bailey is unacceptable. Dude is a future Mangala.

Bailey is still young and learning and is going to be shown up by good experienced strikers.

Thankfully he has the physical attributes to make him a dominate strikers. And under Mou I am very sure he will develop the required tactical intelligence and become a top defender.

He's not yet the complete package but we have a diamond in the rough in our hands.

we have a lot of talented young boys playing football on the streets. We should build academies and train these boys to build our own team. Ihenacho is a very good example. We're even lucky Iwobi decided to represent us and not England and I'm sure that happened because his uncle is a Nigerian football legend.

we have better upcoming talent. I'm talking of guys that will be playing when Butland and Hart have retired. Cahill and co don't even fall under that list.

Butland still has more than ten years at the top.
Stones and Smalling are far better than any defenders we have now or upcoming.
Don't even mention midfield because that is a barren land for us.
Kane, Sterling, sturridge are still young and have many years ahead.

No they are not Nigerians. Nigeria should focus on building their own talents and not going to poach people from other countries

The English trained alli and Barkley right from when they were teenagers and that has made them the footballers they are today

None of our keepers are up to Hart or butland
Our defence doesn't compare to clyne, smelling, stones, Shaw, jagielka, or Cahill
No one in our team will hold midfield like Dier, or are as creative as Barkley, alli, Wilshire,
None of our attackers are as good as sturridge, Kane, Sterling, or vardy.
So please be realistic.

There's talent in this team but guys like Iwobi and Ihenacho are not yet ready to carry the hopes of a nation. And our midfield and defense are wack.

Who uses a two striker formation on FM 16 here. I find that the support striker doesn't drop deep enough to link the midfield and it really pisses me off.
