So if we missed 9 less big chances, making us equal with City at 40, would we be instantly on par on league points with City?
It's feasible.

Let's assume :

We converted 1 big chance each in both legs against Mnc, that's 4 points added to ours and 2 points deducted from theirs - Che - 39 pts Mnc - 51 pts

Converted 1 big chance each against Arsenal, Bournemouth and Liverpool -
Che - 45 pts Mnc - 51 pts

Converted 2 big chances each against Nottingham forest and Man UTD -
Che - 51 pts Mnc - 51 pts.

Nobody will be looking for nonsense balance in defence.

Haaland alone missed like 5 clear cut chances, like 3 free headers

The chances you missed are Sterling 2, Jackson 1 and Nkunku
Haaland didn't miss any 5 clear-cut chances yesterday. Do you even know the meaning of clear-cut chances, if you really watched the match?

Your scenario works if Chelsea buries their chances and City miss all theirs

So what do you think happens if Haaland buries all the open chances he was getting

Stats yesterday showed City had overwhelming more shots on/off target
Which team had more clear cut chances in the match?

Weekly, we are always topping the big chances missed chart. But no, you must mislead Timbros.

I was on my own when you started the mentions. Be ready to finish what you started.

You are so good in attacking Sterling that Unlimited22 had to remind you to mention him when your next round of attack starts.

You wouldn't know how Sterling and Jackson had messed our season up, because you didn't even watch our matches.

The criticism of defenders here have been evenly spread out. Nobody wey we never criticise here. But in attack, the main culprit have been Jackson. Airmark attacks Sterling at any given opportunity that's why it looks as if the attackers have been criticised more.

Trust me, the defenders have been so error prone this season, directly giving away cheap goals all season long.
Stop mentioning me in your foolish posts, as I have left you to your disgrace.

Was I the one that posted below or was I the one that wished Sterling, death?

Where were you when this same set of defenders was drinking 4 goals per match back to back few weeks ago?

Shebi you will remember my moniker exist when Disasi play well and win MOTM but you will melt away when the same defence concede 4 goals per match.
I was smart enough to know that you didn't watch yesterday's match, just as I was sure you didn't watch 60% of Chelsea's matches this season. The reason you couldn't see our major problem.

The bolded reeks of agenda because it appears you are deliberately ignoring all those golden opportunities your forwards missed yesterday...

It's an open secret that most sides would almost always be on the backdoor vs a typical Guardiola team playing at home - Possession, goal scoring opportunities etc would always be few and far in between. Bearing this in mind, profligacy in front of goal is literally an unforgivable offence - you simply cannot afford to be missing chances like we saw yesterday.

For the records, the Chelsea defence did well last night.
Timbros didn't watch the match, don't stress yourself.

timbros:
Which agenda exactly?

Do you also agree that Chelsea's defence is very okay, that we shouldn't work on it and focus only on improving attack?

Airmark feels that Disasi winning MOTM is an indication that our defence did okay. Forgetting that MOTM award is a personal thing. Disasi had a great game and he was duly recognised for that. However Chelsea as a team failed to win the game because the defence conceded a late goal. Where is the agenda there?

It is this same Man City that we scored only one goal against and won UCL. Was our attack of Werner, Havertz and Mount the best attack in Europe then? Why did we win the match? Water tight defence. Simple.

Individual award is very different from team result. That is why I made reference to the 'keeper who conceded 10 goals but won MOTM award. If you are a fan of that club, will you be happy that your' keeper won MOTM award or will you be angry that your team lost 10-1?

I was on my own jejely when Airmark, with his scratching fingers, mentioned me. And now you are insinuating that I carry agenda.

If you guys think that attack is our only issue, then do well to advice Poch to field 11 attackers and bench all our defenders. Playing 11 attackers will increase our chances of scoring more goals.
Sorry to ask, are you blind in real life?

Did you mean Haaland and Debruyne played full 90 minutes against us in that Ucl final?

Stop embarrassing yourself Mr. Man. Rest.

Both of you are very foolish if you don't accept that both attack and defence have specific role to play in the football pitch. Balancing those roles form a perfect team.

If both play their roles correctly, the team win matches consistently. A balanced team score goals and is water tight in defence.

You guys are shameless to even think of mentioning me in a match where we are on course to win (attack played their role) but a porous defence conceded late in the game to deny us all 3 points. Even more shameless is the fact that both of you forgot that Timbros is existing when we were scoring 6 goals in 2 matches. Where were you guys when we were conceding 8 goals in 2 matches?

I can forgive Popizaino if he doesn't understand what a balanced team in football term means because he is a French speaking Ivorien, but Airmark? It is a big shame that through all your years of sojourn in the white man's country, you still find it hard to understand the term balance in football dictionary... Oh damn, I forgot, Canada is a French speaking country too.

Make both of una getat.
Obviously and as usual, you didn't watch the match. No need arguing with a blind person about the colour of my pant.

You think someone that’s glued himself to Lagos money, handpicks governors who all answer to him and seek approval before signing a cheque is better than someone that washed his hands after serving his term in office.
Which governor in Nigeria has done that… they all want to keep looting grin

When you see Igbos from different states here supporting Obi… just know no other Igbo leader can get that support…. They know the man and can touch for him.
Your far away opinion don’t count here.
Nigerians already missed an opportunity, Obi shouldn’t even contest as APC don wreck the country. Tinubu will continue to spend recklessly while telling Nigerians to manage. His supporters will be dragging Obi 7 years from now to divert our attention.
