This guy really took his time to analyse Jorginho game, with loads of video evidence.
His conclusion after a lengthy analysis was that Jorginho can't defend, hides from passes under pressure, cant run, congests space Infront ball carrier, etc.
I have to say I agree with this analysis whole heartedly. I will gladly accept a Jorginho/Hojberg's swap deal. |

Ibime: I don't think that guy knows anything about midfield. His own is just to hail whoever Pep signs or tried to sign. He won't even stop commenting how Pep tried to sign Jorginho. That's the first reason for his deification of Jorginho without engaging his eyes. Even when Tuchel turned Jorginho to water carrier, he still believed Jorginho was a midfield controller. If Pep had signed Bakayoko as he wanted, don't be surprised, this guy would be hailing Bakayoko as the best midfielder in the world. Some people mortgage their brain to anything Pep, Barca or Man-City because they have no understanding of what they are watching.
Macherano was very poor is his later Liverpool career, and poor as a midfielder at Barca. He earned his coin at centre back. He was always outplayed for Argentina and was a dysfunctional midfielder for them. Where Mascherano played well was the early part of his Liverpool career but he lost it all of a sudden. Maybe it was Alonso that made him look good sef. Mascherano was a fast and combative midfielder. I'm surprised he put him with Pirlo and co. Sometimes we'll be discussing with people not knowing their level.of understanding is basic. Maybe it's grammar that make them seem knowledgeable at times. He had mentioned it in the past, i thought he made a mistake and i overlooked it. No sane viewer will say Mascherano was slow even at Barca when he was playing regularly. |

donjazet: Jorginho possesses this very well. Jorginho is hardly ever dispossessed and progresses the ball forward via good passing.
As for your 2nd paragraph, busquet, pirlo, Xabi alonso, rodri, carrick, mascherano. These are all slow DM's, are they all terrible by virtue of their lack of pace?? DM's are rarely defined by their fast pace. Never put Mascherano among slow DMs, make thunder no fire you.

Sensible club owners spend money on squads when they have a coach delivering the results they want unlike Cuntay that got the sack. When Cuntay is able to make the CL semi finals maybe he will get a club to spend on him[/s] Name one coach that spent over 1bn on players in 6yrs and didn't get it right locally? Fraudiola got it right locally with over 1bn spent on players for a Ucl semifinalist he took over, yet he couldn't win Ucl in 6yrs. |

I am looking for posts from nateevs, sinizia and nihilist around October or November 2016 that were warning people to pray that Pep doesn't get it right in the EPL because if he does get it right, the whole league will suffer for it
I want to pull it so show some of these people that some people who knew football already saw that he would turn the league to a farmers league. When Conte won it in his first season, what did you tell us when we asked you why Fraudiola didn't win it? Do you need a postdigger to remind you? Name one coach that spent over 1bn on a Ucl semifinalist to get his type of players and didn't get it right locally? N.B. I don't want to read that stupid claim that Fraudiola didn't spend, but the club did. Below, you claimed Conte spent and not Chelsea spent, even when he was not a 'point n kill' manager like Fraudiola. raumdeuter: Cuntay spent a quarter of a billion when he finished 5th and sacked |

hensben: Lukaku can score but his team play can’t help the team for titles, mostly against tough opponent. I don’t hate lukaku but he is not the type of striker to lead a team to trophies. You claimed that he could only thrive in a team that play counter attack football. Didn't he thrive in Belgium? Or what is the main duty of a number 9? No more to score goals? Even at United, he scored against Psg. So whats the meaning of he doesn't perform against tough opponents? Was Lukaku the one that blinded Havertz not to release him on goal and probably score your tough Liverpool? All your reasons for condemning Lukaku are nothing to write home about.

He has weak mind that he need to be adored before he can do anything but we have young players up front that should be looking up to him. Tuchel on Lukaku: First of all, we are happy that we took the time to look calmy on it, this is what we did. He apologised and is back in the squad for training today. The most important thing was to understand and believe it was not intentional.
There was never the slightest behaviour against the team. These are very important points to understand that it is not that big as people or you want it to be. It is also not small but small enough to stay calm, to accept an apology and to move on.
He is aware of what happened and he created and feels the responsibility to clean the mess up but there may still be a smell of course. We are happy that he is our player and we will protect him. If someone strongly disagrees, this is about the team with everything we do
He is very committed. That is why it was so surprising to me. He scored against Villa and then the next game but he was there and decisive. I never, before the interview, had the slightest doubt that he was not committed. He is an emotional guy, he does not hold back with his opinion. We should not just blame him and point on the negative side of it, we have to adapt. It created some noise that you don't want but there are zero doubts in his committment to the team.
I think the players get the best out of themselves. With Romelu it is not about finding positions, he is a striker, a number nine and that is it. It is about adaption to a different team, teammates, then comes Covid. We are in a totally normal place with him.
I have read more difficult quotes to cope with in previous years as a coach. He was not happy because he was injured and had Covid but he wants to score for us, make us successful and that is pretty much it. I don't see any misunderstanding in communication. That is why I was surprised, and still am. He's our number nine and I cannot say any more.
Was the intention to create trouble? To leave the club? I don't know, put pressure on the coach? No. Of course he should have known better but that is why we have cleared the air together. |
