Same Ryan Giggs that slept with his brother’s wife for good 8 years don’t have a hat trick to his name. Truly it’s not by how far but how well.
24 years at Man UTD, no hat trick. If we check during that period he would have down countless 3-somes.

Hidden hazard 9 years at Chelsea......2 pl hatricks

Small Palmer in one season.......2 pl hatricks.

Palmer is clear of that fraud. Biggest Chelsea talent is the last 50 years.
Well, I am more interested in left footed attackers and your legend, Giggs, came to my mind. Palmer >>>> Giggs.

We already know that Garnacho is greater than the fraud, Giggs with no hat-trick in 24 years.

Madueke and Jackson needed that goal more than Palmer. He was already on an hatrick and we are 4:0 up. He should stop being self centered before the other attackers turn on him.

Giving attackers the credit of a defender while blaming defence for the error of the whole team.

Thiago Silva scored, means the attack is better,Sheffield equalised when the whole team were cramped in the box meant the defenders were at fault.

I didnt want to have to discuss inanities,

We played 60 minutes of football against 10 men. Not just any 10 men either, but 10 men of a Burnley side in 19th place, that have conceded 67 goals this season, and you're looking at your defence instead of questioning your attack?

What is wrong with you? A red card is literally an attacking bonus to the other side. They literally had a defender sent off. Any sensible pundit would rightly be questioning a profligate attack for squandering gilt edge opportunities, instead of complaining about 2 low percentage goals they scored.

They scored a long range shot from midfield (xG of 0.03 btw) and from a corner. The long shot was fortunate, and corner goals are dice rolls, even though I question why a sub 6-foot dwarf like Enzo Fernandez was marking 6'1 Dara Oshea for the goal.

It is only on this thread that I've seen people question why we didnt keep cleansheet playing against the (10 man) 19th and 20th team in the league, instead of spelling Burnley and Sheffield
Timbros is terrible.

I remember in 1991 when Nigeria beat Burkina Faso 7-1. We spelt Burkina, and nobody even criticized the Eagles for conceding to those malnourished Burkinabes.

Just destroy your weak opponent with your goals and move.

It's a pity that some old Chelsea fans couldn't see Chelsea as the big one that should be dominating small fries like Sheffield. They are no different from Pochettino thinking about defending a slim lead against fvckin Sheffield.

Valdes came to united at age 35 after recovering from a long term injury ,no sane person expected him to bench a prime de gea who was easily the best epl gk then

He didn’t hurriedly retired ,he still went to Middlesbrough and was their first choice GK for the epl that season

Telling you this so you will try to get your facts right next time

Lastly attack isn’t the best form of defense ,you need a good defense and GK ,I remember this same Valdez denying chelsea 3 one on one Chances at the ucl in Stamford bridge ,if he was a useless GK like kepa and co there is no way you won’t win Barca in that game because your team dominated Barca

But there comes iniesta late winner because your attackers like fraudgba kept wasting chances all game and Valdes kept saving the ones he could

Once again your defense is pure trash ,even with brazillian tinubu back .
Valdes left Man UTD in 2016 and retired in 2017. That must be a long time to you, right?

Valdes before the so-called injury, was so great that he never made Fifa best XI. grin Let's clap for him for making the 4th team though. His best individual honour. grin

Against City/Liverpool/Arsenal, most teams won't attack for fear of the attackers those teams parade...

The best way to defend is to attack. City/Liveepool/Arsenal might win 1 vs 2 and still look more comfortable than Manchester United or Chelsea when they win with the same score line. If your attackers don't make the opponent scared of bombing forward then, your defenders are in for it...
This is what flies over many people's heads.

Our opponents know that we have clowns as attackers, so they boldly attack us. They know Jackson may see 4 chances in the box and start 'counting legs' or he forgets the ball at the back.

When you remember how Barca with Messi, won major trophies with Valdes as keeper, you will be convinced that, 'attack is the best form of defence'. The same Valdes came to Man UTD and was relegated to developmental team and hurriedly retired.

Which is why I said, if your argument is that you want to lock up shop after scoring 2 fortunate goals against Sheffield, rather than question how on earth Nicolas Jackson managed to play almost the entire game without kicking a ball in anger in their keeper's direction, then me and you have nothing further to discuss...our ideas of football are too different.

If we aren't questioning how we failed to batter Sheffield on account of roku-ing some dagbo goals, then let's move to discussing the positives abeg. At least we are unbeaten after playing the 19th and 20th placed teams in the league. We thank Jah for small mercies.
Sheffield that a striker like Osimhen, would want to use to increase his tally massively, the mumu Jackson was moving the ball away from goal like they swore for him.

All of this makes sense until you look at thr facts of yesterday's match.

Sheffield created more chances than us: 10 key passes vs 6
They had more shots than us: 11 vs 6
They had more shots on target than us: 6 vs 3
They won more aerial balls than us: 23 vs 21

By every attacking metric, they dominated us. Our 40 year old centreback had more shots (1) in the game, than our lead striker (0) against an opponent that has conceded 82 goals.

And that's why I'm not buying any nonsense argument that we did enough to win the game, when actually they did more.

Its gotten to thr point where niggas are beginning to ask why we shouldn't be prioritising protecting a lead against Sheffield for God's sake.

People shouting about City, won't see that City conceded 2 goals against Palace on Saturday but won 4-2.

How on earth are niggas complaining that we did not protect lead against Sheffield? Team wey we suppose dey give 3 goal head start, before trashing.

This is what our mates are doing. Then there's us looking for cleansheet...against Sheffield?!
Very irritating to stomach. Fvcking Sheffield that Arsenal scored 6 against. That Aston Villa scored 5 against o.

Had the match ended 4-2 in our favour, would anyone be showing one useless goals conceded stats today?

One of the reasons I asked us to fix the attack in January, was because the Jackson we have as our top 9, is not even qualified to be our top striker and we needed a replacement to rescue the season asap.
No alternative as your Jackson kept on stinking the joints weekly, with irritating displays in front of goal.

Palmer should stop feeding your useless Senegalese balls as he is clueless and wasteful. Maybe we should convert Gallagher to replace the flop upfront sef.

And that's why it's an incredibly lazy way of analysing football.

Sheffield united have now scored 8 goals in 4 games. Everybody who has beaten them has had to outscore them.

They led Bournemouth by 2 goals. Led Fulham by 3 goals before VAR, and were drawing 1-1 with Liverpool in the 80th minute 3 days ago.

They were even drawing City 1-1 in that game.

What everybody seems to know, except for Poch and a lot of you on this thread, is that Sheffield are terrible defensively, and so the job of outscoring them is easy.

Sheffield scored the same 2 goals against Brighton this season, and still lost 5-2. Scored the same 2 goals against Luton and lost 3-2, scored the same 2 goals against Crystal Palace and still lost 3-2, e reach our turn now, and I'm hearing all kinds of excuses as to why we can't score more than 2 goals against a team that even Burnley have given 5 this season.

Damn, how my mighty club has fallen sha.
At least we can say injuries to better defenders forced us to be using them Disasi and Broda Shile. Who is Jackson's competition as top 9 in the team?

I am ashamed that we have this type of attack that even Aston Villa's, is better than.

Check how many shots they had on and off target, and how many chances they created.

This is why I agreed with Trevor012 when he says penalties are masking Palmer's true attacking output. City dominated the match from start to finish, completing over 900(!) Passes, finishing the game with 81% possession, and firing almost 20 shots at the keeper.

They did not win because the kept cleansheet after scoring from a corner and a fortunate punt at a shït keeper.

They created chances and dominated the game.

I attend all the home matches at Sheffield United. My kids are in their academy and even walked out with the players as Mascots in the game against Fulham last week.

Week in, week out, rhat team is battered by everybody and anybody. E reach our turn now, and I'm hearing about cleansheet.
Disgraceful.

If Palmer doesn't turn up as expected, we are in for it. The boy must not get injured, I can't be wasting my time watching a Jackson's show that is not of Michael's.
