nihilistjnr: I don't understand how this isn't clear.
Highest goal scorer- Palmer Highest assister - Palmer Highest big chances created - Palmer Highest shots per game - Palmer Highest shot accuracy per game - Palmer. Highest throughball per game - Palmer
How is one man both the only finisher and only creator in the same team, when we're not Kane Era Tottenham? We are Palmer fc. The prayer is for Palmer not to get injured. Injured, that's when they will understand that without Palmer our attack is not better than Sheffield's. |

@bolded.... At least you are seeing our defence for what it is now. You have now seen the light. It's not just "fix the attack. Period". Try educate your boy Popizaino too. And against Burnley, your useless Sterling later came to waste the biggest chance to win it at 2-2, to Palmer's dismay. Boy had to voice out. The introduction of Madueke and Chukwuemeka yesterday completed the job as it created overload on Scummies and they cracked. Pochettino did what we asked for temporarily and our attack outscored United despite our disasters at the back. By summer, we should sack your Sterling permanently. |

nihilistjnr: I'm 100% convinced that you're team citadel with this stat.
And it's true though. Palmer is our highest goal scorer and assister this season - and half his goals are from the penalty spot.
It's hard to argue that Chelsea attack is OK, when our highest assister still has to bear the main goal scoring burden by relying very heavily on penalties, because no one else is scoring... Popizaino, help me tag our defensive Timbros on this. |

timbros: Airmark specifically said our attack is shyte. In his words, "fix the attack. Period." Since he made that comment, the attack have been scoring 2 or more goals consistently... Last night the attack scored 4. So logically, the attack have been fixed. Why are we still lamenting here every match day after attack have done their job?
Okay, last night, attack did their job in 20 mins but defence was hell bent on making us cry as usual. But the same attack still bailed us out. So how did airmark win when the attack he is criticising scored 4 goals?
Maybe I would have won if Man Utd won the game like 2-0, abi? Yesterday, Pochettino temporarily fixed the attack by benching your useless Sterling and he later injected Chukwuemeka and Madueke to boost the attack and boom, we won. Permanent fix is expected by summer when your useless Sterling is chased away from Cobham and we get a quality finisher. You go explain tire. |

timbros: Shut up man! Just sit this one out.
Don't even try to narrow your argument to specific players. Your argument all along have been Chelsea attack. Have Sterling and Jackson not been part of the attack that have been scoring 2 or more goals consistently? You are a clown! The same Sterling that came in against Burnley and drop an assist sharp sharp and your okay defence spoilt his harwork?
All the "attack vs defence" that is littering this thread, why haven't you corrected everyone that it's Sterling and Jackson that is your problem not Chelsea attack? Should I show you all your "Fix the attack. Period." comments? You don't know we have Palmer all this while when you are maligning Chelsea attack?
You are a clown, I swear. The two major things Pochettino did well in the attack yesterday that gave us the win, he benched your Sterling and brought in Chukwuemeka and Madueke to boost the attack. This is a temporary fix until summer when we do a permanent surgical operation on the attack by chasing your useless Sterling away, and get Jackson's upgrade to bang in goals. For the umpteenth time, you win matches by outscoring your opponents. Kudos to Palmer, Madueke, Chukwuemeka, Mudryk and Pochettino for shaming you, despite the disasters at the back. |

popizaino: Well put on the emboldened for men of better football understanding.
Great teams after conceding have the attacking prowess to come back. That's why timbros for the past 72hours cannot point to one match that Chelsea has had to come back from 2-0 down and win.
Pep guardiola unexpectedly conceded 2goals to Aston villa on the last day of the season two seasons ago and still came back to win 3 -2 and was crown champion. Until timbros is able to give me just 3matches were Chelsea has been able to come back from 2goals to win in the last 7 seasons then all his talks of defence whatsoever is rubbish. See the number of chances created by Palmer today? Imagine we have a clinical finisher this season, Palmer would have been banging on 40+ goals+assists and Chelsea wouldn't have been where we are. As we expect the signing of one quality CB and the returns of Colwill, Fofana, Reece, i believe Sterling by now, should know his time is up, and Jackson must welcome two new strikers next season if he goes on a loan. |

Airmark no dey shame.
Attack that is the problem keep scoring but the defence that is very okay keep conceding. You will not quietly enjoy your team's win today.
6 straight matches now the attack have been scoring 2 or more goals but they are the problem. While the defence have been conceding at least 2 goals consistently for 6 straight matches, and you get mind dey type nonsense.
The same attack you are maligning scored 4 tonight to cover up your stupid defence uselessness.
Conceding repeatedly against the worst attack in EPL is not enough for you, you went on to concede 3 times after the attack suffer to go 2 goals up. If the same attack you are critisicing did not dig deep and win this match, by now you would have been narrating chances missed.
Airmark respect yourself and just celebrate our first league victory over Man Utd since 2017 in peace. In case you have night blindness as I assume you are at night, nihilist has helped with crayon and black pen, to highlight the culprits ( Sterling and Jackson, who fired blanks today). Sterling wasn't started, and we were 2 goals up. Madueke later helped us to get the equalizer. Pochettino benched Sterling, and later injected Chukwuemeka and Madueke to add life to the dying attack, the rest is history, as we outscored them unlike against them at Manchester. Even before December, I had already called Palmer, the best Chelsea attacker and he rescued us. Imagine having more attackers of Palmer's quality upfront as a top striker and wingers, our opponents will be dead before half time. Pochettino, got it right with the changes he made in the attack and we outscored Scummies and won, despite having disasters at the back. Bury your head in shame.

swiz123: So they set trap of false victory for you and you fell for it. You are really slow.
Is it not the same attack that you said is the problem that scored 4 goals while the faultless defence shamelessly conceded 3 goals after being 2-0 up?
Since two goals is not enough, we have to score 4 goals every game. Not the same attack. My boy Madueke's dashing run got us the important equalizer. Unlike you leprous fingers hailing Sterling as attacker of the year,my Palmer came to the rescue in almost all our goals. Consistently I have been hammering on Sterling and Jackson as the major culprits and Pochettino got a bit of brain not to have started him and to bring Madueke in. By summer, we should get a natural striker to replace Jackson and chase Sterling far away from London before looking at defence. A fit Colwill would have played instead of Badiashile and save us the nightmare today. Fofana and Reece if not sold should bounce back. You win matches by outscoring your opponent. Palmer should be collecting Sterling's salary. |
